Yes, same here. It loads much faster and this includes the LODs too. That means that for me the difference was very noticeable. I'm absolutely happy with the SSD and I definitely won't go back to the old HDDs! Btw, thx for the spec answer! I was planning to upgrade to a similar system at the end of the year. :D

Yap, I'll upgrade too. Bought a SSD (Samsung 830 Series - 256 GB) already now because there simply wasn't any more space on my old SSD (60 GB) and my 80 GB HDD. :D :D But at the time A3 comes out, I'll buy everything else brand new! Dude, you should! It's really worth it!

You never know what others think. :) I think that the majority of the posters welcome these commands, Maruk. And them being developed without loss of time or effort is still better - I don't see any problem there! The community really can't complain about BI's general update policy, IMO.

I may be wrong, but this sounds to me like another of those BF3/CoD/MoH bashing arguments, like "'Cause those noob-shooters have it, Arma must not!" (no offence intended). I mean... What's wrong with using 0 flot zone when it is available to set it this way? In my opinion it's not at all!I guess that it's a pure taste thing. Go ahead and use it - even if you know that it is a disadvantage. But you should not get mad when you get shot in MP because other players USE 0 float zone. :) A small addition from my own experience: I played similarly in "earlier times" - back in the days I was at AToW (with the floating zone and other hyper-realistic features that I thought were cool but make life more difficult than needed). Then a guy named Celery ;) joined the tournament. ;) And he was absolutely fast in shooting others - including me. I was so upset because of this and at one point I even thought he had marked a point on his screen with a marker pen and thus didn't even have to bring up the gun. :D So that made me learn that lesson. I don't play with crosshair - have it completely disabled. But to make the floating zone > 0 obligatory would be way too exagerated, IMO. Edit: Btw, I also don't have a point marked on my screen! :nerner: :D

Yeah, and the funny thing is that I bet that if Arma had such a tactical pace first (just like it looks now) and then BF3 was released later on, certain people would complain how DICE dared to steal such a realistic feature into their "down-dumbed" game. :D Oh, how pointless this sh*t is (in my opinion ;) )...

Actually Arma 2: CO is at the No. 1 position for almost 2 weeks now. ;) It's only displaced for a short while when another game is reduced (and it has to be a popular one - otherwise even there Arma stays on top). Knowing the series (and its popularity) for a decade now - that's just... unreal! :D
