I was surfing around and found this Shader 2.0 effects for Vice City and they were using it on Ghost Recon so I tried it out on VBS1 and also OFp and it seemed to work fine. No it's not Kegety's DXDLL, it was made for Ghost Recon and works with OFP also. I tried this and it's not even as good as DXDLL, has no options really. It has already been discussed in another posting aways. well if you read the readme you would see the options but I forgot you all need the lil pictures and que cards to do anything anymore.... As for Kegetys I find it a bit too much at times and this is pretty simple. all this is is adding ambience to the game. Us it or don't but keep the whining opinions to yourself

1. it isn't "Kegetys" and 2 if they want to remove the pictures fine but I have been posting pics like this for sometime and if that is the case so be it

As for the depression quick update.. they said we would lose 85,000 jobs last month.. it was 20,000. To put this in perspective if you took the whole united states population and divided that 20,000 jobs it wouldnt equal a quarter a percentage point in who was effected. Unemployment FELL from 5.5 to 5% The dollar actually got stronger last month as well. As for "food" shortages its Rice mostly and wont really effect the US. Farmers are already planting and switching to corn and other items because as with games the hype is just too much to surpass. They just had a big deal about it in the news how certain farmers are swicthing their crops this year already to cash in. And if im not mistaken i saw somewhere someone is growing rice to cash in as well. So we will see. Next year bet we have an oversupply of rice and corn. Now fuel rules all and you will see less SUV's on the road and more economical cars and motorcycles ( i switched out a Explorer for a minivan this year saving 15+ grand right off the bat. went from 20 miles per gallon to 28 or 29 something in the city.

I don't see it as a hate but more so a educational film telling you what the extreme islamic attempt is. After watching this i looked around for other stuff and found "Islam: what the west needs to know" which is even more educational without the shock value. It uses Koran passages and people to support what is being said in the film. Disturbing stuff.

I was commenting on the low ambition comment. RVS was and is still a great game. Well done with very few problems. I still play it on a weekly basis. hell imma go play some now. lol

What? Low Ambition? what the hell are you talking about?. Rainbow Six Ravenshield was THE tactical game that all others strived to and STILL try to beat. ArmA will never achieve what Ravenshield brought to their genre of gaming.

we will have to wait n see but this has been talked about for over 2 years and they have yet to get an engine. So unless you have an engine you ain't got a game. Plus if you read their forums they are shopping the title so I would have to agree that it is probably gonna be vaporware. I watched it for awhile to see if it advanced any and it hasn't.

Your economic woes are not due to the country's economic problems. They are your own.Don't blame the Government on your poor planning. If you are unskilled this is your fault and not the governments. My god we have so many trade tech schools for younger people its disgusting. And I speak this from experience because I slept in a friends car for 6 months til i got my act together and decided I would be the one to change my life. And I have worked 3 jobs at one time to make ends meet so don't preach to me about i don't have a clue. I grew up in East L.A. And if it came to putting food on the plate for my family again I would live there in L.A. again and work 3 jobs to make sure it happened. at one point we lived in a converted hotel (now 1 room apartments) at 6501 Walker Avenue in Bell Ca. (check it in google maps ) before we could move in i had to bug bomb it for 3 days and about 4 pounds of powder to kill off all the roaches which took 2 days to clean up. I swamped trucks at 3 Am at albertson's unloading more chicken than i would ever care to see for 40 bucks. I worked at various food pantries unloading their trucks so I could take some of it home to feed my family as well. I have swamped trucks, been a security guard and even finished cement at one point in my life. along with way too many crappy jobs to list here. So get off your ass and do something about it.

ok played the "Steal The Car" episode and both times when I clicked continue I got the black screen of nothing and i could hewar the car honking but I couldnt change missions or get out of the car . when I tried it locked up my system and i hard to hard boot. as a side note is there a way to bring back the new 3rd person view the mod had before? i liked that angle.

I upgraded my system this year as well to a duo core 2 with 2 gigs of ram and a 512 7600GT running windowsXp with the latest patches and for the life of me it get s 25 frames most of the time and less in dense area. I have to run it so low in options that it is unplayable because I cant see anything beyond 100 yards. tress all of a sudden pop up and textures are horrible. I have concluded that ArmA just isnt worth the headache. I uninstalled it. lot more games out there that run a hell of alot better and alot more people playing. Hell my OFP runs better

hey I was surfing the web and on GR.net they had this dll file that works i assume similiar to kegety's. Anyways I figured I would upload it and see what you all think. NJMATRIX supplied the filesite for it thanks . I tested it with GR, SOAF and flashpoint and it does work. Drop the dll in the main folder where the exe resides and hit shift+F12 once the game starts. GTASA DLL
