the patch seemed to solve any problem I have had with performance. I can say I am actually enjoying playing it instead of bashing it. 2,16 Duo Core 2 Duo XFX Geforce 9800 GT Sata drive blah blah blah you get the picture.

The join mid game feature is probably armas biggest and best feature.So I will agree that part is a plus.

I love OFP. So I am biased. And yes if you use some of the great mods out there for OFP it can rival ArmA in weapons, hands and some of the vehicles. Arma does have OFP beat on the island foilage and overall look. But when you play WGL or FFUR or FDF or other mods OFP is still awesome and runs great. The CTI missions are still great fun and if you are new to OFP (which I am a adolescent to) You will NEVER play and complete all the missions that are available for download to play. I just reinstalled ArmA and started playing it to test this 115 beta patch and i am warming up to ArmA a lil but I can honestly say... it aint OFP

Mostly just BAD. On that topic : I'm looking more forward to the irregular Chernarus rebels and the Chernarus troops than I am to the US or RF ones. ^ This ArmA @ release could be run smoothly on nothing but the most high-end gaming rigs, unless you turned the gfx setting all the way to "OMFG this game looks hideous". That's gotta limit your number of potential sales (or brainwashing candidates). lmao Amen brother I just bought a new card and installed ArmA again to test it... uninstalled it just as fast. It set the standards for most games today. It is by far one of the best games ever made. Free or not. Still has like 7 million players playing world wide. It falls into a catagory all its own like OFP,GR, RVS,COD4 (yes I said COD4) I bought Farcry2 and I love it but you go online and there are 5 servers. You login to amerca's army .... hundreds and I think the new engine will bring new things as well. I for 1 am looking forward to it.

Thats what I am saying exactly since Obama has none what so ever. If it wasn't for his 300+ advisors he wouldn't have an answer for anything. They aren't Russia" then within 2 weeks turned around and stated "Iran is a serious terrorist and nuclear threat to the US and Isreal" so which is it? And that is sound Foreign policy? No it means that we have a nation of whining, non working, i want everything and want it for free and dont want to work for it and you wonder why we have corrupt politicians? first off if everyone was so tired of it and not lazy we could vote them out easily but we cant even break 50% voting . This is why we have Mayors who get reelected after smoking crack with hookers.

People need to start caring about this country again is the problem. I may not like Obama as a candidate but if he wins he will be our president and will get my respect. Americans have lost that respect and it shows in our congress as to how they treat each other.It shows in how business treats employees and it shows in how you treat your neighbors. I wouldn't show disrespect for our country, our flag or our President no matter how he does. How do you expect other countries to respect you when you don't respect yourself? problem isn't parties because those parties represent us and if that is the case we are the problem not the other way around. People need to be held accountable for their actions and we need to own up to our own mistakes.

yeah I built The same thing for less than 20 Bucks using Free Track as well. It works really well for those on a Budget and probably 2 hours worth of serious tinkering on making the stuff (wasn't hard really). A great project to do on the side if you like this kind of stuff

I feel your pain. is why ArmA collects dust on my shelf. only game I own I cant get out of the 20's on FPS. Even tho all the systemrequirement sites swear i have a machine for it all the way around. Go figure.

Hey everyone, I am a total goof when it comes to writing scripts for these things. What I am looking for is a way to 1. Random respawn so many Ai in random areas of an Island. Example is I want 60 Tangos to spawn in the vicintity of one of the towns. 2. Have it post up hiow many are left everytime a Ai is killed Example is Sgt.Gunny killed a Russian Officer. 26 Enemy left 3. End when the last AI has been killed. Example "good job gentlemen. Mission complete" If anyone could help me with that it would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to make some quick tango hunts for those days when a 2 hour + mission isn't feasable. Thanks in advance for the help.

problem isn't the people you all are complaining about. It's actually the game and the community. I have never seen a community so full of whining complainer knowit-alls in my life. You all complain about everything. If someone makes a mod it ain't good enough because it doesnt have certain troops or vehicles in it. if someone makes a mission it isnt scripted right, if someone hosts a 1.08 server you refuse to upgrade because you only play 1.05 and the list goes on. When did the fun leave the community and replaced by egotistic self proclaimed know it alls? You all need to check yourselves. Someone who doesn't know what the game is about or has never played OFP are in for a rude shock of just how slow and tactical it can be, and BORING and pissy the everyday players can be as well.I have played some missions you all have made and it takes 2 hours to see 1 iota of action. So instead of realising that you whine about how all the "pvp" people aren't as smart as you. I think this community has some very talented people in it but it is full of idiots who try and tell the rest of us how we should play. You don't like PVP players? So go play coop only I am sure the server you are whining on won't miss you.

I prefer OFP actually to ArmA, I own 2 copies of ArmA along with QG but I can't seem to figure out why i cant stand it. 1 reason is the sighting I know and the perfomance issues. I have a pretty good machine that ranks to the top when tested at CanYouRunIt but i never am able to get the game to run smooth unless i dumb it so far down and make it 640x480 and im sorry I only get at best 30 frames. So until i find that magical hardware combo the game likes or they fix it it will stay on the shelf and i will enjoy my OFP.

All of these have been removed and the site is now actually taken down. The files themselves were removed due to the other FURR projects not being supported. IF you had to pick which version of FFURSLX to play stick with 2.0 the rest are crashy and do not support multiplayer at all. This includes FFUR'85 as well im sorry to say. We have switched to GRAA 3.0 and it is working like clockwork. Tho not as fancy as the furr series it makes up in shear playability.

im not a fan of ArmA anymore but I still see Arma gold in stores as well.

I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying this mod. It is the perfect MP mod me n my guys and is exactly what we have been looking for. I have tested a few of the mods out here and those are SP oriented and crash severly when you play Multiplayer. Not GRAA We have been playing CTI for a solid week (at least 3 hours a night) and I have yet to see us have a single hiccup. Its well put together, looks great, the sounds rock. I wanna thank you from all my guys and I for giving us a excellent, smooth running experience. Awesome work!!!
