Mod looks really good and I love the new island. Any chance of getting a list of class names used in the mod?

Some more information would be helpful as I've LAN'd with multiple people playing on a remote server many times without incident. What OS's are you running? How are the PCs connected to each other/the internet? what kind of router/switches are in use if any?

Frame rate suffers huge drop(25fps down to 3-6FPS) when using any form of magnification on Proving Ground map with PMC lite. have tested with vehicles, scopes and binoculars and all produce the same results. I believe the problem to be related to the new tree models as it only seems to occur when several trees are on screen and magnified at once. I am able to look at and move through the trees without zooming at normal FPS. Zooming on single trees and non treed areas produces little or no FPS drop as well. None of the other included maps I've tried cause this problem. Changing video setting does not seem to affect this problem. AMD Ph2 X4 965 4GB ddr3 9800GTX+ win 7 pro 64

Mark me down as another one, worked fine right up until 1.55 patch. Steam and Arma always run as admin even tried uninstalling BAF to no avail. Can connect to non-BE servers just fine but and BE server starts to load the mission then boots me from server every time. Arma 2, Arrowhead & BAF all from Steam D:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead Win 7 professional 64 bit English

More steam fun bought OA and BAF DLC through steam after installing DLC neither OA or OA BAF will not start through steam, both crash out with the following errors: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'. Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 I have restarted, run Steam as Admin and re verified the game cache for both OA and BAF with no success. Running the arma2oa.exe from the root folder produces the same result however I have found that if I create a shortcut to the arma2oa.exe and add -mod=BAF the game will start no problem.

Thanks but I found a way to get it myself. I downloaded the official standalone 1.54 patch and used 7zip to search through the exe's file structure until I found the folder with the arma2oaserver.exe inside, then I just extracted that file to my server. Kind of a pain downloading 189 MB to extract an 8MB file but it worked.

there is a dedicated server for arma 2 but none for arrowhead. every one of my previous arma2oaserver.exe files I've had to download from elsewhere.

Where do steam users find a windows 1.54 arma2oaserver.exe file? It didn't come with the update.

Just noticed this tonight too. Wanted to play the coop sniper mission with a friend who just got the game but could never free up the 1st slot and disabling AI didn't work. At least there is an open ticket about it already

Anybody else notice the CQB rifleman with the eotech M4 has a permanent muzzle flash? It's completely unusable at night. Sorry if it was mentioned before, I looked through the thread but didn't see it

make sure you change the "start in" line in your launcher shortcut to the Arma folder and not your beta folder or you'll have all kinds of problems.

It's allot easier to get a logitech G11/15 or some other keyboard with programmable keys then to try and reassign some windows media ones.

Problem with ammo not reloading fully seems to not be limited to just vehicle mounted MG's. Any vehicle weapon system that uses magazines if affected ie. BRDM-2 ATGM ect. also would it be possible to allow the loading of a fresh magazine in a vehicle by pressing your reload key. right now it seems the only way to get to the next magazine is to completely expend the first one. Add another vote for the ability to set the tree's back to how they were in 1.08 for the people who have systems that can handle it. the crazy tree morphing is really annoying if your system doesn't need it for playability

this is what I have in my desktop shortcut with fresh install Target: E:\Atari\ArmA\beta\arma_server.exe Start in: E:\Atari\ArmA\beta I get the same "No Entry'.profilePathDefault'. if i run it from the shortcut I placed on the desktop or the arma_server.exe file in the beta folder and it does it on both of my computers. one running the U.S version and one running the German DL version. Fixed below. Thank you.

For anyone who's gotten the dedicated server working, How did you do it. I jsut uninstalled and reinstalled arma patched it to 1.08 then 1.08 hotfix, then 1.09 ran the server.exe from the beta folder and it still gives me the "No Entry'.profilePathDefault'. error message every time the servers starts. the server will start after I click ok but when i select a mission it reads from bank but never lets anyone pick their position or even bring up the screen to do so. if I start a sever as a player though everything works and people can join. I know some people have this working so what did you guys do?
