Maybe they didn't implemented every stuff from OFP Addons and VBS1, because the US Army wouldn't buy VBS2 anymore. They would prefer Armed Assault [/rumor] But i liked the cool way of these insertions in good old bas addons It's only a matter of time until those addons are released to the community.

I've got a P4 3Ghz 1GB Ram, too But i bought a X1950Pro 512...I thought 3GHZ "single core" are recommend but i got a tft with native 1280x1024 resolution and then there is no big difference between anti aliasing on very high or disabled...only 2-3 fps But like i said i got a 17" tft and i wont run arma at 1024x768 My actual settings: disabled shadows (biggest difference ~15-20 fps ), aa and af high, textures and shader normal (but no big difference while set it to high ~ 3-5 fps). So i play with 20-30 fps on the open field and 10-15 in urban areas So I conclude that arma is a fan of high-performance cpus, because I can play with the settings of texturequality, shaderquality, aa and af and and there is no big difference to the fps...the only thing really changed is the deteriorated visual quality. Mmh i think a better cpu would increase the performance immediately but why the hell are 3 ghz recommended? There should be words like "Core 2 Dou like" but not the only 3ghz, which is a big difference between the different constructions of the cores...

Interiors for tanks Better contrast of colors in the playerlist (press p in mp) fix the ammo bug (put much ammo in a vehicle and try to take some ammo out of it) MP Browser: Please make a field where the loaded addons are shown mmh maybe i'll find some more

Yep, I´m loving them, too. The interiors gave me such feeling of 'being in a tank' instead of the 2d tank view

Mapfact's Chinook: feedback This isnt the typical 1337 movie, but it should e enough to show that the gunner of the chinook seems to sit behind an armored and lucent wall :P Knowing that there aren't official tools out now, i hope that the the flightmodel will be changed from Littlebird to a big chinook regards telejunky Ahh damn...here is the video > click <(i didn't chose Youtube, becuase the performance isn't that satisfiyng....)

So here is my impression: Knowing that my cpu isn't that potently, i'm satisfied with the new performance: no more lags in the forest, but the cities are too horrible for my P4 530 3ghz :P I don't know why BIS is it listing it to the recommended specs...Especially i like the news SU, which is making much fun, because it is very dynamic and can handle large speeds. At least there are still some Bugs and missing anims like the "animated" artillery like in this . But there are still soundbugs like the one, that you hear 3 rounds firing but there is only one left I didn't checked the multiplayer but it seems that there has been some imrovements, too telejunky

I have a P4 530 3Ghz HT and 1GB DDR. With my old X600Pro i played ArmA at very low an 800x600 with max 30fps... With my new X1950Pro graphicscard i can play ArmA with highsettings (object normal, shadow off) with ~30 and 60 mx (60hz TFT ). It runs not that smooth in cities and areas with many units but i apologize that the 512MB limitation which will be solved with the patch 1.05, so that the cpu isn't charged that much anymore rgs telejunky

I liked that idea of publishing some infos to the community But BIS should have updated more times than only 1 time a month...As I said, I like the idea to create a charackters story besides the main one from the game. Maybe there will be a more vast blog for their nextgeneration game: game 2

If you turn the 3rd person view on and you look that from the elevator away, you can see that there is still the booth. So they deactivated it maybe some scripts don't work perfect...

Did you played OFP? First one main difference to the "normal" cti in ArmA is that you haven't any base at the beginning. The Commander has to look for a good place where he thinks it is the best place for building barracks, light vehicle factoriey, heavy,...air fac...defense guns, etc. I would say It's more team based than the standard cti. Your team can win by destroying all enemy buidlings or by holding every town for 2 min. Vehicles don't respawn! You have to pay it from you own money or by money given by your commander. You can buy own Units like AA Soldiers manned tanks etc. The actual limit for every player is 20 AIs. Sorry for posting two times

Mmh i think Sahrani isnt as bigger as Nogova was. There is more water around which makes the map up to 400km². The island itself is ~170km² big. The Rest of the Map is filled with water.
