Thanks , I know it would be great to incorporate ECP crews burning script but unfortunately it would occur a lag with other FFUR scripts, because a lot of scripts runing at the same time = Lag for low comps ! However , several changes have been carried out for the incoming woodland pack : LWP ural replaced by ORCS new one : CSLA BMP replaced by ORCS new one : Ural Soldiers animations replaced by new ones More pics about the progress will get published asap Regards TB84

I forgot you have been a crew and you've already experienced that : p just kidding... At first there are 2 main different ammunitions used by Heavy tanks : -Sabot and Heat , each one do use a different way of explosion, I'm not a military adviser but you might understand what I have in mind by taking a look on fas.org explanations about these both ammunitions and about the result of their impacts ! This is one of the main reasons that push me to not to use this "crew burning" script. The second which's also an important reason is to reduce the lag by using only Important and Usefull scripts in game in the goal to allow comps lower than 2.0 ghz to run the mod without to have to deal with any kinda lag...! Like: Tanks explosions / Choppers dust / water effects / planes explosions / Infantry AI...etc Regards TB84

Hi mates ! The AI has been improved a lot , you'll notice it yourself once in game using incoming packs. Yeah , there would be 3 installers for people who do wanna pack by pack , and there would be 1 Full installer containing all of them which would allow ya to get'em all. One folder by Theme. FFUR woodland -> folder's name : ffur FFUR winter -> ffurw FFUR desert -> ffurd With the cooperation of an experienced US military of the era 80, several changes would get carried out. I'll keep you informed about incoming improvements in realism's way. Concerning ECP scripts , only the crater would get used , Honestly I don't find very realistic "crews burning" because when a tank is hit , one usually immediately die or become unconscious due to the impact power. Hi buds ! Some news from the front : -So following the fact that the crater occurs a minor lag for comps lower than 1.3 ghz , I've decided to take it out from Tanks and APCs explosions , and to keep it only for choppers crashes , plus it seems more impressive on helicopters explosions -T-72 Replaced By ORCS one which do perfectly fit with the wanted era . -Sanctuary animations applied for east and west sides , people seem to not to really appreciate ORCS ones... they aren't totally optimized even they're very nice ! Somes pics of the stuff in progress (thanks to Maestro Parvus ) Pierre (FFUR new member) will carry out a very nice promo movie before the release showing all changes Best Regards Thunderbird84

As you know there're 2 different ways that flashpoint do use to get installed because it can be installed as "Operation Flashpoint" or "OperationFlashpoint" It depends on the version you bought... so currently we're experiencing some weird problems using the FFUR mod because it seems that people who have : Don't get any problem by using the mod but people who have met weird problems of So hmm , I'd like to know the name of your ofp folder in the goal to make a right decision basing myself on the majority of votes ! 47 people have this path instead of only 27 for people who've These errors occur because there's a path for islands defineded under for each island though, so following the fact that ffur do use its own islands instead of old bis ones without overwriting them , a lot of things need to get defined correctly !The errors which occured a few days ago are due to minor problems but they're fixed right now !

Some news from the front : so at first thank ya for your cooperation by voting in the poll done a few days ago, btw we'd like to inform ya that we've decided to remove the blood and back blast effects in the goal to reduce the lag and to allow to ALL computers higher than 1.0 ghz using the FFUR Packs . These both effects honestly do occur a lot of lag , especially the blood one though , the black bast one sometimes makes CTD...so best to tak'em out The packs're totally finished except the desert one cuz I'm sill waiting for NodUnit expected helicopters/tanks... , however we still need beta-testers , if you're interested just contact me by pm! Maybe the error has been fixed , I just changed the name of the folder ... I'm pretty sure that was the problem... Btw , yeah the FFUR mod do create folders in the goal to avoid overwriting BIS stuff , that's basic and logical However Reven will do a nice installer as usual which will will allow to choose your installation folder In any case this poll shows that the majority of people have an "operationflashpoint " instead of "operation flashpoint"... Yeah , I hope that the incoming Games made by BIS will have the same "paths" of installation for all versions...

M1A1 , textures mainly done by Sigma... not so old but with the flash and smoke effects they seem a bit weird though... however this tank's really awesome as the rest of used addons.

People will be able to choose their "path" , don't worry about it buds , the main current problem's a kinda error occurs at the loading for people who don't have classical "paths"... so we'll do our best to fix this problem with the help and support of beta-testers. Regards Thunderbird84

Of course they can , but the main problem is the "can't load FFUR/worlds/intro.wrp" well We'll work hand in hand with beta testers in the goal to fix this problem , until now only parvus had this problem (he has a different path than the classical one)...
