When we'll get all the wanted stuff.(Spetznatz shilka,luna...Hyk Japanese soldiers...) /Radio voices...etc. Please respect the instructions, we have done our best to avoid using this way of "islands replacements" inside the folders because it sometimes occurs some missing errors messages, that's why you've to overwrite BIS islands (Make a backup of course). The high-resolution pack uses high-quality textures made by the WGL mod team and some nice and suitable trees done by Berghoff. The main disvantage of this pack is the fact that AI sometimes crashes against trees or don’t drive correctly. The low-resolution pack uses BIS Resistance Textures and Objects. It’s quite an interesting island pack due to the fact that it’s entirely playable on all computers. Nobody had a such thing until now, there must be something wrong you've done, are you sure you installed correctly everything? Definately, if its source is the model from BOH then I'll contact Hyk. FFUR has been tested only on windows XP, but I'll bring a win98 misc installers in the incoming patch. No, this isn't a good idea cuz some of BIS missions load the mortar, so replacing it entirely won't be so good, the best way is to make a sjb M16 + BIS mortars even if it isn't so realistic. Of course it has a modelspecial, cuz without it the Law launcher would look like to the old BIS one. in fact the modelspecial's the same than the model but if there's a motivated addon maker ready to make a new modelspecial especially for the Law launcher having a deployed ironsight...then it would be great. In any way, you've to know that all these minor issues don't cause any real trouble in game but I'm really glad to see so many perfectionists... I've a feeling that the upcoming patchs will bring a quite nice result... Regards Thunderbird84

We will release a patch for each pack which will fix all these minor things and will bring a bunch of new changes (Spetznatz Shilka,Spetznatz Luna,Hyakushi new japanese retextured soldiers,radio voices in japanese and chinese...etc);) Thank you all for your support,help and kindness. What a perfectionist...The majority of these reports aren't really "bugs"...best to say they're "Suggestions". btw : -How many seconds do you see these rockets flying ? as maximum as possible, maybe around 2-2.5 seconds, so why should we make new rockets models?, plus there are any done by the community. -No, Cobra has tubes on its both wings, inside the tubes there are Tows. -Definately, the A10 cannon's very powerful and can easily destroy the most powerful tanks in the world. -Ok, will add sounds to the Abrams. -Will check the M203 sight... but I'm sure you're wrong cuz this sight has been carried out by Earl & Suchey, and we used their grenades values, I think that we can trust'em. -M113 & M163 models belong to their authors, we aren't allowed to modifie their models. -It's wanted to have repair trucks able to refuel cars and tanks, cuz in fact, the majority of repair truck carry refuel tanks. -Well found about the F16 rockets , we'll add the effect. -Right about the russian MG soldier, will replace the model by a suited one. -Already reported, it's wanted, it has been done for the gameplay to avoid breaking some of BIS missions. -Mi17&Mi24 models can't be modified, they belong to their authors. -It's wanted that the resistance grenadier carries 3 grenades instead of 6, it has been done for more realism cuz resistance forces aren't "regular"... and don't have the same possibilities than the rest of regular armies. -I'll contact jackal in the goal to make a model of his M16 + mortars. -The Law launcher belongs to its author, we won't modifie ANY p3d. -I'll re-define the Remington 870 bullets. The (faces/sky/flags) installers do work only with XP & 2000, not with the rest of windows (Me, 98..etc). Regards TB84

Hi, Definately, will fix it. Thanks,will fix it as well. Negative. This is due to the High reso Islands packs, if you read its readme , you'd notice that the AI don't drive correctly in these islands. Right, will fix it too. The extra config pack which we'll release at the same time than the patchs in a few weeks will bring a config especially done in this purpose, and the same goes for each pack. If you've windows XP then read again "How to install Asian faces.txt". We will do it once the patchs are released. No, reasons : will fix it too. Definately, we'll fix it. Perhaps. ASAP. This is wanted for more realism. It's a Huey, and the huey can carry only 8 soldiers, btw you have to know that there's any BIS missions which force 12 soldiers going up in a "blackhawk mg -> Huey" but we'll find a way to fix that. Thanks for the reports of bugs, even if they're minor we will fix all of them in the goal to reach the "perfection" as FFUR is intended to be... nah, the cpp's 925 kb; the bin version's 447 kb. you've to put the config.bin inside your \@ffur1985d\bin , NOT the cpp. make sure you don't have the cpp over there cuz this may cause some troubles. Edit : *phew*... glad to hear it . Regards TB84

Dude, I gonna make a config especially for you, if it won't work in your comp then withdraw the desert&winter packs, we were expecting such cases with 1% of people who don't have working islands paths on their comps. (sorry there's nothing we can do for you, we've worked like crazy in the goal to understand the source of that weird problem but even with talentend people like Sanctuary we unfortunately haven't been able to resolve it, why the hell do winter and desert packs work on more than 99% of comps but not on all of them?...), but try this config before withdrawing the desert pack ->Download If it still won't work then enjoy the rest of packs which doesn't need any islands to mak'em runing (FFUR 1985 woodland/ FFUR 2005/ FFUR Asian Crisis),though. Download Don't use 'em' with FFUR packs to avoid having duplicated addons. Regards TB84

Yup, added since a while, even before the release of the FFUR 4.5, it's a health bar based on 5 levels (1->5), it has as objective to inform you about your current health statut, so when you're seriously wounded, it decreases from the right to the left. If you mean that you're one of the unluckies 1% of people who've to add the "@" to their winter/desert folders's names, here are the few changes you've to carry out : -At first open the editable config, look for "class Eden:DefaultWorld" -Once found, you'll see below the following line : <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> worldName="\ffur1985d\Worlds\eden.wrp"; just add the "@" in front of ...ffur1985d then you'd may have something like this : <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> worldName="\@ffur1985d\Worlds\eden.wrp"; then do the same for the rest of islands classes : "Abel"/"cain"/"intro" and finally convert the cpp to config.bin then overwrite the old config in your \@ffur1985d\bin Make sure you renamed your ffur1985d folder to @ffur1985d, don't forget to do the same in your desert shortcut's properties. Honestly FDF guys have been nice towards us more than once, they just dislike the fact that people modifie their addons without any permission,logical,though. M61/M67 are timed like in real life, the F1 no cuz it does explode at the impact. we would include the RGD grenade in the FFUR 2005, this grenade's timed,though. well following the fact that there's any talented anim maker in our team, I requested cameron's help. If someone would do it then why not, if not I can give it a try. Best Regards TB84

Well , we'd use these pretty textures showed in the pic of the nice M1A2 above to re-texture Sigma M1A1 that we'll incorporate as patch for the FFUR Winter pack. (with the permission of the authors,though) It's important to have all default BIS addons folders clean and with only BIS stuff. (\Operation Flashpoint\addons l \Operation Flashpoint\Res\Addons) , both of these folders must still be clean without any extra stuff... or at least extra stuff which isn't present in FFUR addons folder. Please avoid duplicate addons. There's nothing we can do to fix this mate and we haven't tried the retaliation campaign with the FFUR stuff before releasing the packs as well. btw I'm really glad that you do like this stuff , thank you a lot Best Regards Thunderbird84

Definately , thanks. Yeah, it's wanted cuz there's a huge difference between 64 and 20 ammo, 20 ammo won't be quite enough to allow to spetznatz accomplishing some of the missions, plus the As Val isn't too accurate as weapon, that's why we kept the bizon's values.just for gameplay. Not really, russian officers and even soviets doen't wear "exactly" the same uniform than the rest of regular soldiers but they carry a helmet like them,especially during combats,though. I noticed that the russian officers who usually wear a cap, don't do it while combats (chechenian documentaries). Nope, FFUR is a total conversion pack, but for more information about installations just check the first post, readmes and the .txt files. If you don't understand some things, use "systran" to translate it into your first language. From "important.txt" FFUR has been done especially and mainly to allow you playing BIS missions and campaigns or extra campaigns which don't need any "extra" addons, having such errors is logical if you use other extra stuff already used in FFUR as replacement. Please avoid duplicate addons. Best Regards TB84

Thanks all for the nice comments Btw,as reven said,we will update very soon the first post with ".rar" archives for people who prefer grabing'em instead of the installers. More mirrors are on the way as well ... (ofp.cz) (OFPC) Thanks to both of them. and we'll publish very soon the Full packs for people who want to get 1 installer. Recall information : We included a bunch of detailed readmes and .txt explaining everything about each concerned pack. We have also included in each folder the "llauma" sky [intended only to people who have Fifth Generation Graphics Card (eg. GeForce 5 Series or Radeon 9 series)] as well. you will find a small installer incorporated in the FFUR 2005 folder which has as an objective to install the russian flag instead of the soviet one without overwriting it. [...that means you'll play BIS campaigns and missions not with the old soviet flag but with the new of the Russian Federation] you will also find another installer included in the FFUR Asian Crisis folder which has as an objective to install the Asian faces instead of BIS ones without overwriting them, this small installer does install also the japanese and chinese flags without overwriting the BIS ones,though. [...this means you will be able to play the BIS campaigns and missions not with US/soviet flags but with Japanese/chinese ones]. and for people who haven't seen it : Make sure you deleted all previous FFUR stuff from your Operation Flashpoint folders , and even from your comps before installing the new ones.
