This bug exists since 2 years, and you're the first one who reports it publicly :P Even EECP/Y2K3 have the same prob cuz both of them do use the same concerned CSLA models. Hopefully we'll get ride of it in the incoming patchs expected within a few weeks. Regards TB84
-
A lot of models, even BIS ones have some invisible parts which stop bullets when you open fire being hided behind destroyed vehicles. Regards TB84

This mission works perfectly with the desert pack and will all packs as well, at the begining of the mission you must go prone immediately in the goal to avoid to be detected then report all targets in front of you. Once the T-72's destroyed, advance with your teammates and save the civilians. Regards Thunderbird84

FFUR My sincere apologies to ofp.cz :P Regards TB84

Yeah, we will decrease it a bit. This should not happen if you don't have any duplicated addons. No, but I think we'll use another way which will allow you using the desert and winter packs without any problem for the 1% of people who're encountring difficulties with these both packs. Definately, this isn't due to FFUR but to OFP, the same happens even with OFP and there's nothing we can do, as far as I know, there is any line of the cpp which allows defining a such thing. But we'll remove the pistols from all regular/specops soldiers and we'll keep their use only for officers. Regards Thunderbird84

The source of this problem should be the islands, I repeat again : Read the instructions before installing the packs! Btw Sorry but we can't please everyone, we do our best in the goal to choose for you the best addons carried out thus far and we incorporat'em only if they're suited to the wanted pack and era. Because if we would replace some models to satisfie some people, you have to be sure that there is another minorty who would prefer including something else. That's why I incorporated for you an editable config allowing you to customize your own "FFUR". check carefully this great forum, you'll find a bunch of tutorials explaining how to replace "models". Btw , I have to say that the incoming envisaged patchs will bring a lot of enhancements and improvements for each pack. Cheers all and once again, thank you. Thunderbird84

This seems to be a problem of "mass value" of the p3d done by the Spetznatz mod, we will fix that and will inform'em' too. Regards Thunderbird84

Hi, No, the Sidewinder doesn't have to be "less" accurate, it's one of the best air-to-air low range missiles, when you lock and engage a target at more than (900 m) you might notice that the target can avoid it by breaking on the left/right and by launching flares at the same time. too Not recommended. will check that and will fix it. This is due to your graphics card which requires quite a powerful chipset to run Llauma sky, Please makes sure you read the instructions before doing such things. This isn't because of FFUR but because of your comp/graphic card or an ofp problem. Nobody has had such a problem until now. Already reported and already in our list of bugs that need to be fixed. -page 13 of this thread- AA Missiles removed to avoid breaking some of BIS missions. Well we've already cooperated more than once and we're still collaborating when needed. FFUR and Y2K3 don't have the same errors because with no offense intended towards Y2K3, ours are quite minor and don't cause any real trouble while playing to BIS missions and campaigns, plus we can fix'em ourselves quite speedily. We're just waiting for some extra stuff as Spetznatz mod "shilka,luna..." etc. FFUR and Y2K3 don't have the same objectives as well,FFUR has focused on new model replacements keeping balanced between realism and gameplay, while Y2K3 has mainly focused on replacing addons by keeping'em as they are and by privileging the "funny" aspect of the game. Y2K3 & EECP are the pioneers though and they deserve respect. and please the next time, check page page 13 of this thread before reporting bugs/errors to avoid making duplicate reports and causing confusion. And thanks for the nice comments Best Regards TB84

I can't wait to deal with all of them, they're so beautiful! Keep up the sweet work and hopefully we'd incoporat'em as envisaged since a while. Best Regards TB84

Thanks mate, I've totally forgotten to take out the rest of your unnecessary weapons classes from the FFUR 2005, the same goes for the rest of packs, though. *Added to the list of bugs that need to be fixed in the incoming patchs* Yup, unfortunately taken out due to some lag problems. Thanks again for the nice comments, support and perfect report of bugs, the incoming patchs would improve a lot these packs. Best Regards TB84

lol. ok dude, then bring us some "pretty" sounds that we'll use instead of our "poor" ones. "A fat guy with a cap on?" -> this model has been carried out by Hyakushi, one of the most talentend addon maker of the community, the textures belong to a talented addon maker from RHS as well, and the texturing-job's mine and seems not bad at all. "modestly, though". Btw if you dislike so much these models, so what the hell are you waiting to show us yours ? Well unfortunately we can't please everyone, if you're so disappointed then go ahead and make your own mod. At first: Mods may share common intentions while having unique objectives. FFUR has focused on new model replacements keeping balanced between realism and gameplay, while ECP has mainly focused on new effects and gameplay elements. ECP isn't a competitor of FFUR and the same goes for us towards 'em, many of them are our friends and some partners, just as for y2k3, regardless of the relationship they have between each other. I learned cpp editing by reading Pappys tutorials and learned to make my first basic scripts from just studying ECP scripts and OFPEC tuts. Best Regards Thunderbird84

All of the packs have been done specifically for the single player aspect of the game, not for the multiplayer side. However, we expect to release later an extra config pack which will add a few modified configs for each conversion pack to allow players to use FFUR online. No, each pack has its own effects, scripts, and changes... Best Regards TB84

Roger, thanks for the infos, we will fix these values asap. Regards TB84

Ok, added to the list of bugs that need to be fixed. Regards TB84

you'll always talk english as player, even if you're in a russian squad, but your teammates will still talk russian, though. If you'd like to have russians talking english as before then take out all voiceRH.pbo from your ffurxxx\addons\ folders. Regards TB84
-
If you mean the radio voices : US talk english, soviets/russian talk russian. Regards TB84
-
All FFUR selections titles have been writed in english, (campaign/ missions/ etc...). But if we'd have some languages supports (spanish, czech, italian, german) then we'd fix that. Regards TB84

Sure! regards TB84

Eww... the addons used in the FFUR 2005 are the best ones ever carried out thus far, the majority of them are made by famous mods and people as RHS/ Laser/ ORCS/ CSLA... The next time; it would be better that you make useful and interesting criticisms by arguing and explaining "what's so horrible?"... " and how can we deal to improve that?" if not then don't take part anymore in this thread. Definately comerade, Thanks. Should not, but try'em then you'll see. Btw , as said before we will increase the mgs accuracy. Best Regards Thunderbird84

@ratsnest : what's your default ofp shortcut properties ? We will release a patch for each pack and we will release 1 full pack with all the bigger packs fixed, btw I should incorporate very soon a governmental organisation in a few months...(I prefer to not to say what is it exactly... ).:P That will give, quite enough of time, to the great addon makers to make a bunch of pretty stuff we'll incorporate to the expected FFUR - ArmA after a little rest period, vacations etc. Best Regards TB84
-
A List of all enhancements and changes that will be done in the incoming patchs Thanks mates. Best Regards Thunderbird84
-
Before downloading any of the packs, you must make sure that your system's quite powerful to run the FFUR packs. --> Btw as reven said ,we can't please everyone but we'll do our best to enhance more and more all the packs in the incoming envisaged patchs. Thanks for the kind comments and the support. Best Regards Thunderbird84

Thanks, apparently we've done some minor mistakes about the grenades, we'll fix it. @10motb: check my post above. I regrouped all suggestions and report of bugs to fix'em in the incoming patchs, btw I repeat again, all of these bugs are minor, they don't slow your game down and they don't occur any crash. Thanks all. Regards TB84

I know what you're talking about but it usually appears decently , but sometimes it appears a bit too big, especially over "low" surfaces. This crater belongs to y2k3 but we'd maybe change it, (ECP one floats though). Well the default dxdll config forces people having at least a 5th generation graphic card cuz the reflections are enabled, and we prefer to prevent people by "safe" advices. Regards TB84
-
Please read the instructions to avoid such questions and even before installing any of the packs. Regards TB84
