Simple, people think that the lag's due to the size of textures, in fact its source is the "class useractions" / "class animation", I've taken both of them out of the T-80 class then everything worked very well. Regards TB84

Well we'd be glad to do such a change, but we need more suited faces because 32 are definitely not enough. If we'd implement'em, then they'll be intended only to US Army Infantry Personnel. This is not the final versions, more minor enhancements are envisaged. Btw, thanks people for the nice comments, glad you like'em. FFUR isn't a classical total conversion pack, We make more than a "classical replacement" that may make as changes these classical lines "model/hiddenselections/sounds...". All addons are decompressed and only the necessary p3ds are used, all models paths are changed for (5 packs). Every day we spend many hours streamlining and improving this project so as to reduce lag and enhance the playing experience. We do our best to respect people choices by keeping a balance between realism and gameplay, we make changes if necessary and we do our best to find a middle ground between gameplay and realism preferences that is enjoyable to all. I'm not trying to downplay the quality of other total conversion mods, but I would highlight the quality of FFUR, because it is due to a great deal of sacrifice on the behalf of myself and the entire team, giving time with our girlfriends and our real world social pursuits. Why? For one reason: Enjoying people by giving to this great simulator a new life. Regards Thunderbird84

Not especially, they usually have their kits around the belt. No, this is the worst way to replace Resistance songs, we'll follow another way to do it, Btw check out O_WP.pbo config... Perhaps. We're focused on FFUR 2005 pack right now. Regards TB84

After several hours of work, here's the new US camo based on ebns72 shots, Bobcatt666 advices and STGN first tex. It's still "beta" but I'm quite satisfied of te result, I hope you'd like it as well. Regards TB84

Hi all, What's Marfy's Kiowa link? Unfortunately for several reasons, we can't use the Huey instead of the Blackhawk, at first because the UH1 carries less soldiers, its shielding's lower, plus there's no rocket version that might replace the UH-60 (FFAR). No, that's impossible cuz each mod has its own config and its own EH classes, combining both of them may make occur a lot of errors. Perhaps the incoming FFUR multi configs can be used for such purposes,though. Well, we avoid to implement such scripts in order to get the lower framerate's level, plus it's quite useless as scripts even if it might make more realism. Thanks.;-) Regards TB84

Thanks ebns72 for these great and very useful informations. Except the red/brown part STGN BDU seems quite close to the authentic one. I'd try to deal with these pics + stgn texture in order to get a decent US army BDU tex. Nice shots, though. Regards TB84

your textures are very good STGN, but the brown color seems a bit different from the authentic camo. I think we've to adjust the colors in order to get such a camo: Thank you people for your help and support, I think we'll make some changes then we'll show you the improved version. Edit: Russian winter textures have the same paths names than RHS ones, just replace RHS morotized infantry addon textures "RHS_RFMI.pbo" by those used in FFUR winter. Regards TB84

FFUR 1985, 2005 and Asian Crisis are based on a woodland theme, so all of them still use the same islands. For more infos, check out this page. Btw, I'd like to know the camo you prefer between both of these ones (TOP/BOTTOM). Your opinion would be appreciated and very helpful. Regards TB84

We will do our best to get the lower possible framerate's level, Btw I think It's a good idea to incorporate several different explosions. E.G: -Instead of having a script that occurs random explosions like ECP, I'll define a different explosion for each kind of armored unit. Modern Heavy Tanks (T-80UM / M1A2...) will have their own explosion effects. Oldy ones (T-72 / M-60...) will have different explosion effects as well. And APCs will have a mixture of both of the effects mentioned above. There are a lot of ammo boxes, check out carefully the mission editor, but they contain only firearms, explosive charges and magazines. Regards TB84

As said above, this has been fixed, all missing voices in russian have been incorporated. Edit : btw, I'm not satisfied too much of the new US camo, I think I'll make some changes on it in order to get something like this: regards TB84

lol, I thought nobody would notice it... ;-) Following the fact that the implemented F-16 in FFUR does carry a lot of heavy bombs and missiles (MK-82 or MK-83/GBU bombs, mavericks and sidewinders), its speed has been reduced. But we'll add the "burn-on" action in order to exceed 400 km/h. Regards TB84

Following the fact that these updates will have to replace all addons files by decreasing their number from 200 to 20 in order to establish the compatibility of FFUR with "extra addons", they will definitely be total conversion packs and not patchs. Btw, Reven will make a small program that allows you to choose the pack you wanna launch with the wanted config (Single or Multi), so you won't have to switch every time and to always make back-up copies. FFUR 2005 list of enhancements and changes *Fixed all reported bugs and errors. *Decreased the loading time of 40% by reducing the number of addons from ~200 to ~20 and by still keeping the same number of replaced addons, or even by adding several new ones. *Established the compatibility of FFUR with extra addons. *Enhanced the custom GUI. *Replaced Resistance songs by more famous ones coming from popular movies. *Increased the realism's level by changing all ammunitions values, this fact does increase the gameplay as well because combats are harder, longer and more exciting. *Replaced some sounds by realistic ones. *Added a bunch of NO lagy and very nice effects. (New MG tracers, new grenades smoke trails, new impacts effects, lifeboat for ejected pilots over sea instead of lifevests...etc). *Replaced all sniper riffles ironsights by new realistic ones inspired from SFP. *Replaced several weapons in order to make the current used equipment of the two armies personnel as authentic as possible. (closely followed by militaries & by "armies" fans ;-) ). *Enhanced some textures. (US soldiers, US crew...etc). *Added several new units (M82 Heavy Sniper, OSV-96 Heavy Sniper, Su-27 Flanker...). Envisaged replacements *Ru Shilka -> Spetznatz Shilka. *Ru Scud -> Spetznatz Luna. *Ru As val -> ORCS Vss Vintorez. *Ru Spetznatz will carry the GSH-18 as handgun instead of the APS. *US jet fighter pilot -> Fishkop exclusive US jet fighter pilot. *US M4 Marksman -> SJB M4 Marksman. *US Engineers, M13 , Javelin soldiers will carry the M4 Aimpoint, and the US officers will carry the M4 Reflex. *US S&W -> SJB Raging Bull. ... and much more... Can't Enumerate all of them, there are too many, just wait and see. Just some screens done a few minutes ago: ...you'd be informed very soon about the enhancements done on the rest of packs... Then close all programs before to launch FFUR mods, btw, you have to know that the loading time would decrease of 40% because all addons will be regrouped in kind of "FFUR_..." folders, so due to that, their number will decrease from ~200 to 20 more or less. You enjoyed the current FFUR 5.0 packs but trust me, the incoming 6.0 version packs would be so far better than all previous ones... Regards TB84
