Merry Christmas mate, merry merry christmas all, and thank you for your support and kindness. You built FFUR and you kept it alive, I would have been glad to continue modding for OFP but I'm forced to withdraw my favorite passion because of some real life duties... Btw, because of some reasons that have delayed the FFUR european project we haven't been able to carry out a quite decent "Multiplayer" config but I promise we'll do our best in order to release it on the 1st January 2006 and maybe we'd publish the FFUR 2005 6.0 as well. Another good news, there would be the replacement version of the nordic islands pack intended to replace BIS Islands which should be released very soon as well, special thanks to all people behind it!(Berghoff, wgl, mrburns...etc) In any way, ETA 6H13, stay tuned... Best Regards TB84

Merry Christmas and best wishes for the year 2006

DELETING configs doesn't mean EDITING the model or the textures of the Model. both purposes are totally different from each other. When we want to edit a model we ask for permissions first.
-
FFUR mods have clean mission editors, to carry out such a feature you have to edit all .pbo in order to take out all configs. Plus all addons have been decompressed to further reduce lag and framerate difficulties and only relevant and required P3D models and textures have been retained for the FFUR mod in order to decrease the loading time. Regards TB84

Give a break to this thread. This is the last pack of FFUR for Flashpoint, no permission would be required until ArmA would be released, you concluded FFUR won't change its policy, it's your opinion which entirely belongs to you but such "Statements" don't have anything to do here. I call that "flaming".
-
Only the FFUR Euro would be released within 24 hours, 24 hours of big stress... Regards TB84
-
FFUR 2005 as well. It's too late to maker any changes right now, the pack would be released tomorrow and the upload takes a while, but wait'n see. Regards TB84

No. This is uwar grass especially added for the screenshot. Regards TB84

Thanks. Nordic islands, Maybe there would be a replacement version which could be released later. Yes, several changes have been carried out. Realistic weapons values. New sniper ironsights. Incorporated 2 new extra units : -Heavy Sniper OSV-96 -Su-27 Flanker. Default Grenade -> RGO Mi-28 -> Ka-50 (updated variant of the V-80 done 20 years ago). T-80 -> RHS T-80UM Vss Val -> Vss Vintorez and a few other things. Btw, some infos about the tracers incoporated in the European pack, in fact they won't be similar for all units in order to increase more the gameplay and the realism, so light machine guns tracers are different from tanks heavy machine guns ones, and SAM units tracers are specifical too. and the same goes for jet fighters. Best Regards Thunderbird84

No one has stolen your stuff. -> your debate was entirely imaginary cuz we never got a problem until you posted tonight. Everything was going very well and I think that's what's disturbing ya. You're a flamer, and there's a rule against flamers. I've 'civilly' and sincerely explained ya the concept of a total conversion mod, the reasons behind some of our methods. but you prefered to use 'sarcasm' way by spending my whole night on your case. In any way, best to ignore you until a moderator will check out the thread and its current status.

You are whinning since at least 5 or 6 hours...without real reasons, you're just inventing'em in order to feel yourself as 'offended'. playing a kind of imaginary lawyer who's deffending some imaginary rights that you're inventing, playing an imatture child... I voluntarily appologized in order to calm down the situation but seems you have even increased your sarcasm believing yourself a kinda 'winna'... I would like you stop that, I contacted moderators in order to avoid to see this thread locked at 2 days from the last release. I never came to waste any of your topics, I ask you to do the same...
-
You have yours, I have mine, mine seem to satisfie people around, and to satisfie all those great people from the community who built ffur, nobody complained about'em until now, unlike that, some of them even supported us and are still supporting us. Dude listen carefully, instead of playing frustrated bull.... because we used your lynx even if Colonel klink did the most of job and even if we got the permission to use it. I decided to withdraw it in order you will stop whinning and stop killing this thread. I'll stop the upload the FFUR European Crisis and will entirely remake the installer, just in order to avoid seeing you complaining and wasting everything around by your arguments without any sense.

Stop making us look bad by indirectly accusing us of 'direspectful stealers', we respect addon makers, we always gave'em full credits but I think you still don't understand or you prefer to not understand it. You're acting as you're believing yourself higher than everyone here, who are you to judge people? judge yourself first before judging others. Yeah I did a mistake because both mods of both countries are working on the same theme, but I apologized for it anyway, what else should I do? were you expecting I'll get lynched or shot? aren't you talking about yourself? Dude, My rights are like yours, like everyone here. You really should take a break. Mouthpiece role is too tiring/ Knew people more talented but thousand times more friendly and more modest. Edited /spelling typos

Dude, listen, this debate should end on this topic, and stop claiming yourself 'mister I know everything'... if you wish to continue it then do it by pm. I know Y2K3 and EECP very well as I worked with pappy at several times, and have even been an EECP beta tester a while ago (before to build FFUR). Merry christmas again and take a break, you really need it.
-
I think this debate should end in this topic, and as reported more than once, all people being involved in FFUR by their work are or will be kindly thanked for supplying their talent. The cooperation would have been better if some people would have never taken part in this topic, or if they would have done it more kindly. Rokosfl, as far as I know, we don't use any of your 'RKSL' addons and you aren't a current member of Falklands mod team. CBFASI and I found a suitable aggreement about the Lynx, though. I regret if some people sensitivities have been hurt because of of the fact that we usually use addons first before crediting people for their original work, but I repeat again, this is a common method used by total conversion mods such as EECP, Y2K3, etc since a while... and this is so far the best method to work the most efficiently, try to understand that, or maybe you will understand it when you'll get the FFUR European Crisis pack. (Had to withdraw some aspects of 'social life' routine in order to accomplish it in less than 5 weeks). In any way, this is the last release we'll do for ofp. we will re think our methods and go for the alternatives that might be more convenent and far more effecient in order to avoid such situations in the future. Merry christmas all. Best Regards Thunderbird84

Being with a logical and realistic mind, you have to know that no Total conversion mod would exist if all addon makers would be thinking like you. We respect mod makers, we respect addon makers, we have a close cooperation with a lot of them. If you consider that we're disrespectful then the same should go for all total conversion mods. Your opinions are your own, no one has elected you as the mouthpiece of the community, I mean this in the nicest possible way. Please don't cast apsersions on us by accusing us of misusing addons, any addon maker who doesn't want his work involved in the project is fully aware that I can be contacted by email and will comply out of the sense of respect and community which forms the basis of the whole project. Regards Thunderbird84

As explained more than once, requesting and waiting for permissions usually delays the whole project, and that is why we decided to proceed on other ways to gain more time. (And all total conversion mods (Y2K3, EECP...) more or less followed the same way). And I repeat again, this is absolutely not a sign of disrespect towards your efforts or your team, unlike that, it's a great opportunity to use the addons made by the community for a nice purpose. So rather than letting'em to age and to be lost in archives, we prefer to giv'em a new blow. Plus we never modified any addon without permission, we don't claim ourselves behind any addon, (except those we modifie with the permission of their original authors), we always give full credits to people involved in FFUR by their great stuff, it sometimes happens that we forget to add some authors to the list of credits but we immediately fix the problem once being reported. And as I've already reported you by pm, some people even kindly accept to help us by allowing us the use of some of their still unreleased or exclusive addons. And until now, we never had any problem with and mod and with any mod maker for such reasons. Regards Thunderbird84

Bigger than this one? Ok, will increase their accuracy a bit more. Same here, have to work hard in order to get such a toy. Definitely, All FFUR packs have been carried out on a 1.46 Ghz, 448 SDRAM, Geforce 5700, 30 GB and I've in my folder 6 mods packs (guess'em :-p), everything work as it should so far. Regards TB84
-
It has been decreased for AT and Law soldiers as suggested a while ago. regards TB84
-
The mp config (especially intended to dedicated servers) should be very light, even for comps lower than 1.5ghz. regards TB84
-
There would be a few changes in resistance squads as well. Regards TB84

Increasing the power of satchel charges might break some of BIS missions and I think interest would be lost if one sachel would entirely eradicate a MBT platoon. Maybe we'll combine WGL island textures with BIS Resistance trees for the FFUR Islands Low pack, then we will use this one as High islands pack. I think it would come later, though. Did a mistake, it is replaced by the wah-64D. The Tornado is already used instead of the A10 by the RAF. hm...will check it out. Back to work, seems we even haven't started uploading yet the pack...heh regards TB84
