    Hi, No worries, just getting a little busy with some real-life occupations, otherwise everything's Ok! Anyways, as previously stated, the patch is almost done and several replacements and enhancements have been carried out, 1 or 2 addons are still required to accomplish it entirely. Meanwhile, a very detailed list of improvements will be published soon. USS Alabama Main Track (By Hanz Zimmer). As previously mentioned, this effect will be redefined to make the island textures as they were. Indeed, but this needs a specifical scripting architecture that might require a lot of time of work. Anyways, the turrets 'blowing-off' script has been randomized for the next incoming patch. We will try to make all tanks ammunitions the most authentic possible with OFP realism guru (King Homer) support. :-) Best Regards Thunderbird84

    Hi folks, Indeed. I'm afraid this would not be possible because of some real life duties... As previously stated, most of 'Rock' songs that have been incorporated will be removed because they don't fit at all with BIS missions. Only 'Instrumental' tracks will be kept available, and more than 80% of them have been carried out by 'Hanz Zimmer'. Anyways, due to the fact that several people usually ask about the tracks that have been included to FFUR packs, a list of songs will be added to the next readme. Regards Thunderbird84

    Sorry, it sometimes happen that I miss one or two questions... Indeed. I don't see anything against the current comp and it looks more 'Military' than the FFUR Euro one. :-p There's nothing one can do as long as 'extra' weapons are derived from BIS weapons classes. e.g : If an extra M14 would be derived from the M21 class then it would be having the same values, and in FFUR 2006, the M21 is replaced by the M24 which has 5 bullets, so the M14 would automatically be getting 5 bullets as well, as long as the M14 would not have its own 'magazines' line.     FFUR - Huge Release !!

    Hi everybody, This would be included to the next patch. This has been taken out because you were able to clean a whole village with a M203, but as people requested, it would be added as well. As previously stated, the sounds will be updated and several new Heavy impacts SFX would be incorporated. We envisage including KH/InQ Abrams 3.1, RHS incoming Mi-24 and probably some SJB upcoming weapons pack too. If 1 of these packs would take a while then the patch would be released without these addons to allow people playing without getting the CTD issue and a secondary patch would probably be published in order to include these addons once they're released. If there's no way to replace the sand bag by a lower one then the Dshk would be put back again. The reasons behind the withdrawal of these features are quite large (some of them were causing CTDs, some others were behind all error messages, and several others have been removed because of people requests...) All errors and bugs reported thus far have been fixed, we're currently polishing some details with the hope to see some RHS or SJB addons getting released. The FFUR 1985 pack would be entirely reworked, the same as with the FFUR 2006, several features and enhancements are envisaged. This script sounds interesting, but it has been especially done for mission makers because it requires 'invisible' targets. One of the major features of this pack is that it allows you using it with extra 'addons'. You can do that as long as this pack doesn't have a 'main' config, (SFP, BAS, DMA, BOH... can be used with FFUR without any problem because they don't have any 'main' config unlike FDF, Y2K3 or EECP). As said above, a complete list of 'Classes names' and 'Scripts' will be included to the incoming readme. Btw, Another minor update of the US soldier: *Addition of a second backpack to some of the US Army personnel, now 2 Backpacks are available. 1st Backpack 2nd Backpack Cheers to offtime for his 3D backpack.     Hi, The current Rock songs will be replaced by 'Instrumental' ones because they sometimes don't fit with some OFP Default missions. The songs selection list will be posted soon. Btw, as previously stated, several sounds have been updated and we included ~20 different new 'Explosions/Impacts' Sounds Fx (Mainly extracted from various RPG) that would make combats more immersive.     FFUR - Huge Release !!

    Hi, Thanks everyone for the kind words, 'Glad you appreciate the updated woodland Units. There's 1 reason behind all CTDs that occurred in game, and We are definitely sure about that. (Death anims) -> \ffur_effects\tank\boom.sqs And the 'wreck models' are defined in the ffur_effects\cpp The M4 reflex is still used by US Army personnel, and the Eotech is mostly used by 'Pilots' and by some specifical 'Special forces' units. We envisage updating several sounds, especially 'Light Machine guns' ones and Impacts SFX. Actually, the SMAW is exclusively in use in the US Marines Corps but during Desert Storm, 150 launchers and 5,000 rockets were provided to the U.S. Army. Since then, the Army has shown increased interest in the system. Because they already have 'Attached' NVG that can be used even if they don't carry BIS 'classical' NVG, But we expect to take one of the two out of the helmet. FFUR 2006 AI can engage every plane/chopper flying low with machine guns or with rocket launchers, there's no necessary need of using SAM weapons anymore. I would see what I can do about that. This is not really required as long as one can increase the quantity of M24 ammunition. I suggest you to avoid including these 'Death anims' because of the CTDs they cause in game, plus, it's quite long to remove'em due to the fact they replace much of default cfgmoves values. These packs are outdated, and we already know about all of their bugs because they have been reported more than once awhile ago, anyways; Desert and Winter packs would certainly be updated to 2006. Get a look at the previous pages (30/40 pages), a list of all songs that have been included to the FFUR 2006 was published a while ago. During missions, all units will probably need 'Backpacks' to carry 'several supplies'. Medics also have an additional pack that contains first-aid things like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol...etc Indeed, sounds good to me, but 'have to test it first. Regards Thunderbird84

    I don't support the idea of including several alternative configs, this will get people confused, but as previously stated, the 'ground reflection effect' would be decreased. Almost all models hands that are used in FFUR are quite decent, and the addition of Llauma heads won't be possible due to the lack of faces and because of some errors that occur with the script once these faces/Heads are used in missions as well. Well, due to the huge lack of 'ACU Armored crews' pictures, I think we can allow ourselves to increase the 'Body armors' variety in game, plus most of them are more or less visually similar. ;-) Regards Thunderbird84

    Hi, As reported yesterday, here is the update of the US Armored Crews. BDU Camo: ACU Camo: Thanks to CBT for the basic p3d and additional thanks to Canadian terror for collecting a bunch of helpful photos. As stated a few days ago, AI daytime visual range and accuracy will be decreased a bit, but they will still be hard to spot'n to kill. Indeed, some minor improvements could probably be done to make the colors more authentic. They were responsible for the CTDs that several people have experienced. As far as I know, ORCS Animations makers expect to update'em. Not yet, but we will let democracy decide on that, a poll will be established soon. This is envisaged for the next incoming days. In real life, Armored vehicles do not explode in all cases, they would frequently catch fire especially if they are hit by 'Low range' rockets. A movie showing some light armored vehicles burning after getting hit by an AT-4 has been published a couple of days ago in the FFUR thread. We will probably release'em as standalone once all packs are updated. STGN has provided us the basic pattern a while ago, that I used in order to retexture the US Army personnel.     Thanks, glad you like'em. Heh, sure. This is due to the fact that FFUR M203 values are customized, but we would try to figure out this problem. We are working on the Multiplayer aspect in order to make FFUR smoother online, and now we have the opportunity to carry out intensive tests online, thanks to SWAF guys for their kindness, though. It is envisaged to include a detailed 'Readme' about the 'Multiplayer side' as well. This would hopefully be implemented to the next incoming FFUR 2006 patch. Btw, we expect to include several new additions in order to make the US/Russian armies more 'complete', probably by increasing the vehicles and aircrafts variety in game. Maybe with the addition of some 'Artillery' units, as well. And with the cooperation of some skilled people of the community, we hope to increase the realism aspect of the FFUR 2006 pack.     Actually that's just a static anim, but we'd try to incorporate it as an 'Default' stand anim. We've taken them out of the pack because they cause CTDs even in single game, but I'm trying to include'em as replacements instead of BIS death anims and not only as additions.     The pattern isn't DLEM one, it probably looks similar because I based myself on his, but if you look closer, you will notice that it's still that one we used for the FFUR 2006, I just compressed our pattern size and inverted the main texture vertical axis in order to make it more or less similar to DLEMs which was in my opinion, more authentic than ours. People who follow FFUR since a while know that I/we usually credit people for their hard work if their stuff is used in FFUR. Anyways, here are some shots of the final version.
