The incoming FFUR 2006 will include a combo of these animations with a bunch of new death anims. Very nice work, though, dunno when would these animations be considered completely achieved by their skilled author ... ;-) Regards Thunderbird84

Hi folks, My apologies for the long delay but I didn't get the opportunity to access to the net during the last 2 weeks because of some real life duties. Though, the patch (that would probably turn to a full pack...) is totally accomplished and will be tested a last time by our skilled beta-testers in order to make sure that everything work as it should. I will try to provide a full list of enhancements and improvements that have been done since the last release (maybe with some media files as well) within the next incoming hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Best Regards Thunderbird84

Hi, Not the right one, that's another video that has been done with the old FFUR 2005. the FFUR 2006 movie will be published at the same time than the patch. As previously stated, actually we are completely focused on the FFUR 2006 and can't provide any information about the rest of packs. Anyway, the patch would hopefully be released within the next incoming days, stay tuned. Regards Thunderbird84

Honestly, I think that we simply played better... And I hope we would do the same against portugal tonight, I'm afraid it's gonna be harder than against Spain or Brazil because of the way portugues play football and their determination to win, but we can do it and we would hopefully avenge our british and oranjes friends. Support us everyone! Go Zidane! Go France! Regards Thunderbird84

Hi everyone, The lack of informations is due to the fact that we're working very hard these days on enhancing various things (Not that easy with the world cup events, though), all I can say right now is that the release's close and it would hopefully include a little present... The media files will be published at the same time than the release and there would hopefully be a new thread for the new update. (Maybe a Full FFUR 2006 1.0 as well). Thank you for your patience, and thrust me, none of the packs carried out thus far has been subjected to such a degree of scrutiny and interest. Heh, Thank you for your kindness! Regards Thunderbird84

That's a little 'too' exagerated in my judgement, Thierry Henry's a grand man, a great player, one of the most efficient strikers of the world and it happens even to the best players, committing such stupid errors, probably caused by the stress of the match but we have to keep in mind that the error's human, we should forgive him as long as that wouldn't happen again, though. But there has been much worst that have happened during this WC, just get a look at the match Holland - Portugal... And the spanish booed and whistled during the french anthem and that was a first at the World Cup 2006... Such situations shouldn't happen again. As previously stated: Football is a game..., a game with respect, a game deeply loved by millions. Regards Thunderbird84

Go France Go! Congratulations Zidane, Riberry and all others! Well done folks! Time comes to make brazilians remember 1998... Regards Thunderbird84

I disagree, several matches were great, I would say almost all of them were very good, maybe some of them sounded a bit boring, but you have to know that these players are human and they are affected by the heat, especially when they play at 5:00 PM. If you watch carefully the difference between matches that are played at 9:00 PM and those played at 5:00, you would notice that those 9:00 PM matches are more spectacular, and less boring than 5:00 PM ones. Concerning the match between Italy and Australia, I think that both of them played very well, they defended quite well and they did their best, even if the red card wasn't deserved, and the same goes to the penalty, but italians held very well against aussies and they deserve to get further. Regards Thunderbird84

No worries, only some drop commands have been reworked without any 'specific' additions so it would work as the FFUR euro explosion fx which was quite popular because of the lack of lag in game during huge battles. Moreover, this script has been randomized, so you would still get the 'turrets blowing off' Fx anyway. ;-) Keep patient, the release's getting close every day. Regards Thunderbird84

Hi, As previously promised, the MBTs Explosion Fx has finally been finalized: Movie - 30 seconds [*]Increased the level of the shockwave. [*]Increased the level of the dust. [*]Adjusted the explosion Fx colors (By taking out the ugly yellowish mushroom). [*]The smoke gets dense and thicker every second. I hope you would appreciate more the updated version. :-) The sounds are located in 'Addons\ffur_sound' & 'Dta\sound.pbo', a minimal 'cpp'knowledge is necessary to merely take'em out of the folders and to implement'em to your custom config. (This way isn't needed for the Dta\sound.pbo because it's already defined in the defaut config). As far as I know, people might be able to carry out such features themselves quite easily once the uncondensed version of ECP's released. Once again, cheers for the kind words. Regards Thunderbird84

I can't believe that such skilled players allow themselves to play like that, probably one of the worst match played thus far because of the huge lack of 'fairplay' from Holland and Portugal, there are at least 10 cards for both sides (including 3 red cards)... shame because both teams play very well. Regards Thunderbird84

Hi folks, After a couple of hours of work, I'm glad to show you a beta of the new MBTs explosion Fx that will be included to the next incoming patch. As you would notice, the level of Dust & Smoke has been increased (during the impact) in order to make the Fx closer to real life explosions that you usually see in Military documentaries and movies. This script has been inspired from WGL tanks effects which are in my judgement, the most realistic ones carried out thus far. I hope you would appreciate it, (It still needs several enhancements, though.[that would hopefully be done shortly]). Movie - 15 seconds Please don't download the previous packs, they are outdated and they need some serious updates. (FFUR 1985 [woodland, Desert & Winter], the same goes to the FFUR Asia as well. Anyway, they will be removed from our website as soon as it gets updated with some news. CSLA Choppers fit very well because the models have less polys than BAS ones and they look good as well. Several additions have already been carried out, but as already said, one of the most important points of the FFUR 2006 is that you can use 'Extra' (Addons, Islands or light mods like [sFP, BAS...etc]) with the FFUR 2006 without experiencing any major issues in game. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Regards Thunderbird84

Quantum: First, you have to know that the ammunition values have been reworked since several people have reported that they were against the fact that several bullets were needed to take out a 'human', these values were based on WGL ones, though. Secondly, as previously stated (more than once), we try to balance realism and gameplay in order to avoid breaking BIS missions, that's why several lines in the cfgammo have been modified. (as you reported). Thirdly, if you get a look at the previous pages, you would notice various informations about the enhancements and the improvements that have been carried out since the last release. Moreover, we are working very hard with a close cooperation with a bunch of skilled 'Realism-maniacs' beta-testers in order to increase the level of the realism but by establishing some limits to avoid breaking BIS story lines. Negative, the way the scripts have been implemented to the Eventhandlers is wanted in order to allow us removing'em fairly easily if necessary. Heh, Best to ignore such comments because you seem having no clue about the work that has been carried out even with the lack of time that several of us do experience, we have real life occupations as well. And if you dislike that much our way of work, then there would be nothing I could do to make you 'happy', feel free to use any other mod you want or just go ahead, and make yours. Please get a look at the previous pages, all of 'bugs, errors...' etc have been reported more than once, and as already said, the next patch would hopefully fix all of them. Regards Thunderbird84

Huge lack of credibility. ... Why so much of hatred? Fortunately, you don't represent the israeli mentality and the jew culture at all. Regards Thunderbird84

The Tunguska has been discussed many times a while ago, please get a look at the previous pages to avoid asking the same question several times. And as already said, more detailed informations and media files will be available as soon as the patch would be totally complete. Regards, Thunderbird84

Hi, I admit that some of 'FlashFx' effects aren't that realistic and they tend to cause various lag issues when they are used with extra 'scripts', but as stated more than once in the past, almost all 'FlashFx' scripts and cfgcloudlets have been taken out or completely reworked, especially for the last FFUR Packs (FFUR 2006 and FFUR Euro) as you probably have already noticed. WGL5 Tank explosion effects are amazing and they are probably the most realistic ones carried out thus far, because they simulate very well the combination between 'Dust & smoke', even with the little lack of 'flames'. Actually, we are working on combining these Fx in order to grab a balanced and realistic tank's explosion script, but by keeping the 'turrets blowing off' script random, though. More informations and screenshots will be available soon. They cause lag when they are used as 'Standalone' instead of BIS models without being 'cleaned', and the 'Light config' that only changes models work very well on 'low' systems. Anyway, as previously reported, the FFUR 2006 patch would enhance a lot the realism aspect as it would enhance the gameplay as well. Thanks for the kind words everyone, btw. Regards Thunderbird84

Not that sure, everyone was expecting that Ghana will lose against the powerful czech team (2nd Best team of the world according to FIFA's ranking system), but they won, not with 1 but with 2 goals, and they even allowed themselves to miss a Penalty... It's sure that the brazilian team isn't the czech one (:-p), but Aussies showed how good they can be. Regards Thunderbird84

France - South Korea tonight (9:00 PM Paris/Berlin time). The match that shouldn't be missed at any cost. Hope we would do better than the last time, I bet France will win 2-0... Regards Thunderbird84

Hi, The patch is complete and almost all promised improvements and enhancements have been implemented, and we think that the 'Loadout/Vehicle' choices we've added fit very well and that they are authentic, even if a few minor details still need to be updated. As previously stated, all bugs, errors and CTDs have been fixed and several skilled beta testers are carrying out intensive tests in order to make sure everything is working as it should. I will publish shortly a detailed list of all improvements and changes, hopefully with some media files as well. The multiplayer aspect hasen't been ignored, though: the CTD that was causing a lot of trouble online has been rectified. The Default config we will include in FFUR 2006 is useable online (on dedicated servers). Moreover, as reported, several configs will be available to allow you choosing between ACU & BDU default US Soldiers with the possibility to play with them online as well. Concerning the Mi-24, Shadow Nx and a few other skilled people from RHS informed us that it's almost finished, but we would prefer to incorporate it with a second patch that will closely follow this one, and we will release the second patch once the RHS team consider their Hind totally complete. We would like to thank them for their ongoing support and help. Anyway, I'd like to inform you that none of the FFUR packs we've made thus far reach the quality, authenticity and realism of the current FFUR 2006 pack we are working on, and though there are still a few things that could be enhanced, we will do our best to satisfy you once again. Thank you for your patience. Best Regards, Thunderbird84

Great match, wasn't expecting such a game from US, they even scored a second goal (Beasley) that has been cancelled. And Ghana did a great job as well, 'looking forward the match between USA & Ghana. Regards Thunderbird84

Glad to see the first african team beating a big team like the czech one, 'Hope they will beat the USA within the next incoming days too. :-D Edit: Great first half between US and italians, americans are doing very well thus far... Regards Thunderbird84

The retex's very well done, and the 'folds' effect is quite well represented, but as previously stated, the color should be enhanced a bit. G'luck. Regards Thnderbird84
