    yeah man that looks amazing! only suggestion to give it that finished look(kinda ironic)....is that, add rust and grim/use to the rest of the ship(most of the rust is found on the lower half closer to the water!) as iv been stairing at a photo of a nimitz carrier angled the same way as you last pic, and one sort of the same angle as your 3rd pic! because iv never seen them up close in RL, dont take what i suggest as a for sure accurate feature! its only a personal suggestion based only off a few photos i looked at! good day and thanks for all your hard work this is a much appreciated addon, so good luck!

    sounds good anders..litterally, now enjoy your pint your definitly earned it! btw if you dont mind me asking did you personally record the M4A1/A3 sounds that you used for this amazing sound mod? reason i ask is they sound way to real to be one of them edited sounds or however some sounds are made (dont really know too much about making/editing sounds for addons), because from what i remember my M4 sounded like, your mod is pretty accurate! anyways thanks for the hard work, hope to see more from ya in the future!

    hahaha...yeah thats funny! and Tromac you make great addons right? how bout you try to do us the honor of doing the f-18? and iv seen the progress of the f-18 that my buddy crash(and Wld) is doing and it has come along..long way! and tell me how far have you gotten with it? and i my self have tried to help my buds with this project and cant do nothing with it! so by all means if you have any input, help us out instead of posting non-sence or trying to start some drama!

  8. yeah this map is great..while staring at them pics i tired so hard to figure what it reminded me of lol...and dang nab-it....it was rogue spear..loved that game! and now all we need is OA versions of rockets snow troops from the USEC Mod from arma1! i even liked that camo...was that by any chance the newer usmc snow camo? i dont remeber them perfectly but they seemed to have some sorta dig. camo pattern..or atleast the colors used matched that of the usmc's new snow camo uniforms! but anyways Rocket..amazing work buddy! thanks alot Dave,

  11. that type of stuff is kinda what im looking for, that random raido chatter between units over the net! however it would be nice to have it so it adds the sounds of the radio to AI units so it gets rid of that horrible Standerd radio beep and whatnot! second problem is that while i have nothing agenst ACE Mod(its actually a great mod) however i dont like to have large game-changing mod installed as i like to use what i want and not have to edit or remove\add addons to just play a mission, or even for shitting around in the editor! But..OT i do appreciate your hard work for both this mod and ACE Mod! and i do appreciate you taking the time to comment on my post! if i ever get a microphone, and time to go online using it, i will more then happy to jumb online and play with hopefully both theses mods! however if you do get a chance or have any interest in trying what i suggested(doubt you do as your plates already full lol) it would be nice to see something come up for this..or even make the ACE radio chatter stuff standalone!     yes, animated doors would be amazing, i loved them so much in Arma1, also i know this may be a bit out there but anyway to have a script built in to your alsome addon, so that we can manually load in ammoboxes, road cones, ect. so that we can have a realistic way of transporting stuff we need(like in VBS2..that RoadBlock Vid), but without having to dl dependent scripts to use on missions, in which some may not wish to DL for a mission! cause i myself along with many others are not big on DL'ing many addon dependency Missions!   14. hello guys, iv been keeping an eye on this mod and watching tons of vids of the A.C.R.E. mod on youtube! and i very much enjoy hearing the amazing work put into this mod, but i do not play much MP, not that i dont choose too but mostly becuase i dont have enough free time to get too in depth with a clan\group! however i plan on starting my own personal clan so as i can play when i can, but also so others are free to use my stuff(server? sorry dont know jack about MP\Online stuff)! but this may not happen anytime soon, cause it seems i spend most of my time working , to well...just to keep working lol(some ppl may understand what i mean)! and one thing that i remeber the most from being in the military is that very distintive sound of the radios(during raido chatter stuff like you see in movies and ect.) and so far this is the only mod that i heard(in Videos) that has this sound, now i cant describe the exact sound i mean(but anyone who was in the military will know) however my question is... anyway to make that sound work for AI(just give them that when they in hummers/vehicles)? also so that when playing in SP this mod can be enjoyed aswell! now im sure you guys dont have the time to create what im after, and im sure its probly a very complicated progress, cause iv tried to make this myself, but got lost pretty much before i even started lol! so please dont mind me asking that, i dont meam to bug you guys and so on so figured i should just atleast try to ask! goodday, Dave

  17. or you can do what i do to add to the realisim, and have an actual guy pop a smoke when the helo comes in for approach! that can be set up very easly without scripts, just using a few triggers and action commands! now im at work so i dont have the game in front of me, plus i have not done this in awhile but iirc... do it like this have a unit named man1(can be any name) on the roof or give him a way point to move to roof, then have a trigger set up inbetween the approaching helo and the man poping smoke(man1). just adjust the trigger to where you want the guy to pop smoke in relations to the approaching helo! usually in rl we would pop smoke before the helo is in sight, cause most time what happens is the helo will call in requesting smoke to be thrown, then the pilots will radio back the color of your smoke (like this, Pilot: approaching LZ...requesting smoke on your position, over. Soldier: roger popping smoke. Pilot: roger got eyes on green smoke over?) now thats not entirely accurate but its been awhile since iv seen it done in person! Next step, make sure the trigger between the helo and man1 is set to go off when the helo passes throw the trigger, or i guess if you want you can set it off by radio! and create a invisable marker at the location of where u want the smoke to be throw at lets just name it "SmokePos". finially, not too sure if this should go in the Onact of the trigger or in a way point of the unit(man1): man1 dotarget "SmokePos"; man1 dofire "smokeshellredmuzzle"; this should work, i have done this all the time before and should work on a roof as iv done that too(not tested on the vila roof tho)! ill check back later and if it doesnt work ill up load and very small and easy to use demo mission, and no scripts needed but a maker and trigger(you may not even need to use the command to make him target the marker, it may work with just the doFire command!) EDIT: oh and i also love to incorporate the unit(man1) doing the "guiding helo animations" aka "Helo Landing dance" lol used to guide a helo into position! if you are intrested in that but need help on how to do that let me know ill try to explain or wait till i send and uploaded demo mission on here to help ya! goodluck Dave,

    very nice this is coming in handy for me, but any chance to have a butten to beable to select all weapons from a specific facton(like all blufor rifles, or opfor sidearms)? cause clicking on 75-80% of them is getting annoying lol!

    well first your you need to open the pbo file and exstract the textures and model then create a empty file and paste the textures and model into that new folder then for any locked model(which all a2\oa models are) you are going to need a program to edit the texture paths, to make the textures you have re-textured... load into the model you pasted into your new folder. for that i would use this http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm then for me after i figure out what textures i need, then hex-edit them to the new model and set that new folder up to match the new texture paths, i would then work on actually texturing the textures you need and how you want them(in your case, you want then black instead of camo\tan). for that you can use photoshop or any other program that supports arma2 textures. then you need to create or edit a already made configuration file(config.cpp) to make your new addon work ingame, but im not too strong in the configuration department, but its best to use the exsisting config file for the hmmwv(you need to unlock that too in this case, just DL the bis tools..it contains the need program). then convert the folder to a pbo file(again thats too is in the bis tools pack). then place ingame and your good to go! but im not too good at explaining things so im sure i probly made you more confused as to what you need and what you need to do, so im sure someone can explain better, plus im very tired lol...just figured i'd put my 2cents in! good luck and if you got questions ill try my best to help you figure it out!     oh damn the M-ATV...lol i forgot about that lmao! yeah in that case goodbye M1151 and hello sexy M-ATV! btw i didnt mean ur M1151 is not good enough or even that its no good...just simply i was saying it would be cool to have the OA model(cause iirc the model is set up and built better then the a1 model) so yours is beautiful, im just saying yours is so good that it would be good if bis lets u use the OA model as a base, cause your model from the limited time i was in the m1151 hummers, i believe your model is very acurate, but kkep in mind we mostly used the un-armored hummers while back here in the states, plus i never got deployed to iraq and a-stan(thank god lol), so i cant tell you how acurate they are(plus when i was in a m1151 i could have cared less how it looked inside at that time lmao)! but no im sorry i think i just wrote what i meant the wrong way...cause i love your hummers alot, so what i realy meant was from what i heard the oa model is of better quality then the a1 model(not saying the oa model is more quality then yours), just that the oa model as a "Base" is better then the a1 model as a "Base", and since you pretty much re-done the a1 models it would be cool if you do the same but on the base of a oa hmmwv model! again sorry didnt mean anything negative at all, infact it was oposite, your work is very amazing!
