I wouldnt be surprised if this turns out to be controversial in the end,
being authentic and all. There is always someone that gets offended.
It's perfectly understandable if people find it offensive. WW2 wasn't just another war and atrocities committed by the Heer and other regular forces (who I assume you will be apart of during the campaign) are well documented, especially with regards to the Eastern Front. It doesn't really bother me personally, but it's easy to see why many people would be offended. I guess it depends on the way the campaign turns out.

Considering the US is a big market and is the only superpower in the world projecting its force in every part of the globe and thus highly likely to be the first in a conflict it's logical to have the game focused around their armed forces. Plus, if you really want to see it from a Russian perspective I have two words for you: mission editor.

Works flawlessly for me. 16:10, 1680x1050. No egg shapes, but some addons don't have widescreen support(UKF weapons) so you can see through the ironsights at the edges, if it uses an image instead of a 3d ironsight.I think one of the UKF members released a little fix for that.

Excellent pack! Resurrected a couple missions I was making with the last version, really enjoying it. One thing I have noticed is the armour of the 1A4. I don't know how good a tank it is but it can only take 1 hit from a T72 and the crew bail. While it seems to take more than one hit from a 1A4 to knock out a T72. Surely the 1A4 is more than capable of going toe to toe with a T72? It would be better if it was able to take a hit or two without the crew bailing.actually T-72 was invented to bounce 105mm(none DU) shells...
cmon people, you really think first leos could have a chance against "the satan's tank"(pro western propaganda from "top ten tanks" showed on discovery channel)?
I thought it was invented to fight. Â
My question is game play oriented. Not something for armchair experts to chew over. Such stuff can be done in the OT section.
Anyway, back to my post above. I want to add that the T72s were advancing in front of cover of trees so I don't know of all of the shots hit. Mainly, I think it would be better if the Leo could take at least 1 shot before the crew bails.

While doing some editing stuff in my mission I noticed that I can hear the SD weapon being fired from the checkpoint. I don't know if it registered with the AI.
