Thunderbird84, the creator of this pack, has stated that some addons may not work with the mod and that's something you will have to put up with. Sorry. You could have a go yourself to fix the addon to work with the mod though.

The image flickers on and off and the power indicator on the monitor but the two are never in sync. The image will flicker on then off and once it goes on again the power indicator will flicker on and off. Whenever I switch on the monitor itself it starts blinking on and off. I'm not sure whats worng with it. As I stated in my above post the computer store tested it with my computer tower and they said it worked fine. Maybe they just got lucky.

Hey. A couple of weeks ago my flatscreen Compaq FP 5315 monitor started blinking on and off. I switched the cables on the flatscreen with the ones from my old monitor and the screen still blinked on and off. So I put it to a local computer store for them to have a look at. They said it worked fine even when using my computer tower. I changed the adapter the computer plugs were into and it worked although it did start blinking on and off when I first fired up the computer. I switched my computer off and then on and it started blinking again. I then switched mains sockets and it was still blinking on and off. So I thought to myself that if the computer store said it was working fine with and without my own computer tower I began removing the peripharels one by one. Removed the printer, still blinking. Removed the DSl and it still blinked on and off. Removed mouse and it blinked on and off then stayed on once the Windows XP log on screen appeared with the various user profiles. I then removed the old keyboard I had plugged in and it worked, I switched it on and off 3 times and it worked each time. As a result I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse. Plugged the wireless mouse and keyboard in last night and it still blinked on and off. Restarted the computer and it worked fine, restarted it two more times and each time worked successfuly. Now I switch it on this morning and it started blinking on and off again. Restarted the computer 5 times and it was still doing it. Can anyone shed some light on what is going on here? I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with the damn thing and I'm now very close to smashing up the entire computer with my baseball bat.

I may have included the patch or patched it when I uploaded the mod to ofpfiles. Sometimes I do this, try my link on the previous page.

You can replace everything you need from Res\dta\data3d.pbo, Like convert the HYK crews use a pbo converter, Then add the crew HYK on folder, Then you must change the crew name, Use the BIS crew name model, And Rename the HYK crew, Then use The Winpbo to replace the BIS ones. And other way, You can made it into the Res\bin\config, Just change that tank crew class name, For example M1A1. I hope you can understand, Because i don't undetstand what i'm say  . Thanks for the reply but that's not what I mean. What I'm talking about is the BIS vehicles that HYK uses in his config for his soldiers. It is those I want to replace.

How would I replace the BIS tanks that Hyk's used for his addons? I want to replace them with better community made ones. I don't know a lot about configs so when I de-PBO'd the addon I couldn't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

First of all what are you talking about? Computers? He is making a WW2 mod. Secondly Invasion 44 released their Oosterbeek mod and Lib 41-45 have done several releases and their still working on flashpoint.

I remember a quite a while ago seeing an unreleased Stryker in the OFP Combat photography thread. But be warned I'm not 100% sure on this.

Well I still play both and would be happy if you continued this for OFP. I mean you might as well finish it for OFP and then transfer it to ArmA. Not to mention the fact that OFP has lots of mods/addons suited to your campaign and ArmA hasn't.

Thanks for all your advice, problem is I went away and got one, the Sony VAIO VGN FE41S. It has a pretty good spec and it's components are highly recommended in that guide you linked me to. Well it came with VISTA pre-installed and it does slow it down when playing games, I've been toying with the idea of uninstalling it and putting in XP SP2. That possible? Any good and clear gudies for that?

I'm going to buy a laptop for playing games, using iTunes/iPod, watching films and all that entertainment stuff. But as I don't know a great deal about them I thought I would ask for an opinion here. This Laptop is looking good to me Linky Anyone have anything similar? If so how good is it? Will it be able to play ArmA decently? Are there any better laptops out there that would suit my needs? Finally got some time to sit down and give this a decent try. Loving the mod so far, the main reason being that I've never seen or tried the forces represented in any way shape or form, so thanks for that. Been trying the demo missions included, loving the Beirut airport strike one in particular. Anyway the other missions are extremely laggy for me. I've lowered textures in OFP preferences from 2046 to 1024. Turned off AA, AF and VSYNC in my graphics card options and it still lags. I don't think my systems that bad: NVIDIA 7600GS 512MB, 1GB RAM, 2.66Ghz Intel Pentium 4. Do they lag on your computer? Any other way they will be able to play smoothly?

Looks good and extensive. I've never tried your mod before so downloading ASAP. This overwrites your preivious addon packs 1 and 2?
