I just have non rechargeable AA batteries. When the keyboard first got faulty I replaced the old batteries with ones of a different make (supposed to use batteries the same make). The keys still don't work even if I put the receiver right next to it. Looks like I'll have to dust the original keyboard off.

Thanks for the info ch_123. When I first heard of this thing I was pretty keen on it given laptops are not great for gaming - it had awesome potential. Good to know where my laptop's card stands (I just installed COD4 which it plays pretty damn well). Just recently I have had a problem with my desktops wireless keyboard. The problem being that one key doesn't work. Removing the batteries and putting them in again solves this but another key stops working after some time. Now another key has also stopped working. First it was the 1 key then I removed the batteries. Now it is the backspace key and the dash key to the left of the backspace. Any ideas?

    Operation Flashpoint 2 officially announced

No need to have a hissy fit. It's only a preview with some 'promises' which are useless in the world of business. As said in the preview they only have an early prototype so the game seem to be a while away. A lot of things COULD change in that space of time.

So they should have used the the original Skira terrain despite not being adequate for the GAMES* purposes? * Capitalised for emphasis

You got it wrong. The island the Chinese take is SKIRA. However the terrain at Skira was not good for the game so the used KISKA's terrain instead.

@froggyluv ArmA II's expected recommended system requirements is a quad core cpu and the minimal is dual core. Info @ ch_123 May I ask what your opinion of this is. I'm interested because I have a laptop, Â this one in fact. Do you think it will be beneficial for my laptop? It was rumoured that the graphics card is easy to change, any truth in that? Also, what do you think about my laptop? Particularly the graphics and CPU. I hope you do not mind me asking you these questions. You are way more in touch with CPU tech than I am.

Thanks for the advice ch_123. Given what you said I'll wait a while longer and save up more cash and get a new PC.

    Project: UK Forces

Thank you for the update. Models look top notch and the textures look pretty good even without all their bells and whistles. The MAN trucks came as a surprise to me. I never knew they were being used by the Army.

    Turkish Forces Mod v1.0

Awesome. You guys released some good quality stuff for Flashpoint so I'm looking forward to giving this a try. Cheers.
  15. Thanks again Zuku1. I have the Shackbattle file from the previous page which is called shackbattle_06_06_11 which is about 21 MB. However I do not have the ShackTac file you mentioned. What does it contain and where can I get it? ShackTac and Dsylecxi are still active as they were involved with testing ArmA patches. AFAIK ArmA sems to be there prime focus, could be wrong. You can find them here.
  16. Anybody know where I can get the two CTI addons listed here? Does the Shackbattle pack require any extra addons?
  17. Good news! PM me if you want the MP mission tested.

It's coming up for two years since I upgraded by steam powered AGP machine from: Radeon 9200 128MB 256MB RAM Intel P4 2.66GHz To Nvidia 7600GS 512MB 1GB RAM Processor still same as above I was going to purchase a new PC this but could not manage *cough* PS3 and GTAIV *cough* so instead I am going to do another upgrade with the money I have left. Now I am going to upgrade to 2GB RAM and a new GPU. Can any of you give me some recommendations for a new GPU for an AGP machine that will run ArmA smoothly at around normal to high settings? I was actually looking at this.

    Flashpoint Germany

The Falkland's units only fill a part of BAOR (British Army of the Rhine). The main thing being is that there is no armour addons with the Falkland's mod as BAOR had a lot of armoured units. More detailed info But vektorboson's is only one man doing this in his free time and appreciate what he is doing as of now.

What do you mean? You downloaded other patches? The only one you need is 1.46 if that is the gold edition you have which is v1.30 AFAIK.

Modern Combat - SLX Mod version 1.1

I know. I have read the first page where it also says he may still fix the mod up. Otherwise what you are saying is just speculation unless he told you himself.

    Operation Flashpoint 2 officially announced

If you check out OFP2.info there are a couple news posts from the community managers explaining why there are no screenshots. They think it would have a negative impact and when the time comes they will releasde a lot of information.
