You argue we are being brainwashed by the media, there's a world elite, things are planned for years and an obligatory mention of the CIA. First of all you don't provide any evidence for your claims whatsoever. Secondly, it's all very grandiose and all very simple with the media and "world elite" planning and running things for years, in secret, towards some sort of common goal. Needless to say it's a completely unrealistic and organisationally and logistically impossible. Basic conspiracy theory stuff.

They are throughout the thread - "media brainwashing you", "planned for years", "CIA", "world elite" and so on. My point is unrelated to the one you are making here. I was responding to claims that there's a desire to intervene which clashes with what's happening at the moment. Thus a military intervention by NATO is unlikely given the current circumstances: - Cutbacks in military spending in the nations of NATO that can project power overseas - The seriousness of the economic crisis has made it priority - Little support for another war after over a decade of it in the Middle East and Afghanistan - Re-focus of reduced US military and political assets to the Pacific region
-
With the current economic crisis, over a decade of war and current cutbacks there does not exist either the will or resources to "intervene" (whatever one means by that) and this is not taking into consideration the different geographical and political situation of Syria to that of Libya. The US military is scaling down and re-orienting itself to the Pacific region as its primary focus. The British military is about to go through another round of cuts that will effect all branches. The capabilities of the British military are less now compared to a year ago. I assume the French military is also going through cuts. I miss the days when this place was not filled with conspiracy theorists and you could actually learn something.

...and? I'd rather see stuff like this even if it's just over a *gasp* year old than the OT section remain conspiracy theory central.

Mention of a 3D Editor...

FYI, I updated the first post with the E3 and preview videos. I'll try and update as more things become available.

Technically, weren't those just corpses for the part of the campaign where US forces discover a massacre by SLA or RACS (I forget which)? Someone made them into zombies later on though IIRC.

The guy has to walk about that centre for the next 3 days with a camera stuck on his head being bombarded by thousands of requests and questions from loads of different people. He's there to see what they want to see, which is why he checked out BIS first. He's not there to field his questions but ours. Annoyingly, the submit question form was not working while he was with BIS and so we didn't get the presentation we wanted.
-
The negative waves man... Last years one was great but the question submission thing was down.

Quick! To the next camera!

Great stuff there RknHarry. I added those to the 'Historical Resources' topic in the IF forums. -

WW2 Infantry Tactics Best I could find. The 'Small Unit Formations' link takes you to what you need. The 'Combined arms operations' page is down, however, I found it archived here. I also found a bunch of WW2 US Army field manuals that cover tactics here. -

Some of the information here should be of use to you. -
Unless your Miami PD Internal Affairs I doubt you can make judgements on why the LEO fired.
-
I don't know about Miami but in the NYPD any shooting by a cop is investigated. Miami will probably have something similar and will see if the shooting was justified. The people there sure as hell know more about what went down than anybody here.

Then he adds: So there are no special changes of the physics in the engine like there is in the upcoming Arma 3. Which I understand as "there is no PhysX".
