  1. Hi fraczek, Thanks for bringing the issue to our attention, we've solved it in the meantime, and a fix will be in the next BETA build. The plugin should normally auto update itself, and only be for flash-plugin-based browsers; not IE or Chrome. We use some of the flash features on our site currently, but very sporadically. We'll look into dropping this for the future.
  2. Very close! A little bird chilped in my ears it can be any day now ;-)
  3. Added you as a contact, ready to receive
  4. Hi, the issue should be sorted in the latest build, deployed yesterday evening. Hope this helps!
  5. Thanks, the issue with not being able to change folders should be resolved in yesterdays deployed build. Will investigate the rest In PwS you build collections with as many mods as you like - just hit create collection, and then drag the stuff in there, or click the add to collection button. You can also share collections publically; http://play.withsix.com/arma-3/collections or unlisted, or even just private as a backup :) Still working hard on UI improvements :-)
  6. Thanks, Looking into the report. If you want to remove the objects, best to delete the whole .synq folder when the application is closed.
  7. Investigating! The way it works with settings is that on every update, we copy your previous setting file and tag it with the new version, so that you can always roll-back if desired, and that you will never loose settings when doing so, or moving forward and backward multiple times. Somehow there must either be an issue with importing the older settings, or there is a bug on some systems which takes the wrong version to import from. If you could please send your settings files and log files to support (at) withsix (dot) com we hope to figure things out quick, thanks!
  8. Much appreciated Harzach! Gratitude from the whole team! We hope not to disappoint :) And are looking into providing more and more frequent insight into our plans and progress. We're working on both accounts - space and UI :) Currently you can already specify how many versions to keep, but im not sure 0 actually means none are kept right now.. but 1 is at least better than 5 :) ---------- Post added at 03:29 ---------- Previous post was at 01:54 ---------- Almost forgot to mention, we've of course released new builds of the website and client :) http://withsix.com/changelog
  9. Read the full post at: withsix.com/blog/improve-your-experience-with-premium We're pleased to announce the release of our additional, premium services, which on top of all the free services and benefits you have become acustomed to from us for years, adds additional benefits, performance and features, and most importantly; helps us to sustain our service. As announced in our earlier blog posts; the-sonic-barrier, and level-up, cost has been an issue for us for quite some time; Bandwidth, servers, staff, and a lot of engineering, development, research and management; Alot of time, effort and investment went, and goes, into the platform. Our team, nearly 10 strong, has been tirelessly at work to give you easy and fast access to the latest and greatest of content, created by many great authors, while removing the hassle and cost involved for authors, communities and players alike. We want to expand and improve on our services, and of course to keep doing what we're doing; Provide the easiest and fastest access to large collections of mods in both Multiplayer and Singleplayer, for free, and therefore we need your help. Some of the things brewing in our dev-labs include giving authors full access and control to manage their content, and especially the metadata related to the mods. For players we are working hard on improving the usability, user experience, stability and performance of the platform. And these are but the tip of the iceberg in terms of what we have in store for you. We hope for your understanding and we are open to feedback and suggestions, as always. Yours faithfully

  11. Hi Max, Apologies, it was added with the best of intentions, but by accident ignored that you do not give permissions. We noticed and thought we had corrected the mistake earlier today but due to a failure in the system it was not removed from the website itself. I've made sure it has been removed now, and for the future we are working on a solution so that we cannot make this mistake again. Our apologies for violating your wishes.

    play withSix and awesomium

Regarding many awesomium processes; there should generally be no more than 2 and they should use very little memory and cpu. If you are seeing different numbers then generally something else is going on. Are you running any graphics related utilties (boosters, tweakers, etc)? The option to turn PwS off on launch of game is something that might provide a quick workaround indeed. Memory usage of Play is somewhat dynamic and depending on which features you access and how much memory you have free on your system. If you have a lot of memory, the .NET framework virtual machine will tend to hold on to memory to give a better experience when accessing different parts of the program. Generally it is bad practice to just free up memory only to use it again a second or minute later and has performance implications. That said, there is certainly room for further optimizations, and once we find an opportunity we will definitely look into it :) Regarding usability and general improvements - we're working on them :) For support you can always find us at http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?171722-Discover-Play-Promote-missions-and-mods-withSIX or http://withsix.com/support
  13. Hey Sniper! Sorry for the long wait. If you could send us your repo details to support (at) withsix (dot) com, then i'll take a quick peek to see what's going on and get back to you asap. Hmm, is it at installing pre-requisites, or even before that happens?Often the cause is third party software incompatibility, like some graphics related utility (tweaker/booster/etc), are you running any of that? any mods in particular? official network or custom repository?

  15. Hi, We've addressed a bunch of stuff in 1.52, hopefully this improves your experience already somewhat. Please let us know if there are any remaining issue sand we'll dive right in! :)
  16. Hey Ivan, Combiend Ops is listed as a separate game in the list of games, make sure to expand the 'Not installed' section if it is not auto-detected. To make CO work, either the games have to be merged, but this is not the case with Steam for instance, so in that case you need to make sure that you configure ARMA2 Original to the ARMA 2 folder, and ARMA 2 Combined Ops to the OA folder. Hope this helps!
  17. The AGS issue should be solved now.
