Yep. Its a fv1609 one of the 10 prototype Pigs bought for the RUC in 1958, they were uparmoured in 1960 to be more like the fv1611 mk2 pigs.

Yep its RUC, but not a landrover and the vehicle in the background is older than a ferret.

I think this was more historically correct than pearl harbour too... Was pretty cool to watch.

Quoted so you cant edit it. You know that guy in the first pic is probably in better shape than most people, its hard to tell because of the body armour and webbing...

I thought it was a great film, the action sequences were really well done. The cgi was very impressive too. It wasnt meant to be a 100% historical film and they never claimed it was, it was based of the graphic novel. The reason things were exaggerated was because it was told as a story by Dilios to encourage the soldiers of the full spartan army, thats why xerxes was so tall, etc.
