I'd love to see a new feature in the editor, which examines your pc spec, then translates that into a bar, as the user adds units, scripts etc, the bar fills up, indictating cpu load, this way you will be able to get a good judge of when to stop adding things to keep missions non-laggy.

you know... normal maps for 'even more real reality reinvented' or some such marketing ass speak. as you can clearly see by looking around you, everything is shiney, can't you see? new gfx technology will just show up poor artists more easily!

its mainly proportional issues... but yeah your right, shouldnt have to put up with that for too long... thats the best thing about ofp, even if the original art is a bit lame, you know that its going to be improved eventually, by the community.

jesus, I would have thought after all this time they would have got the hand of making a human look human, look at the shoulders, they way they hold the rifles, gaaahhh... mabye if we should club together and pay for bis to take some life drawing lessons. dont get me wrong, i love ofp, and im bound to buy the sequel, but come on guys the character badness in those shots, is obvious, its just basic anatomy! /rant mode off

Hi guys, I need some help finding detailed ww2 maps of the ardennes for a campaign and map that I am working on, featuring the battle of the bulge. I'm trying to source some reproduction or original maps of wartime (1930's-50's) Belgium, specifically of the Ardennes region ideally at large scales e.g. 1: 25,000. If you know where I could begin to look for one, please let me know. I can't seem to find anything via the Internet. I would be really grateful if anyone could help. If anyone owns a map of this kind and would be willing to scan parts of it, i would be very greatful... cheers .sub

this is a great mod, and many thanks for putting all the effort in, one thing though that is REALLY REALLY WRONG, and thats the re-positioning of the editor buttons, and gui buttons in general. Rule 1 of interface design = dont mess with users preconceptions of buttons. If for 4 years people have been used to having 'preview' in a certain place, NEVER move it somewhere else and put 'exit' min its place, people remember positions much more than names. I design and make front-end interfaces for a living in the games industry, so i feel kinda rightous about this issue ;) Please please please move the buttons back to their orginal layout, or at least the order in which they have been for so many years. As I said this is the only bad thing in this mod, everything else is truely brilliant. i hope you and all the others keep ofp alive and kicking for the next couple of years. cheers .sub

if your getting the memory error, add "-nomap" without the "" to your shortcut target.
