    Intro question...

    About making the "player" move.. I made myself as player, (mePlayer) and set up waypoints..and previewed the intro. and guess what. ..the player moved. But "mePlayer" didn't get into the car though, but he moved. And about the end1, the thing is that i have alot of triggers..and the character "mePlayer" follows a waypoint, and when he is at a distance, like walking into the sunset..then i want it to fade. But i can't get that ending since the player walks differently everytime i preview. sometimes he is still walking and walking. other times he has reached the destination. But i want it to end before the destination.

    OK,thanks. Just one more thing, What do i type in the "On Activation" to get a player to enter a car? That is the ending of my Intro. When the player enters the car and it drives away.. Actually the car stops in front of him, and he gets in..and it drives.. And that end1 sounds great, but i want the end to fade slowly out.. so is there a command i can type in a "trigger script? (sqs)

    Ok, pheew. lol I found out how to make the mission a intro. It was very very easy. lol. I just copied the "class mission" and put it in the "class intro" in the mission.sqm file. Why didn't i think of that before? I guess we all learn if we just try. But now as i have that fixed there is just one more question about intro's. How do i make it close and go to the mission?

    but then it wont be placed at the exact same position. i have alot of stuff in there and it takes forever too move them in position, lol. there are no other way? by the way, i tried to copy and paste. it doesn't work. it only works within the mission. paste in intro doesnt work.

    How do i do that? I don't have a intro file. Just the one called "mission". I made everything in the editor. No scripting.
  7. I have made a really cool intro with the "mission" selection checked, and now i'm wondering if it's possible to convert it or something to make it visible in the "Intro" in the mission editor? Or do i have to make EVERYTHING again to make it a intro?

    A few questions...

    RED, what i ment by cameraview scripts i ment scripts that contains camera views to put in a sqs file. (for intro) And about the Cool Editor.. It's called OFP Cool Editor. I found it on a Danish OFP site. The webpage is in danish so i dont think you understand what it says, but if you go to this link: Operation Flashpoint Danmark and go to Downloads. From there you click on Enheder and go to page 5. There it is. The editor is in english. The Cool Editor is for putting together campaigns and missions. And creates the sound files and everything in there. Also the description files. It has EVERYTHING. I made the intro in the mission section. Not in the Intro. I started the missions with a lot of waypoints and camera views. Does that have anything to say about putting in the code in a sqs file? The intro is like real ingame action so it doesnt dissapear when the mission starts. and i put a trigger on the car to activate it as soon as the mission started.
  9. I'm really new to editing, so i guess i have alot of questions..lol What i'm wondering about is: 1) how do i remove that gap between the trigger sets in and the cutscene starts? I know i have seen it posted here, but it didn't say how to enter it in the editor. (By this i mean the gap that shows player in the beginning of the intro) 2) I want the heli to come at my command to drop a ammocrate where i am. How do i do that? 3) Anyone have some nice cameraview scripts that i can get? 4) Does anyone have a tutorial on how to use "Cool Editor"? 5) I can't get the sitdown to work, he stands up after a few seconds. How do i change that? 6) Does add-on islands work in campaigns? Like new created islands? 7) Where can i find some good voice pack downloads? I can't remember more questions, but when i do i will let you know. lol Hope someone can answer my questions

    I got the picture to work with 256 x 128. but it was a little small i think. the original is a little bigger. So those 2 file sizes are the only options? You can't get it a little bigger?

    I tried to do what said in the script from the link above, it all got into the game, but i got a error with the picture size. I can try your way too. but for the pic size... if i make one in lets say 1024 just for an example. What do i then have to write in the field that i typed above? Â I haven't used those values before. And another thing. I want the logo to just look like the one in the resource. same sice. I have the picture, but i just need to resize it and stuff. It would be easyer if you could make that script for me. Cause now i really don't know what i'm doing.
