OK Im building a city block tile - 48 x 48m and have run into a problem. In O2 the model is above ground In Odol_Explorer the binarized model is above ground In WRPTool the model is underground. Hmm I have a cup of coffee sitting here on a DVD drive that used to be recognised as an optical drive not a DVD drive and that used to appear and more often never be recognised by my OS WinMe at that time. As it came on a PC that was preloaded with HUGE amounts of nonsense it might be that some form of Starforce protection was working on my system. The drive worked about 50% of the time when the system was new and this % rapidly dropped to nothing. I have not used that drive in any PC I've built since as I always assumed that it was at fault but as I assume ArmA needs a DVD drive I might *carefully* remove my mug and pop it into a machine.

Well I unpacked the LoBoIs.pbo and went through the config.cpp. Its not a 5 minute job but Ill do the egypt one if you insist (soon I promise)

2 things 1. IMHO your textures would look much better if they were desturated by about 50 points (if photoshop). For some reason the OFP engine really brings colours up so I find I reduce the colour and make them grey. I've you selected your tank and lowered the saturated while keeping the background the same just to explain what I mean Just imagine that after a few hours driving round the outside is dirty and dusty. 2. Is that a radio antennae aerial? I was surprised to see this on such an early tank design. Im sure your looking forward to making the interiors - I'm guessing that there are few interior pictures available for reference. Keep going

Nice windmill but you should use a transparent texture for the fins so its not as CPU heavy. Traditionally people put more detail into units and vehicles and sacrifice the houses a little. Here's something I just knocked up as an example. Rather than make all the individual vetexes I included a single double sided plane and than textured this with a .pac A .pac comes from a .gif asnd if you use Magenta (RGB:255,0,255) it disappears in game. Heres a pic with my texture and an image of the model This will result in a much more efficient object when running OFP.
