    Destroyed Buildings

    because they are two small for a large city with large buildings. and they lack rubble. they work for small villiages and areas but not a large city. plus nagovas destroyed buildings are simply walls and they look like they are 100yrs old. plus 2 of the objects have trees growing out of them!!

    is any 1 out there making destroyed buildings. You know, the types you might see in a ww2 berlin or stalingrad map or like grozny of the chechen republic or falluja -i don't know how to spell falluja. it seems odd to me that nobody has crated destroyed buildings that can be placed on a map, or even decent rubble excpecially when much of the custom made ofp missions involve fighting in cities. just an idea for you addon makers. i am working on a map and i need destroyed buildings. i would do them myself, but i do not have the proper programs or knowledge to create them. if anybody out there is creating some i have the perfect map to beta test them on
  3. 1 of my best friends owns a ruger mini-14 (the rifle you are creating) and i have shot it on numerouse occasions. just for your statistical purposes i will give you my impression of the rifle. .223 calibure very light and easy to shoot with no kick at all a really fun little gun. accurate out to about 250 yrds. at 300 yrds between 4 of us shooting we were only able to achive a best of 9 inch groups, so it wasent just my shooting. mini-14's are notoriouse for being innacurate. most of the scopes that i have seen mounted on mini-14's have been fixed 3x scopes or simple red dot scopes. many police in my area use them and lots of ranchers as a varmint gun. i look forward to its compleation because i would like to use it in some resistance missions. i also own a ruger 10/22 myself, as do many of my friends. i wish somebody would make 1 in a pack by itself.

    JAM3 - Beta testers

    the only critique that i have to offer is that i belive the sounds in jam2 were unrealistic. try researching the weapon sounds before making the sound. for example the .223 or 5.56 ammo was way to snappy. i own a .223 calibre rifle and it sounds much more boomy than the jam2 version. the ak47 noise sounded fine to me, however the ak74 sounded like a tin can. just because the bullet size is bigger it doesent mean it should have a deeper boom. many factors are present such as barrel lengh and the amount of powder behind the bullet, also muzzel breakes make a gun much louder and deeper. i love jam, but in jam3 i think that more realistic sounds should be impleamented.

    I have been looking for an island that could represent chechnya, but have only found 1, i belive it is called ickteria or something like that. anyways the island is only half finished. Has anybody found a ofp map that could be a good representation of chechnya? is anybody working on 1? As a side note i have also been searching for destroyed and war torn buildings. anybody out there creating these or know of some?

    another bug i noticed is that when shot the camo textures on the part of the body shot revert to one solid color, usually grey or blue or green. very nice guys. love the randomized effect.

    thank you for your thoughts. people need criticism while developing islands and addons to improve them and futre work. unfortunatly i am currently making an island for a mod so the pacific island will have to wait a while before i am able to make a final version. i am looking for a couple beta testers for the island i am developing right now however. if you are interested in taking a look let me know.

    what are the names of the pbo's in the pack that are requierd for just the chinese infantry and armour? we do not need to use the tiwan stuff, and there is limited room in ofp for addons. i would apprciate it if you let me know. although it is not a big deal, we can probabbly figure it out by trial and error. also i sent you an email with a similar message.

    that looks really great. good job guys. also, i am a member of a mod team and we want some chinese infantry for operation flashpoint: resistance. we are making a campaign about an invasion of the USA by russia and china. would it be possible for us to use your chinese infantry and armour. and if so can you send just the chinese infantry and armour to us. we do not need the tiwan soldiers. if you would allow us to use your excellent work you would recieve full credit for any of your addons that we use. let me know what you think. we can be contacted at redneckehv@yahoo.com
