  3. Hello to all comrades @ IFA3 , I wanted to mention to a bug , I've been searching and have not found the information. In STUG III and JS 122, putting it in the editor empty and unlocked, does not let such as a driver. putting me into changing me as a driver and in place, will not let me go back to the driving position . Tested this with latest patch and found no issues. Not sure what Histeria means but I was able to get in as driver for both empty vehicles and could rotate through positions with no problems. I did find that with the JS that when you approached the vehicle from the front, you did not get a prompt to enter the tank in any position. You could only access the drivers position from the left of the tank as well. The t34's had similar issues but when you got close to the tank from the front, you lose the prompt to enter any position in the vehicle. Stug doesn't have the issue Histeria describes. Binoculars bug , I've tried in the Russian tanks and Commander gets inside to get the binoculars. Tested and this is the bug I reported earlier where you can use the binocs but you don't see yourself in 3rd person when turned out using them. Histeria, please make sure you have all the patches installed and in the correct load order; "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe" -nosplash -mod=@CBA_A3;@LIB_DLC_1;@IF;@ifa3sa;@IFA3M;@IFA3 Another bug with all tanks; the 3rd person cross hairs don't work for the main guns. The mg cross hairs work though.
  4. Another bug I forgot to mention. When turned out as commander in a tank using binoculars, the player model disappears. Happens in all German Tanks and I believe the Allied ones as well. will double check tonight. thanks again for all your hard work giallustio, the community does appreciate it!!!
  5. If you have it installed correctly with no errors and have the mod loaded in the right order then you shouldn't have those errors. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe" -nosplash -mod=@CBA_A3;@LIB_DLC_1;@IF;@ifa3sa;@IFA3M;@IFA3 The conversion still has a few bugs to fix but for the most part it is 98% playable.

    Nice alternative to TADST. Another bug. Program doesn't recognize mod folders that are all capitalized. ie/ @IF;@IFA3SA. I had to change the spelling to @If and @Ifa3sa ofr the program to recognize the mod folders. otherwise seems to work quite well.

  8. Again the Sale is on. With IFA3 becoming stable (almost) but major game breaking bugs being fixed it is now time to buy and convert it!!! Santa wants you to buy it because you've been a good boy or girl or buy it for someone else!
  9. Gunter has been living and breathing IF for many months now period!! It is understandable to get super frustrated when you get something that is not exactly advertised and breaks more than it was supposed to fix. He does have the correct files now and will be releasing something in the very near future for all of us to enjoy. On a side note, it appears BIS new patch 1.54 fixes the tanks that auto repair themselves when not fully destroyed. Tested using the new patch 1.14, 1.09 dlc and have to say I think IFA3 is back in business if this is in fact the case. Exciting times ahead for IFA3!!! Thanks again Gunter for all you hard work and persistence!!! And a Hats Off to all those who have helped make IFA3 possible!! EDIT: Reinstalled IF mod in A3 to; Iron Front A3 version: 1.10 Iron Front DLC version: 1.08 Iron Front version: 1.13 Tested again in SP and it looks like BIS latest patch 1.54.13blah blah... fixes some previous issues. We can now place mines, trip wires and throw grenades and the auto repairing tanks have also been fixed. Still missing sounds on mg42 and Thompson and tanks seem to still lack any real weight.
  10. Gunter got the wrong files and did not get the proper patch. He does have it now and will test it further. I have to say, it looks like BIS latest patch 1.54 fixes the tanks form auto repairing themselves when hit and not destroyed. I will do further tests to see, but it looks like we have a patch that can make IFA3 functional again!
  11. Nope not dead. Kju and his gang are still hard at work squashing all the bugs I am sure. Looking forward to the release combined with Gunter's Mod. They should both bring a lot of players over to IFA3 finally.

    That's a lie! Here is the code taken from Nvidia profiles using the tool "Nvidia Inspector" and it does work for me. You have to fool around with the settings to find a fit for your machine. Unfortunately it has to be done until BIS can find away to fully utilize all cpu cores and threads and have dedicated cores for certain aspects of the game like ai for example.   14. I assume you mean the tracks get shot off but after a little bit they reappear back on the tank? If so, hopefully it will be fixed in the upcoming patch by Kju
  15. Yup but satchels are broken since last patch. There are a couple of servers running with similar or a ported version of and old domination. Do a search for Iron front servers and you will find them.

    Something that resembles the RAM mod with the ability to lose parts of the vehicle ala Iron Front.

    Domination Redux by Champy and Tankbuster

    Yes there is a way to have these vehicles at the start of the mission and have them respawn back at base when they get destroyed. It involves opening the mission (if Tankbuster approves, don't want to step on any toes here) and adding the vehicles you want at base. You will then have to add code to the vehicle's init box (use these scripts found here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=23571 it explains how to) and voila, you have the vehicle again.

    I keep reading this thread hoping to see some mention of a proper armor model/damage system for vehicles in A3, but keep leaving this thread disappointed :( Is this something on any BIS Developers list to improve or should I hope it gets implemented in Arma 4 or 5? Have any BI Developers looked at the work Olds and Bakerman have been doing with (RAM)? Can this be easily worked into the existing system?     Pacific war Mod

    Wow! Looks good guys! Downloading now and can't wait to play. I still have a fondness for OFP but I have to ask, why not make these for A2 or A3? thanks again for all your hard work!!!
