You CAN, but you are not supposed to, actualy, in doing so, you are actualy defeating the entire purpose of JAM, your mag is no longer universial, since its different from everyone elses. i play sp only i havent played jam in mp and don't want to due to my jam values in sp changing and adding jam values/ammo types is really cool since you find the correct muzzle velocities damage/range and missing ammo for custom weapons like the special spc m4s which use 6.8X45mm rounds which spec ops use with reports saying its better than the 5.56 and 7.62 bullets example of modified jam values, m4 range 400m/s mv=902m/s machingun range 550m, ak74 450m, added 6.8mm ammo hit=11.5, mv=855m/s sound using m14 . m16 mv=945m/s, changed magsd speed for better accuracy to 800m/s stuff like that, i can add more realism in some aspects and less in some aspects since its a game so in the end when ai usues those weapons i end up having long range fights with my ai enemies shooting at me 400m away with hd ammo. results to great gaming atmosphere also my point really was/suggestion was to keep the "//////// = changed parametres" part of the cpp so that we know what was changed also your talking of more mp when u say universal. since i use 5.56 auto ammo in my sp games i kill an ai carrying 5.56 auto ammo and i pick it up and it will sill have the same values when the ai used it. it's still universal and thats not defeating the purpose of jam since it's universal. only in mp games if i use my modified jam would i defeat it's purpsoe. for me jam is an addon which allows to tweak and add ammo types for ai and myself playing sp and want more out of bullets/modified weapons. speed/hit/punch

sorry man can't agree with you there bas deltas/ranger units in my point of view is still the best overall, quality and quantity and playablity in large numbers bas weapons i agree do need a weapon haul though their m4 desert textures are the best lasers updated delta might change my mind though best m4s ive seen is gordys spc m4s, textures and model earls modified m4s by laser comes close second(desert versions need changing) but sjbs units are in another theatre of spec ops so i guess itll be tie with bas and i havent seen his new updated weapons yet, but the lr300 looks so cool in rl that i bet it'll be in par with the top mod m4s out there (gordy/earl/laser). his old tos m4s already are in high quality just needed tweaking with the bullet ballistics but still extraction will also have a spec ops pack sjb/laser/extraction/viper/gordy their packs are gonna rock

also the reason why the pics of your m4s didn't show up in  briefing was because there were no paa files that were named in the cpp in the pbo file make a few paa to make the weapons and mags to show in briefing I just know a bit about p3d swap texturing cpp thats about it but weapon configs i get cpp sample here and there from existing weapons and it gets easy i still will volunteer for the weapon configs i'll try search up some jpgs with good side views etc. but your textures for those weapons are excellent or better yet ask bas if you could use theirs

no you can change range,bullet speed add more ammo types for your own use and sound without messing around with existing ammo classnames ha!

A MUST ONE BIG THING not to forget in the cpp is "///////////= changed parametres" since jam is meant to be changed all the time for personal use i myself have tweaked my jam values to my liking, and a jam 3 with "/////=changed parametres" will be easy to add/edit/change values , so that jam3 versions can edited easier to add the user modified jam changes also requesting a 6.8X43 ammo thanks and keep up the good work

love the chopper but its really hard to kill ground troops using the miniguns and m2 even the ai can't really killem anychance of the m2 and minigun able to shoot better like the bas choppers? if not, it's still goodwork! now we have a usmc chopper for transport and support

well i try to make my missions realistic that's why i tweak my favorite units with sensitivity, what i can see my group can see. my enemy units usually hd ammo since i base my missions with mercs/terrorist/private military vs sof conducting covert or clandestine missions with only fixed wing cas or none at all. ive been trying to read those manuals but they seem still too formal to me. i base my missions or get ideas from books and articles. i'd like to ask whats the typical briefing structure. friendly units in area/ support/ intel. cause i haven't really seen official ones. -
i think this addon shouldn't be made like generic opfor since generic opfor still has addon dependency issues and large memory intake which equals to large lag when lots of the units are used. this addon is great becuase we have middle eastern fighters and no lag which could be used in large battles, if generic opfor was used memory will be taken up big time resulting in big lag i reckon just add more classes.

it says on his website there will be 2 versions ofp and vbs ofp will only use ofp sttuff and no vbs things but he will use some ofp stuff for vbs version that is my understanding
