    One of the most useful items apart from the game itself. Cant wait for release of this guide even more so now with all the module stuff which i have no idea about. Great work Mr Murray and others that are involved :-)

    Worse performance than I should be getting?

    Im running on AMD athlon 6000+ x2 duel core, 9800GTX+, 8gig 1600mhz ram. I cannot get settings above normal? Going buy what you are saying I should have no problem getting all on max. What OS are you on?
  3. Hi, has anybody found the location of or opened the mission super powers. I want to change a few things with this mission but I cannot locate it. Thanks in advance for any help..:) Oh I just found it, they are all located in one missions folder within the addons :-)
  4. Hi all, It was just a thought but does anybody know if it is possible to extend the map that is already there. It would be cool if people could make there own maps then add it to the original ie to the east and continue the coastline etc. I am not sure how this would effect performance but if its a rolling terrain does it only load up as needed? :)

    +1 on the editor. For me the campaign has no intrest and I proberbly will never do it. The game is worth every penny just for all the other aspects :-)
  6. Ok I cannot find anything about this, whats wrong with the weather in the multiplayer superpowers. The clouds dont move and it stays the same im sure it did not do that in arma?

    I was very surprised when I saw this. I used to play in your clan years ago and we also had our own before that EST. My game name used to be Sub-zero. I remember Taxman the man from wales and kerensky, by heck its bringing back some memories including nearly getting divorced cos I was on PC too much lol. Look forward to playing with you guys again :-)

    Hi, Im working on a map but i want the mobile hq to be static or even replace it for the building thats in the editor. I would still like the game to be won when it is destroyed. Does anybody know how to do this?

    People do seem to get a bit elitist in this forum. Yes he only asked a question! It does not matter how old he is or what games he has played before. My 2 boys 11 & 15 years old both have 360 and both have pc,s in there room. They both play cod and all the other games similar to that. Im not into them but they really enjoy them and have a lot of fun. Last year I bought a further 2 copies of arma and we all played over the network. My point being that we all really got into it and the game play was superb and they both played it with an indepth and mature attitude, we also had a lot of fun. We are all looking forward to arma2 but they will have to wait a bit longer because i cannot afford to upgrade all 3 pc,s at the same time. I think it is up to the older or longer time members of this forum to encourage new players and to show them what a true mili-sim can be like.... btw sorry for going off topic but i feel it needs to be said. Also no split screen on pc version..

  21. Hi all, Im making a map at the moment and I am trying to make additional respawn markers appear when an area has been cleared of the enemy. At the moment you have main base with the standard respawn marker. When you have captured an area I also want another respawn marker to appear so then you have the choice of two places to respawn. Is there a tool or a script to help me do this, Thanks :j:

    Thanks for reply celery, I think now to get what I need it will have to be a script. Does anybody know of one that I could incorparate? Thanks :-) btw I also thought about doing it with mobile HQ,s like xeno does in domination but I dont know which scripts to use or how to incorparate..
