Thats surprising about the Army and GEDs because I was told specifically by a US Army recruiter that they do not allow GEDs. Guess she didn't know her stuff.

"And I think events have prven quite well that private industry just isnt getting the job done, in regards to better security at airports." And I don't think federal employees would could handle it any better. Amtrak, US Mail, Social Security, the War on Drugs, the War on Terrorism... the list can go on.

Ya and I've seen movies where Dinosaurs ate people and people's thumbs got shot off, and people blew their brains out through with a shotgun. Doesn't mean it happened.

I don't believe it. I've seen that pic so many times with so many different stories. Plus I'm not entirely sure its real.

The basic qualifications to be considered for a law enforcement career with the City of Fairfax are: You must be a U.S. citizen. Â You must be at least 21 years of age by the date you are appointed as a police officer. Â You must be a high school graduate, or have a valid G.E.D. certificate. Â You must have a valid drivers license in your current state of residence. If you will be relocating to Virginia, you must be able to obtain a valid Virginia drivers license upon appointment. Â Your eyesight must be a minimum of 20/20 binocular vision. You may wear corrective glasses but your uncorrected vision with glasses must be no worse that 20/100 in either eye. You may also use corrective soft contacts. Uncorrected vision with soft contacts must be no worse than 20/200. Â You cannot have any felony criminal convictions, or have ever been convicted of domestic assault or any other conviction that would prohibit your possession of a firearm. Â You must have a sound and good reputation, be honest and of good moral character. Â You must have the ability to speak clearly and hear, to analyze information and react swiftly to high stress situations. Â You cannot be a current user of unlawful drugs or abuser of alcohol or any other stimulant or depressant. Prior unlawful drug use will be reviewed in reference to how recent the use was, the type of drug, and frequency of use. Once again all you have to have is a GED. Â Even the army doesn't allow that... So actually you're "4 year college" claim was wrong. Nice try though

Pay the baggage checkers at the metal detectors more than minimum wage. Have higher educated people doing it. This is very important and I think could stop all potential hijackers. Do not federalize them, we do not need a bigger government and more beauracracy. Air marshalls -- I'm not decided on this one. When I hear it I'm against it because its expanding the government once again. But we have cops in the streets, why not in planes. Hmm. I just don't think its feasible for a cop to be on every plane.

This is my opinion on cops. Most cops were bullies as kids and become cops to have the power of authority over other people. They are not highly educated, and generally have the Cops vs Robbers mentality. I'm a cop, they are stupid robbers, I'm better than them. I really cant stress the bulliness enough. They are bullies. They know they are bullies. They like being bullies. Now of course, this is not the case for all cops. But I am generalizing on my observations. I think good cops become FBI agents. Bad cops stay cops and bully people around. I used to want to be a police officer, but I decided I didn't want to work with those types of people.

What I want to know is what kinda hippie parents let their 7 year old boy get a pierced ear? I don't have any piercings, I don't want any piercings. I think they look stupid. However I do have "OFP IS MY GOD" tattooed accross my back shoulder to shoulder.

Spanish little island invaded by marroc
EveronVetsAgainstTheWar replied to camper's topic in OFFTOPIC
I can understand why Spain would go to war over it. If Mexico or Cuba decided to take over an American island off the coast of Florida or another state on the Gulf, America sure as hell wouldn't stand for it. -
Oh great abortion! If a woman does not have the right to choose whether she will have child or not, than what right do we have as men in having sex with her?

I get the urge to download counter strike hacks quite often. Just because I hate the counter strike community that much. I want to ruin their pitiful lives. But I don't because I play DoD and dont want people to get to thinking I cheat in a game like DoD which I love.
