Actually I was under the impression that for OFP your CPU mattered most. Better CPU = More objects can be rendered faster. Am I right?

I would look at benchmark tests. You see, the GF4 Ti4200 with 128mb of ram actually has a LOWER clock speed than the version with 64mb of ram. This can limit the performance. So, this is just speculation, but the 128mb version might actually be a SLOWER card...

I've heard rumors that SC2 will be a FPS... However there hasnt been anything official on it.

Is there a demo for this game? Are the gfx nice? After playing Dungeon Siege I was disapointed by its lack of depth. It was very stunning and beautiful, but very simple. Do you think I'd like NWN?

Back when the US version of PC Gamer still had a section describing the demos on their disk, I saw the demo for OFP. Â It said something about outdoor battles or something, and since I had 56k and no money, I usually played every demo I could get. Â This was back in spring of 2001. Back then my system only had an 8mb onboard video card and when playing the game, ground textures would not show up. Â It was all white. Â This did not deter me as I was convinced it was snow. Â I loved the demo and played it numerous times. Then in Math class me and my friends would talk about it and I learned that it was not snow, just my bad system. Â So I went out and bought a video card. Â Sadly, I still play with the same system I did over a year ago Then I remember being psyched about the game and going to the site numberous times and seeing these forums, so I signed up at work last summer (same job) Â just a few days before its release in the US. Â Ever since, Ive been on these forums and playing OFP (With a couple breaks for games such as Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege, and lots and lots of DoD breaks)

I recently played the demo for this game and IMHO I say the game sucks. If you liked Ghost Recon, you may like it cuz its basically an indoor mod for Ghost Recon. But you have a little map on your hud and you follow a trail and the baddies show up on the radar Also weapon choice is very limited and once again you cannot see your gun. Any other opinions on the game?

Well we all remember the video posted (by I think USSodiler) which played hardcore music and showed things blowing up and was very pro-destruction. I actually thought the video was entertaining.
