    Hostage cownapped by militants

Agreed, and it would also require some talent which I feel some modern art "makers" severly lack. I mean, even I can paint a plastic cow in bright colors and I have no artistic talents (not that I know of at least). -edit-: for me, arts (any form of art) must either represent something through the work and reflexion of the artist(landscape, feeling, apples whatever) or make you think or react about something, art has to give you something (and this something could be a vision of new horizon with landscapes or food for thoughts with a reflexion on self-responsability and such with the exemple of the goldfish in a mixer)

I'm with you on this one. I don't mind modern art personnaly as some works are clearly works of arts, but the exemples you've quoted are exactly what I despise. Go to Paris someday and visit the Louvre and Orsay museums and the Pompidou centre where you can find some of the most fantastic art collections ever assembled.

    Help me understand.

I have a problem with this statement, you don't hate a nation, you hate an administration, a government, because a nation is an economical and geographical association of people standing for its interests and ideals. As a citizen I am a working part of my nation, so if you don't hate the people, you don't hate nations, just a certain category of individuals in this nation constituting an administration.

If moving from a country to another was an option there would have to be some kind of price to pay with different options depending of your destination, country of origin and networth.

    Korea... next?

you gota flaw there IceFire, how does attacking a country which is run by a dictator that good old bush has some stupid vendetta against protect us? in case you haven't noticed are soldiers are getting killed. so are you saying you would rather trade 1 soldier in exchange for 1 civilian? doesn't make much sense to me. while we waist time in Iraq, Iran is building their own nuclear weapons and terrorists still get money from countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordian, and Syria. doesn't seem to effective to me. Especially when this Leader is reputed in the ME for secular values (at a certain time at leats) if it's awar to clean the Middle East from Islamic influence (tough job there, boy) ?

And you're doing a shitty job, throwing your might around like a fat assed bully using the wrong methods in the wrong places creating even more enemies when you try infact to reduce their number. YOU get a dose of reality. As already pointed out hundreds of times here, the world isn't just black and white, there are as many shades of grey as there are human beings
