No, sometimes, I need waypoint, for AI teams, or for my team for example for asking to dismount. And it has nothing to do with the difficulty I think, because these waypoints only appear when using the addWaypoint command... So, any idea :)? -
Operation Hashpoint (v2.2) BY PAPY.RABBIT.08/SWITZERLAND Description: Operation Hashpoint is an infantry-based mission, with 5 objectives over almost the half of Stratis island. The hostages have sometimes a strange behaviour, I have done so much to inhibit the behaviour changes as I can. So try get back to another save, sorry :S. And for the radio, just press 0, and again 0, then you have the choice between 1 and 2 (alpha, beta). Tell me I you have other problems!

Thank you for the feedback Bill! I tried an other kind of mission.. I hope not everyone will not like to play it! I'm sorry for you. But I tried to have some realism, with the long journey, and for the night, with NV, I think it is also something that can happend. I mean they are there to be used! So I though it was not so difficult if the enemies didn't got NV Goggles. And in a way, they don't see anything, so the first part is not too difficult! I hope I will get more feedback from other people, because your the first.. Thanks anyway! I hope you'll like the next ones...

Hello, I don't know if this has already been posted, but I couldn't find it... After editing a lot in SP, I will try the multiplayer (cooperative mission, not wasteland or such things...). So I wonder if you could tell me just in 2 words what are the main differences and the most important things that change, such as commands or names, or variables, etc... Thank you! -

Thank you for all your answers! I read a lot, but it seemed very complicated. Yes I have scripted a lot, using the bis wiki... I try and when it doesn't work, I search why. But the problem is that I have no friends on Arma for testing, and I don't really understand this story with the servers... I mean, if someone start a game, with my coop mission, then another friend join this player and use a "playable unit", there isn't no "server". I mean, the script are exectuted on the computer from the guy who started the game, isn't it? I have some problem to understand all that. If you execute a script after a trigger, with hint "hello world" or I don't know what, it will be displayed on the two computer, or am I wrong? I know that some functions get executed on every computer, but sometimes you have to do it by yourself, but how do you execute a command on someone's machine and not on all of them? Thank you guys -

Hello SeiFe, you have to blow up the main building only, strange nothing happend :/ Maybe a bug. I went through the whole mission the other day, and there was no problem with it! Otherwise, juste skipe it, and go to the next objective, the mission will be failed, but you will be able to play it through!

I'm calm, don't worry ;) I just don't understand why it doesn't work. But if you have the dev version, maybe the statics objects do change again... Do you still get the message "static objects wrong, please reopen in the editor and save it again" (or something like that)? EDIT: I just downloaded the file from the link I gave, and tested it again, and yes... it work as it should, so it must be with the dev. version... :S

Aaaarrrrgggg! I don't understand why! There is a problem between the versions! The problem is caused because they changed the id of the map objects. I corrected it! So now, i really don't understand why you still have a problem... Did you update Arma 3 to last version? Did you replace the file? Did you click restart instead of resume? If it doesn't work, I will maybe find an other way to do it... DO OTHERS PLAYER ALSO STILL FACE THE SAME PROBLEMS? Thank you for reporting.

So everyone, I updated the mission for arma 3 0.54 update. As I said, all the problems were due to the game update. Everything is fine now!

Okay, thank you guys for reporting! It is very difficult to test things alone, especially when there is a massive update of the game, where the problems are for everyone and me being away from home and can not update the file :/ @Kommiekat: I stole ideas also... It is how I learned. I use the editor since OFP, so with the time, I learned a lot, but with others ideas or with the wiki. Only problem, sometimes I use french words for variables, etc.. ;) @sproyd: For the first one: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Overview.html There's an example here. 2) using description.ext and using a command such as Bisfunction or something like that, I can't figure it out. As I said, I'm away from home. 3) With the same way... By using the End1,2,3... in the description.ext... The best advice is: use unpbo (goggle)! Unpack and look in it! @Mobile_Medic: I'm surprised! With mission 2.0? I though I had this problem fixed... I don't know what to do more... If I can't reproduce, it will be difficult...

Ok guys, as someone said, the problems are happening because of the new PATCH/UPDATE. I'll correct that this week-end! Sorry for these problems, but the patch does this... Thanks for commenting!

Thank you for commenting MSILVA! for the first, the message is how to get out of the choppers? I wrote it because if you wait, the second chopper doesn't land :/ I took it from an other mission, from somebody else. For the second, I don't know why you got that. There is 4 objectives when you begin the mission. You can do the one you want. And by default, it is the first one that is activated, I don't understand why it didn't work... For the third, I'm sad about that, it is clearly a bug. I hope there will not be many people facing this problem :S Thank you

Don't forget to restart the mission, not resume, after replacing the file.

So, I have posted this update, the ending exfiltration problem is fixed, and I have added a supplementary objective at the end of the mission! See the first page of this topic for downloading or for details...
