women soldier models are very much possible, IF are using man class as base, use the same bones etc etc. Basically all it is needed is a different mesh for the women, and those would work using the same animations A2 currently has for man class.

if in your game the values are the same, check your ArmA2.cfg or ArmA2OA.cfg under C:\Users\~WINUSER~\Documents\ArmA 2 that your values for Resolution_W=xxxx; Resolution_H=yyyy; equals Render_W=xxxx; Render_H=yyyy; -
If you paid 5 grand (i assume that is international currency USD or EU), you have been fooled. The said system is about 1500eu (of course no monitors, pcie SSDs etc) To answer your question, yes, it can play the game. But you should have posted in Will my PC run this

pallets cannot be properly simulated in RV engine, guess the main reason for the lack interest from addon makers. A2 comes with 2 shotguns though. -

usually, when a thread is closed, you either PM a moderator to have it opened, in order to avoid Cross Posting (rule 9), or you live with it. Addon request thread also works for asking this sort of questions, no matter if it's a request, or just asking because you want to start your own mod or any other reason To answer your question though, there is no mod based on 50's 60's units, released or in the works -

AA2/3 are not the only game that uses a similar concept. It is the only game though where you can see your own weapon misplaced, not only its attachments. Anyways, OA backpacks uses a similar system with what i have described, and i haven't encountered such behaviour (and is closer to what it would look like, since it uses RV engine)

for mission you mean? for all engine related, .paa is the file one should be using, especially since some older ATI GFX cards can't read jpg file properly(in A2). jpg->tga (use PS, gimp or converter) tga->paa (use only texview or pal2pace - same thing) -
i suggested this in a different post around this very same forums. IF all weapon models would be modeled without attachments, and then all attachments modelled separately, attaching those to their specific weapons in the same way BIS backpacks works, would result in: * more attachments available for a range of weapons (now it is needed to model the weapon as well) * being able to have a system that would allow to pick the base weapon, then all the attachments at base/crate, whatever. There have been several tries for animated bipods, which ended up as failure. There is a lot of possibilities with this engine (as well as custom anims for each weapon, like one can see in most nowadays engine). - i actually prefer a better interaction environment opposed to better GFX, or better textures. Hope that will happen in some future (patch or new game).

animating the leaf for grenades, as well as bipods, would be a big plus. Unfortunatly, this is not supported in RV engine (yet). Opposed to what you see in movies and in COD/Crysis, modifications on the field NEVER happen. Those are done at the unit armory, and require some skill and precision to have sights for instance properly aligned. So no, thank you for that

due to new license information bis released, there is no legal way to change a texture of a bin model, unless it has hidden selection.. nobody else will give the info you are looking for on these forums anymore, sorry
