Ingame VOIP - a small missed opportunity?

I did hope they implemented VoIP as in OFP:E with Xbox Live, it was a great addition to the game. I have not yet tested it with 1.05 as 6thSense server did not seem to have it on friday night. Will check this out soon -

With ideas like this there have to be bases don't you think? A base for both sides where you can have teams/groups spawn as reinforcement, with active transport heli's who have to check their own status before deploying the teams; if low on fuel/ammo first get that before picking up the team And if you are sure both side are almost unable to advance to far you can place fieldtents for medical situations and ammo just my 2 cents love this idea -
Wow, I never really played like this because of this verry issue, I just adjusted to the situation and walked the most parts without sights on, but as I don't use the crosshair this got me killed more times then was pleasant. This will allow us to engage the right way Don't know how you've got a hold of this, but I thank you for sharing.

The problem is, I can't remember Or else I've put that in my previous post, it's just that I've read an interview saying they where going to implement an option to get over small obstacles, and it's an interview from a while back so I HOPE it's for 1.05 but I don't KNOW that

This one is just something you can get used to, had this for 1-2days since then I never had this problem, there's a big difference between 'click' and 'hold' mouse button and I'm glad there is, only gives you more options Only thing that I changed is the 'hold breath' I don't always want to hold my breath while zooming to check surrounding

Don't know if I have to put this here or somewhere else but as this community in breaking boundries, would it be possible to create a mirror like surface? When driving cars I really miss the ability of looking in the the mirror. Maybe it is just a small detail but I missed this in OFP and hoped it to be in ArmA but BIS did not try making this as far as I know so I really hope the community might be able to get this into the game... Kegetys was able to make reflective water in OFP so I guess this must be do-able either -
I will get 505version tomorrow, have Morphicon version allready, to bad there is no word about special edition, want that one really bad, but I will post if FPS is improved or at the game playes smoother at least

try to explain that to the person who in the end is the one who decides if the romantics are going to happen at all I guess I'll pop in around 10pm because I love to play with some more on co-op You will see me on the sundays for sure, wednesdays are for my girl -
I guess that recreating some place on earth to every correct detail would be pretty though for your pc even if it's only 10km2 instead of the 400km2 of sahrani. But still I would love to see some deserted place with every correct detail, alaska or something (I imagine that being deserted with only few people living distances from each other)

Hi Solus, I just wanted to ask if it was possible to recreate a solar eclipse ingame? I have some problems starting ArmA at the moment and am not sure if I have the correct data. I have searched for an eclipse that was recreatable in ArmA and stumbled uppon the 1998 eclipse, 11 August but it missed the supposed position of Sahrani so I wondered if it is possible or not. I'd love to see this getting strechted out to having to stay in a hospital for a while when serious injured. And the promotional thing offcourse. I don't know if I'd like this to become something MMO like or not but when done well there really is no need for real wars anymore. *there's no real need allready, but still* From what I've read and heard about the Game2 idea's it will become huge and the best thing coming to any platform for any genre And how about the physical side when you see lot's of your buddies die on the field, could have some strange affects to your character.

Well I would have a lot more fait on ArmA being great on a console as opposed to OFP:E wich still was a great game in my oppinion even the graphics where nice. But without any updates a game like that gets dead to soon with a dead MP-community allready. Still it was a great time killer until I got ArmA, and ArmA IS a great time killer for the long wait till Game 2, which I'd rather see on a console

SLX will have add some nice features to ArmA around what is being discussed here And most are gameplay savers and not even realism killers But to share my tought on the need of a better system, I think this one does it's job very well. And I don't think Game2 doesn't even need such a system wich recreates the human body perfectly I'd rather see other points being adressed as this one could be made with some values and randomization

I don't think it is very necesary for them to anounce the gold status again. As most who where waiting for ArmA's release do have their version allready. I'd love to see some more promotion or at least news for more of the regions they publish in, only UK and French news so far, as I know

I like this idea, although I myself would rather see the Sahrani culture getting more dept, but that is with most of the current add-ons; I'd rather see Sahrani getting 'civiliced' and giving it more history Still, I'd love to see these things across the island (with a good background story to give it a reason for being on sahrani) At least it's usefull for future islands

At the moment there are 2 people using 1.04 online, looks promesing Nice "tool" to use verry usefull for seeing if ArmA is growing or not -
If you'd print with 72dpi maybe but something like this should be printed at 600dpi for perfect quality, I don't know what size that would be but I will look it up!

I play ArmA on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilio 3438g get a FPS of 20-30 everywhere With all on high-very high except for textures. Cost me €1700 1,5year ago, really love this machine!

Well I think that it's best to create such a city with a story in mind, like a GR2 city, to get the most potential out of it straight away, without having to create a mission/campaign to set the entire setting; full of traffic, populated, rush and such things. So a theme, like a city under siege or maybe run by gang's could save the disappointment of an empty city. But it offcourse takes a lot more of thinking to get this done right. But as I said before, having ONE big city island/map that fit's all type of urban combat would be great! And my last comment/oppinion for this post, I think an arabian or soviet style city would be much better then an American, even though hollywood thinks different about this.
