I totally support CarlGustaffa's post If we could not have the automatic management then at least have the AI get new gear that fits their class when out of ammo And the planned actions are also a good idea, while in transport you can get so much managed before even getting started, we always do such online and it would be really great to have this manangeable with AI as well The point and click system should be improved as well, more/all available options from the action menu should be clickable as well I really liked the Full Spectrum Warrior interface but it should be a bit more different in ArmA

Yes I have the original German boxed version I have tried patching my game with; the 1.00 > 1.02 patch the 1.00 > 1.05 patch and with the QG patch which should patch any version all the way up to 1.08 All of these worked for me before so it is not a mather of broken download The errors come with all the patches not only when installing QG I will try it with 1 CPU as soon as I get my system stable again (windows security update crashed it)

Created other topic: Patching Problem Please delete this post if you do not agree with my actions I have a more general patch problem, it started going wrong with 1.09 giving errors about my arma.exe and armaserver.exe I never had any problems with arma before since german release! now after 6 arma re-installations and my first complete format and xp re-install I STILL keep getting patching errors like this: from patch 1.01 untill the latest 1.09b I have used severall downloaded patches as well as the complete patch included with Queens Gambit There are no scratches on my disc as it has been in my DVD Drive since the beginning! I have no idea what to do, if I say ignore to let the patch get installed I can play but with problems and well the german 1.00 version of ArmA was never really that fun to play System: Windows XP Home edition Intel Core2Duo E6850 @ 3.00GHz ATi Radeon HD 2900 XT ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard 2Gb DDR2 800MHz RAM GEiL 4-4-4-12 (more info needed?) -
It might be possible but would ask a lot from both software as ones hardware, then offcourse MP games would add a whole other question, if one would fly out of the border of an island to get into an other island while the rest of the server is playing on the current island what should happen? having both islands loaded on the server?

soccer celebrations? you DO mean the hooligans i hope :P because I have yet to find a tv in the pubs on Sahrani let alone some team banners hanging on the walls, so no drunken guys to get more waisted after a match would feel right as long as there is no tv there!

also happened in OFP IIRC, I always thought the game uses the windows volume as a max, and divides this between the highest ingame select sound level and 0, so setting Radio at 10, Effects at 5, and Music at 1 would give you for every levels 10%, if you change the highest to 5 it will give you 20% per level

I've mainly used it for "console" style playing. Only using my x360 controler, and sometimes when I'm lazy with my cordless mouse (keyboard cable is not long enough to use in bed), and a TV screen connected to my PC It is very usefull, I do not have to use anymore keys then there are on my controller and mouse (got some keys assigned on my mouse) -

MfG Lee I think the problem is that the AI will not adjust, as in they will not shoot more to the right if their bullet hits way left of me. They will again aim at me the same way they did before and hit the same spot left of me BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW ADDAPTIVE THE AI IS

be carefull what you say, as I remember there will not be bigger mamals then rabbits and such because they will be randomly placed just like the birds now. it may appear strange to walk by a field full of cows one time and it being totally empty the next ( i don't know how the system works, this is what i've read ) just because you've looked the other direction for a while, ninja cows offcourse this is not an assault to you, more so that the rest of the people who read this will not come and read this and start hoping to hunt some deer or bears in ArmA II and be dissapointed

If I'm correct the Proper_Sahrani mod needed the mod folder to keep the original name, because the pbo read from a config folder inside it or something

I think this would open up the game for beginners and casual gamers!

Both may be possible buth need more cpu calculations i guess, now it's just part of the laying model (i think) and if you have to initialize the model and where it has been crawling to have those pieces of grass drop would certainly need more calculating power and to have the AI be affected more, well I'm almost 100% of that being CPU heavy

No it is somewhere north west of the coast of Porto, turn op you view distance and it would be pretty easy to spot it. If I remember correct there is another one close to the one shown on youtube

It seems like a large percentage of the community share these kind of opinions, but it is the fact that they create this for themselfs. I guess the FDF team like these sounds over the previous sounds or else they would not have changed them. I do like the sounds but share the opinion that the crack in the previous version was better

I voted No Why? Well I think it would look really strange in any kind of game you'd play. Singleplayer, maybe not so much but the story will still have some sort of side (probably) usa, and if you would be an german soldier but being referred as an american I would raise an eyebrow at least. Multiplayer Co-op, if I'm an team-leader and I would lead totally different looking guys I might accidentally spot one as an enemy Mp Team vs Team, well this is not Red vs Blue, so having two teams with mixed nations would be friendly fire heaven Mp Single, some might have an advantage over others with their camo Now I would love to have multiple models to choose from, so having some big and some small and some generic type models would add some diversity. Having also the option to choose between some accesoiries would be a nice touch also to add recognisability EDIT: I also would like the abillity to add your own models to choose from then, but that would mean people would have to download that one aswell and might stand out to much -

I guess the first part of that clip shows someone walking out off the heli themself, now think about this in arma with massive desync and more realistic swimming system I do curtainly not miss this item, offcourse it would have been awesome for ships and big transport choppers, but in both not necesarry. You can still jump out of the choppers and with a bit of scripting even with a car/bike. So why is this feature needed? To have something to do during long trips? I would love to know -
