    L85a2 v3

You're right mate - the LLM is coyote brown (slightly different shade from the daniel defense RIS system and grip-pod, but only slightly). ---------- Post added at 23:52 ---------- Previous post was at 23:49 ---------- @Kiory - forward assist technically isn't required as the A2 springs are plenty strong although it is part of the drill. If the animation was fast then could be done. In a panic with an easy to access mag and a dump pouch a full reload with forward assist can take as little as 4s - actually faster than with an armalite as you don't need to take your right hand away from the pistol grip. @Kiory - Hi mate. Got some photos from work for you - particularly the reticule for the Elcan is wrong - Illumination wise there are three modes with various brightnesses - entire reticule glows red, very centre of the cross glows red or off. You can see there is a circular cooling recess in the ris system where the trigger guard cuts into it. Also there is a red screw bottom left of the optic - indicating DFT (don't f**kin touch). Also there is a little bit of thick polymer string holding the battery cap onto the sight - would be good to see it implemented and an open dust cover would be lovely! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1fs3ly2dw3rbo06/AABpAm3RaQh3hxSWwqMv0eK0a?dl=0 There you go mate - best source material in the world there #firsthand.

Hi Kio, the drill is as follows: Magazine off (throw it down the front of your smock or into dump pouch), pouch open, new magazine out - inspect the top to ensure rounds seated correctly, magazine on - give a confirmatory tug, press down on bolt release catch (little square in front of change lever), and tap forward on the cocking handle with the pad of the left hand.

  5. v1.0.2 works but with limited functionality. 1.0.3 doesn't work. Running windows 8 64bit with English (UK) Speech recognizer 8.0 ---------- Post added at 17:15 ---------- Previous post was at 17:14 ---------- Also was wondering if there was a way to keep the context menu open when selecting a team (as if pressing SHIFT+Fkey) to give a click to move order.
  6. That's with the .exe so not in control panel as was never installed as such. Rightclicking will give the file version as 1.0.0.0 but I'm pretty sure I used the download link for the latest version (1.0.3). ---------- Post added at 14:01 ---------- Previous post was at 13:58 ---------- Just installed v1.0.2 and it's come up as "listening" ---------- Post added at 14:27 ---------- Previous post was at 14:01 ---------- Update: still doesn't seem to work
  7. Hi there, I get the following error - any help greatly appreciated! Dave
  8. It's a bugle in my pocket...
  9. Not sure, the voice acting isn't brilliant. Never saw the casting breakdown in the UK and quite a small voicecast for a videogame.
  10. Ahem. We do not have an accent. We invented the language

    P:UKF Weapons Pack.

Sweet, was wondering. I'm not looking forward to VCB games only allocating a realistic 2 CWS per section due to defense cuts/all the duracells being used for Ipods/portable DVD players! I take it the Light feature's gone now replaced by the LAZOR? Anyway to have visible laser like on the LLM01? ---------- Post added at 11:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:44 PM ---------- PS CWS is common weapon sight. It's night optics for the SA80. Similar Civvie equivalent would be KITE night sight.http://www.beateye.com/frss/starlight.htm

Also, possible bug - Can't use NVGs whilst using magnified optics (SUSAT or ACOG) - the EBS works fine with it. Is this deliberate? Might need to do an addon with a CWS otherwise. And no sod wants to carry it! ---------- Post added at 11:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:31 PM ---------- ps cheers attorney

Hmm, can't download as it says it's been downloaded the maximum allowed number of times. Any chance of a mirror? ---------- Post added at 12:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:10 AM ---------- Nevermind, grabbed it of armaholic, will take a look tomorrow. -If I can sleep tonight in spite of my excitement!
  15. http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6449/sa80risnotes.jpg Hi Stalker, just a few quick points to note from me regarding your excellent rail system: 1. There is a recess in the handguard part to tuck pressure pads for lights/lasers into, the union flag is set into this. (Might make your poly count too high if you integrate this, however). 2. There needs to be a hole for the retaining screw that holds in the sling swivel on the other side just below the foresight mount - this picture shows location more clearly: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z271/challengerone/DSC09845.jpg 3. The front of the rail system needs to have the corner rounded off - this is common with most weapons systems as it stops things getting caught on cam-netting etc. One point regarding the SA80 magazine - the new HKA2 mag grooves go all the way to the bottom of the mag (the Radway Green mags stopped where yours do - just check the reference photo - you can see in the background). That's it from me, can't comment on the front-pistol grip as I've never had one without a light unit on it, there are a number of different grip systems out there, and the issue one probably changes on a tri-monthly basis so might as well just go with what makes most sense/looks best. Aside from that, it's looking great. Please please PM me when you decide to start modelling your CRW (counter terrorist) SAS units as I've got a contact with all the lovely black-kit for reference, I'll get some photos for you. All the best! -Dave
  16. Just a quick point about the rifle in this picture. The SA80 butt has grooves to prevent it slipping from the shoulder in it and two retaining screws: Units look uber-cool!
  17. Dessie stuff looks cracking. Can't see anything to pick holes in yet :-p. Can't wait for your stuff to be released! Please drip-feed us some bits and bobs soon!!!!

  19. Lol it's not mine, I've got to get me a webcam - I've got an extra utility pouch on mine and it's still tighter than that scruff!
  20. Quick points to note on the webbing there; A lot of riflemen (myself included) put the bungee through the lower part of the pouch to hold it all together - on issue pouches there is a small hole located at the bottom of the fastener under the fastening strap. The bungee should go through this and through the loops at the sides of the pouch thus holding it tight. Also missing from the webbing is the sword (bayonet) frog. This can be either strapped across the top of the back pouches using cable ties or attached to the left side of the utility/water bottle pouches. It must always be accessible using the left hand. Will try to get some pics. Unfortunately I won't be able to get to work to photograph my kit for a while. Aha took less time than I thought: And one with the sword on top and the bungee going through the holes on the side of the pouches too: Hope this all helps!
  21. Just check that magazine - should be more flush against the pistol grip. Asides from that, it looks so good I'm just off to change my underwear.
  22. Aww thanks for that Handsy. Bless your heart!
  23. Hi Stalker, here's a link to an airsoft site who sell a replica new style l85a2 handguard. As far as i can see from the pictures its identical. Check out the pics for a detailed view from all angles! http://www.starairsoft.com/product_detail.php?productid=228#
