    The game crashes

Personally I would always suggest updating to the latest version of anything

    Ofp & xp,,not good

alt+tab will get rid of the mouse cursor, however some monitor/gfx card combos don't take too kindly to alt+tabbing, I simply disable w-buffer then enable it again, that removes the double cursor, can't see why it wouldn't for other people

Would you buy a full featured ofp editor?

With the hypothesis that I had a modicum of talent thus being able to create things with such a tool then yes I'd be happy to buy it for a fair price, say no more than $20 or so
  5. Placebo

    Why no training?

The editor is great to practice with the weapons, rpg/law are weapons that really need practice, nothing worse than being in a mission, one law left, pinned down by a bmp at 400yds and you aim too high or low..........

One of the great things about the Kyro2 chipset is that switching between 16bit and 32bit results in only a tiny reduction of FPS

Any other thoughts folks?<span id='postcolor'> You would have to ask Codemasters, it was their insistence that safedisc2 was put onto the game, if memory serves Bis did not want it on but had no choice in the matter because of the publishing contract. Opf isn't the first game to have problems with safedisc, I remember championship manager 3 was so bad they had to release a patch because about 80% of all people who bought it couldn't install the game, iirc Max Payne also needed a patch because a large number of people were unable to install the game because of safedisc.

    Config.bin modifications

I'm becoming increasingly tired of the fact that certain Frag Haus members are continually ignoring our requests to them about their manner, tone and conduct. As Dave correctly pointed out in the second post of this thread the way some of you are conducting yourselves on this forum is not acceptable, we would prefer it if we didn't have to take action against you and remove posting rights but if you continue to behave as you have been that is going to happen.

If you would take sounds from a tv documentation, maybe you would violate no laws? Â <span id='postcolor'> I'm no expert but I would imagine that recording sounds from a tv show would still be an infringement of copyright when used in a commercial product. An example of something similar would be when rappers use sound samples from someone else's songs, they don't need permission (I think) but they do need to pay royalties. I'm showing my age here but I remember when Vanilla Ice released Ice Ice Baby, he used a sample from the song Under Pressure (by Queen and David Bowie) Queen sued and Vanilla Ice was forced to pay over a percentage of all the profits from the single.

    Wake up! 1.46 today!

My mistake it was two million demo downloads.... </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">You recently had 2 million downloads of the Operation Flashpoint demo (or was it one?). How many copies have you sold so far, and how many do you think you would have sold if it was impossible to pirate, at an optimistic guess? It was 2 million downloads in the first two weeks. Operation Flashpoint has been our biggest selling PC game ever. We're aiming to sell over 1m units lifetime, which is pretty good for a PC game. It is so immersive. The guys who wrote it are geniuses. <span id='postcolor'> Taken from here
