operation madman

I cant install furr 2007!! i instakl it and then i went to the place we i installed it at C:\Program files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint and it said it was unistalled. And when i download other furr mods or any other mods, it said it could not find it and said to use the internet explore to find it. i have i goty edition updated to 1.96 and my computer passes the system requirements

I have a goty edition and it is patch with 1.96 but when i install furr2007 it wont launch nor is their a shortcut to it. Whrn i check it out it said it is not Installed. I am a noob and want to start playing this game quick

I am a noob modder and need help.. Were do i start?? what do i get?? And what can a noob modder do?? Can i use some of furr2007 mods with mine or do i have to ask permission?
