walmart is the worlds largest employer, and it just makes life a lot more convenient for hard working people, ie, lots of things under one roof, for a low price. there's nothing wrong with walmart.

i would like to do a mix myself but all i have tim eto do is replace whats there, so either white walls & buildings or not. I'm a full-time university student and airborne infantryman on the verge of deployment, so i simply haven't got the time

If there has already been a topic made about this amazing island, my apologies, but I have searched and found none. I was browsing OFPfiles.com and came across what appeared to be a mediocre map, claiming its made from SAT images. It's not very fancy, but it is the PERFECT island for any type of middle eastern mission, and the best part is, it requires no addons! There is a normal (silver) and a CTI (bronze) version of the island. It says there are 6 files of the island, but the link below is the normal version. Screenshots for this island are pretty much useless, it's pretty much the simplest, yet best Island ever made in my opinion! In the game as it's installed now, go to men, then ACU men or whatever they are called in the editor. TB said there will be a patch out shortly that replaces the default units with the ACU men, until then, you'll have to wait. -

it's been explained several times in this and other recently opened topics how to change it back to default. It's not exactly rocket science; it takes no more than two or three minutes to do. -

Quit crying about it, its his mod, he made it the way he wanted to, whooptedo. I hated the new FOV at first, but play with it for awhile, and youll never want to play without it. It's an acquired taste -

that's what you get for relying on mods for info and not actually being infantry all are burst, the recievers are pretty much restamped and made to fire only burst, no matter what model you have. you would think with all of the M4s out there in this game someone would have figured this out eventually -

and they should not include the M16A4, but the M16A3. The USMC replaced the M16A2 with the M16A4 (with single-burst trigger group) and the army replaced some M16A2's with the M16A3 (with fullauto trigger group). Umm, no. If a medic is attached to an infantry unit, he will use whatever weapon they are assigned. No one really uses M16A2s in Iraq, unless there is pretty much no chance of you being in combat, ie, maintenance people, etc. People that won't ever fire the thing except zeroing and qualification. I don't know why all of the M4's in this mod are full automatic, they are ALL burst in real life! That is, the ones used by light infantry anyways. -

the problem is all of that grass, the island only has 313,000 or so objects when you get rid of the CWC grass. its CWC, and normally wouldnt lag, but when there are 500,000 loaded it, thats what hits performance somehow. i tried deleting it all, and it played just as well, if not better than the original nogova! Also, before removing them, I experimented with the view distance, I was getting 46-59 FPS with a view distance of 500M, when I put it back up to the default 900M, FPS were no more than 30. I play it on 1440 x 900 x 16, with normal terrain detail, object shadows on, FPS up all the way, and details max. Windows XP Media Center Intel Centrino Dual @ 1.66Ghz 1.00 GB of RAM 512 MB Nvidia Graphics Card -

shooting for realism? why do the woodland soldiers have the pasgt helmet and not the mich? why dont the ACU soldiers have a unit patch if they have a combat patch... they are also 3rd ID soldiers, in real life they use m16a4s, as they are mechanized, not light infantry. the aimpoint doesnt zoom in, and in my opinion shouldnt in the game, nor should any of the iron sights for that matter... also, i appreciate your trying to make the game look better, but why mess with the editor, the trees have rock icons, etc. why mess with perfection? it's an eyesore. overall its a great mod, but a bit more attention to detail from your "military advisors" wouldnt hurt ...also, the FOV makes the weapons look away, way too small, if anything it should be closer than default, not further away. -
Who cares, they need to be quared on the target, but NOT like in those pictures. Bend the knees, Sanctuary, just stand up and try it, the more you are bent the less likely you are to be pushes over, and that's the key. Also, they are almost perfectly facing front, ie, because your IBA plates are in the front, and you are more protected facing straight front
