Actually, the marpat was based on something made for the army, although the army rejected it, the marines didn't. ACU works fine in forrested settings -
The man said it will be out in a week or two, what more could you want to know? All we need to know has been answered; he's planning on releasing SOMETHING. Now for the hard part... waiting.

I had originally nicely placed buildings from a beta 'eastern buildings pack' but they were missing LODS, and were full of bugs, and seeing as i don't believe they will ever be updated, i just replaced them with other libya addons. as you can see i neglected to replace some, ie, some rest areas and gas stations are missing buildings close to them. i've thought about replacing the bases with mapfact barracks, and will probably do so in the future. since the release i've fixed a few odds and ends, and placed market stands in all of the towns, to help add a bit of realism. when i'm finished ironing out the major drawbacks, i'll release a version with all brown buildings and walls as well. it's just too hard to pick which village should be white, and which should be brown, as they both look so good... again, my apologies for the lack of proper credits in the readme

I meant the REAL LIFE video in the bottom portion of that page, yes, they sound like that in real life. You rarely hear the actual report of the rifle firing. Â It's entirely possible in OFP, all one needs to do is get audacity and after converting the video to wave, clip some sounds, and replace the default bullet whizz, or ECP whizzes, et cetera. It hurts your ears it's so loud with they crack overhead. -

People, I'm telling you, if you think it's good now, download that WGL texture pack and it looks 10 times better, links in the first post. Â I had originally made most of the towns with the brown buildings, but it really looks better with them the washed out color, and it saves me the trouble of pondering which town should be which color. Â I'll probably make a version with all brown buildings and walls if everyone would like. Is anyone else getting a missing P3d error, other than that one guy?

for all addons with custom heads, in the units config, one must add eventhandlers... the same way the model is defined, et cetera. when making a custom config with WGL, there are places for model, etc, but none for eventhandlers -

Nogova isn't a country, that's the problem, it's generally considered part of the czech republic, afterall, the island is in the middle of a lake! That's great to talk about, but in reality no renegade colonel would waste his time, or mens lives taking over some shitty little island like nogova that has a next to nothing economy.

it's not as heavy as it looks, it has molle fasteners that attach to the IBA, the IBA is the heavy thing. combat load is like twelve magazines for us, plus someone has to carry extra saw(magazines) or 240 ammo. i just use that because i hate having to arrange pouches on the vest itself, and that way i can wear it without a vest, if it's not required (it almost always is) -

Seeing as I'm working on my masters degree, yes, I do know what it means. In a case such as this mod, the one who releases info concerning patching, updates, et cetera is generally considered the public relations person, ie, thunderbird, as was previously stated. Seeing as this doesn't have a whole lot to do with the patch, keep it in PM -
