It's hard to hit anything when your're all worked up about being shot at...trust me. HD mags make it easier to hit things in game than it would be in real life. also, the m16a1s rate of fire is a good deal slower than it was in real life... also, if time allows, consider replacing things such as the mosin sniper and k98 with the lib ones, as the rest are already replaced.

There has to be something wrong with your OFP setup. Â I run this on a laptop with a 1.6 centrino dual, 1 Gig ram, and an nvidia go7400 and it's playable, with dxdll. I'm not sure if this has been explained, but why no blood textures on the faces...? Obviously it takes a lot of time to do this, but just curious! ...and white bullet puffs?

reading and or watching too much news... you can only learn so much from a manual. it takes actually going through a us army school to actually be somewhat proficient at it.

Actual the damage on a tank isnt just a hole and a solid tank like youd think. I've seen some iraqi tanks scattered about after being hit by jav's, etc, and there isn't a whole lot left. It all just depends on what shot the tank, and what kind of round it was.

This update is literally beyond words. I always download the others, only to delete them after lag, and just outdated models, etc. But this honestly lives up to the name, vietnam the experience. It's an experience unlike any other for OFP. My only gripe is that the towns could have had a little more TLC

The one you have now will be it, I'm afraid. I've stopped work on that, as I'm now working for the IM:UC mod. I would like people to make good missions, perhaps with the dynamic AI creator for Arabia, as the 'new' version (release date unknown, not due to myself) doesnt differ much from the one you all have now. The towns are in the same place, but the whole map doesnt use a single BIS, or DMA Libya object. That's all I can say for now.

Here's exactly what to do: Don't post here again until you have done this, because it will work if you do exactly what I say. 1.Install OFP/RES, or GOTY, whichever you have. 2. Install the 1.96 final patch 3. click campaign on the main menu If you do exactly what that says, nothing more, nothing less, I guarantee you it will work. Coming here saying it won't work without having actually tried it makes you seem like quite the idiot.

so you have two favorite mods in the same category? the best all around mod is hard to say. ECP has nice effects, although they are flat out unrealistic. WGLs ai behaviour is second to none, and ffurs using the latest and greatest addons is quite nice...

WGL isn't about looks. It's about AI, if you actually make a mission, they will behave totally different from res. FFUR is mainly a visual asthetic, and isn't catered towards realism maniacs, althogh it does change some things.
