oh my great model ... loose those beams tho.. thats way to many polys on 2nd grade detail that can easliy be made using textures other than that... big thumbs up

Ye its not bad looking ... leading edge on the fins is too square .. merge those points . tbh tho it is way too big for anything other than eye candy and for that end you might as well have aimed even bigger as for usable SAM's in arma and ofp ... i think SA-2 is about right for the bigger size .

Agree with Miles Teg Arma needs more statics Would you also consider making a generic defence position for it for an emplaced scenario ? Would save much time for mission makers , work better and look better than having to place it with Wood Fence and Fortress 1 . made these for ofp ages ago but never finshed them fully , feel free to rip it apart . ofp example its the kind of thing i mean , maybe an urban and rural example .

I know a lot think its high poly but with the tracks gone its going to be fine . But if you manage to animate the tracks then thats great . also rivets on the wheels i am sure could be done with textures . Tracks have to be animated via textures , i have seen screens of the VBS2 bomb disposal and would be keen to know if it is possible. far cry from a simple track like on the bot to a fully linked APC or tank track tho . -

Great game .. plays smooth as silk , graphics and sound are top notch ... i hate thumbsticks but even so was still able to hit most crap i aimed at . CoD4 = fun

If you cannot make comments without appearing to be so rude please refrain from making them. ok you guys seem a bit sensitive here lol, it wasnt meant as a insult, arma is a realistic game and bf2 not, therefore my comment. "no interior view" means that he won´t make optics too right? so i have to drive/aim this tank from 3rd person view? that´just don´t fit to arma. Interiors and optics are totaly seperate If you are that concerned about the project go away and learn somthing about Ofp Arma moding that might be usefull . the best place to start is the Ofp moding threads as the knowledge base is wider and the techniques are very similar .

Looks great , tracks have to be done via texture . cant animate the 3d track : / the way Ofp and arma handles tracks is like a rubber band with textures animating aound it .. you can cut holes into the track via alpha cuts ... the big ribs on it wont be possible . from the vid its a mini death machine so far , duno about real handling but i figure it might not go as fast as that , its gona be low geared for torque .

In Ofp all lights had I.D numbers so you can scritpt them off .. possible to set them all to off on a scripted trigger maybe ?

Very wrong , the pressure wave generated by .50 entering and then exiting a body will burst it like a mellon . yes true this effect would be realistic , but not really needed . -
Not spent much time playing arma , few hours runing about or riding in Sp@ced's little birds in MP games Came as quite a shock to see the Vulcans running gear with its fully modeled drive sprocket and idler ... i spose it would be worth trying it with the orriginal wheels you modeled .. if it runs like a shed then go with the simple ones .

Aye its a nice scim Tracks and wheels ... the tracks dont animate rather the texture animates around them .. so having modeled teeth is pointless as they will never move .. as sugested use alpha textures to cut holes in track and wheels . only thing that shouts out is the sight looks a bit small and squared *edit ..and the extinguishers can be simplified i think

great stuff , nice to see splash damage is not as harsh in arma was funy at end when one shell went straight through the slot but they stand up well to the abuse .. btw what was being fired at them ?
