  3. No, i think we must implement version number in save game and warn or denide, when you wil try to load old savegame in to newer build. People dont read readme files.
  4. Please calm down, we dont know whats happen. Hope its just wrong DVD or some registry, autosave files from previous versions instaled on tester PC. Worst variant could be that DVDs are made badly. Im sure that morphicon will check it. Most of errors that they are reporting are strange and we need to know more. If there was bugs due installation, lot of strange behavior can apear.
  5. We are not sure, but it looks like that. But its our fail, that we alow to load savedata from diferent build. We cant expect from newspeople, that they will understand to technical things.
  6. We are trying to wath what happen, but from errors that they are reporting it looks that they had instaled preview version and after that they install GM. In case that they tryed to replay some missions or campaign with old autosave data or save game, lot of structures will be inconsistent and could produce crashes or script fails like that. Will se what happens :(

    Hmm, maybe i have bad eyes, but it looks that neer house is blended in to backround with smoke-in strange perspective and second soldier have white border on some parts of gun. Look like three mixed layers in PS again (with wrong picture cut)? Hmm, maybe just strange sshot.

    I think we put that out, there was not enought stages in shader, or some problems with animated normal maps, not sure now. But in bad weather, water move with many waves, so its not so much visible in fact.

  13. We just want to show war as it is with some moral consequences. Maybe from that point of view you will find more important things in ARMA then colour of AK grip. This game is not about fun from shooting, its more like if somebody like to read literature of fact or watch documentary film. Not for children, its about mature thinking...
  14. No, all press verssions are from Feb, it takes some time to prepare them and to be fair all must recive same verssion, later or sooner
  15. To be more clear, we just do for examle 100 sshots and choose from them 10 best, but we never touch them. Never render, paint them, mix them, nothink like that, what is comon these days.
  16. Destructible houses was not iplmented in february build, please calm down and be patient, press version is from alpha, no final voiceover, no buildings destruction, not final UI and still some bugs. It for showing basic game conceps and overal atmosphere.
  17. All get same version from february (this is reason why they have small clutter visibility), so tiscali have some serious HW problems ( we ask them, but they was not able to answer) or they just have some personal problems with us......

  19. This preview was not correct, balanced and brake embargo for press, after our urge was deleted from Tiscali.
  20. For better performance you can use some small fast SSD disk, it really help for game loading and lods and texture streaming.
  21. Im playing arma2 on dual core and ATI 4870 and its work well, we tested X2 cards and work fine without problems. I dont have same hw as i had when develop AA, so cant compare directly.
  22. Arma2 depend more on CPU then armed assault, AI use that much more intensive
