First off, I think that Terox should be making tons of money somewhere as a Project Manager !!! I don't particularly agree with the rigid lines of control, but do see the benefits of a set of tools/scripts that are common amongst any mission pack. I have a few unfinished missions I would be willing to polish, and submit. If a set of tools were agreed upon maybe even use them to finish some missions completely. I Will Participate

Someone made an addon a long time ago of the Star Wars speeder bike that acts like a hover craft would. (Cool addon btw - I like the noise it makes.) I would look at how its was configed.

I have been playing since the demo, and am an American that ordered version 1.0 from codemasters in the U.K. the day it was released there and payed extra for shipping to Kentucky!!!

I would hope that there would be a built in way to create mission briefings, and set other parameters like respawn, and weapons pool from inside of the editor. I have a few decent missions that have not been released because of the pain of going to a 3rd party app to create these things.

This way I can "go back" If I find out that I screwed up tactically. For example, suppose I just got out of a fire fight and my whole squad is dead. I would now make a save, renaming the previous save with my squad alive. I can then go on and play some more, and if I need to I can restore back to a point int the game when my squad was alive. If I used the -savegame cheat I wouildn't be able to do this.

What I do is pause OFP, Alt-Tab out to my desktop, then open c:\program files\codemaster\operationflashpoint\users\username\saved\campaigns\campaign name folder and rename the save.fps file to something descriptive. Then Alt-TAB back to OFP. press ESC to go back to the game then press ESC again to pause. Voila! I know have the Save option again!! Now you can have as many saves as you care to make per mission !!!

I have just started having addon limit problems myself. In my case the game goes to black screen and then the machine reboots!! This started happening after I added about 25-30 new addons from my primary machine (which runs fine with over 1gig of addons). If I remove these new addons I can start the game just fine, If I add a few or in the case of a large addon just 1 more to the adon directory I get reboots. I added another 128 MB RAM to this macine and it didn't help, I freed up an additional 1.5 GB of disk space thinking it might have run out of swap space or something and it didn't help. I've even drastically reduced the addons on this machine and moved some things to mod folders (SEB_Nam for one). I've also tried the -nomap which produced different results, the game crashed with an error something like "can't open resource file (reload.wav)" My question is what determines how many addons a particular machine can support? Is it the amount of RAM? (doesn't seem to be as I added an Additional 128 MB). Amount of disk? Video memory? (this machine has a 64 MB Radeon 7200, my other machine has a 64 MB geforce and works fine with many more addons installed.)

Please make the outside riders an option if possible. It looks very kewl, but in OFP its just too easy to kill off those guys who can't shoot back, and take forever to disembark!!

I think you guys are thinking to narrowly. The Tonal stuff is all fictitious, so wouldn't it be reasonable to believe their next project is fiction influenced by reality? This makes sense from the BAS team perspective because you then avoid the "so and so army doesn't use so and so equipment/camo/etc" from some people. If it's their creation the army uses whatever BAS says they use.

I having some problems with the MOD. Â Whenever there are ANY air units I get the message Script \GMR\check_dammage_air.sqs not found and cannot play the mision from the editor. Any else seen this or know a fix? Â Another problem: Can't aim or move when using pistols. This works fine with-out GMR Mod. I have GMRExplode setup in it own addon dir.

Thanks for the kudos Leone. Â I've got a Jersey wall almost ready also. Â Not reall happy about how it sits on slopes though and can't figure out how to make it "conform" to the slope. See how one end kinda floats? Â And this isn't even a very steep slope! -

Great model and I've been looking for something like this for awhile, but..... It seems it's a little bit too tough and too powerful!! a 12.7 gun that takes out a t80? it takes 2 sometimes 3 LAWs to kill the thing?
