Nope,but if gripers get out of control they just start "breeding" en mass and become larger and larger,I admit I am basicly griping about them and griping isn't helpful in any way but it gets irritating hearing the same thing over from them,so I'm just going to irritate them with the same thing,basicly my kind way of saying "please shut the hell up". The game itself was declared last summer,or went into production anyway,there was alot of confusion because OFP:E and early Armed Assault looked exactly alike. As for the dissapointments,I can't say I understand,then again I'm not looking purely at graphics and so far we are not sure how things work because we have not seen it,and anybody with a brain would know that things won't function how they do in the press demo,such as the physics and all that. So if they keep up their griping,I will keep with mine.
Progress updates yes,asking over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over when its going to be out doesn't quite fit the topic.

Thats a given,I was just saying I'm curious how it will work,in terms of reflections you won't really be close enough atleast in combat and using mode,to see wether or not the reflection really shows if it reflects its enviroment.

IIRC somebody said the radio's with the beeping are crypted or something,I'm not sure how it works but the radio waves are harder to decipher,so they say.

Yes this forum is a place you can tell your opinion,but griping about a release date won't help anything but irritate other members,like said,if your having that much problem,go outside,waiting all the time on the computer isn't going to help anything but mess up your head and make you more impatient,it will be out when its done,as per OFP,its not dead,its actually quite far from dead,things being released weekly or so,no I wouldn't say its dead,most of the community members that make addons are sitting in wait for Armed Assault. If your sick of the stuff then the answer is simple,don't look or pay attention to them.

Don't get your hopes up,somebody may be trying to distribute the demo for money,and get themself a nice law suit against em. Though it matches with Q4,I wouldn't get my hopes up too much about this date
until we can get an official solid date. -
I hope like hell that little action menu is there,sure it was a bit annoying for those that are impatient or aren't used to it,but I can't imagine OFP without it,alot of people wanted to get rid of it because they whined it was too complex,sorry their minds can't handle it but it opens many doors,on vehicles it decides which seat you can get in,its a huge plus for community members because they can script many actions you can do with a vehicle into it,like opening things and deploying,many things,so I hope like hell they don't get rid of it simply because a few impatient people can't take the time to get familiar with it,same thing with the command system,I didn't find it hard at all,and yet I hear people whining about it alot,saying its not user friendly,it is,but it makes you THINK,oh dear me..you have to get familiar with the menu and learn what does what...oh the crime!
I think dedicated stores may carry it,I had a hard time finding OFP:E in many stores,including the infamous 'wal mart' but I only found it at GameStop,the staff seemed to actuallly be made of gamers too. I don't think AA will have too much problems,everyone goes by graphics and crud so I'm sure that will get more people,and of course the veterans will generally want to get it,I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hum... I'm not so optimistic. I think it will be a BIG deception for all fans... Not Arma related... But all the comunity want ARMA or something that is Arma related. 2 days before a major disappointment.
Major dissapointment caused by those whom are greedy and want nothing more than things for themself and the game to be out as soon as possible,rather than those who want to wait for it to be finished and not rushed out.
Dissapointment is caused by opinion,it is not BIS's fault,it is the one who views it.

Seems they also took that extra step with the rocket pod,and by that I mean and extra set of faces to form the outside rather than a texture.

Nobody else is really happy about it either. Perhaps the ones that like to have alot of arcade but not many OFP'rs,personally I hope they change it back to how it was.

Flying in OFP isn't really all that difficult,but you can easily tell who has a mouse and who doesnt,depending on how 'twitchy' a persons movements are in an air vehicle,not to mention a joystick gives a whole new freedom aspect to helicopter and especially jets,doing all those things at once isn't so difficult..hell I do it even in bf2...my advice would be practice,it would not be a good thing at all if the dev's made flying so much more simpler because somebody didnt want to train themselves,damn lazy *********************** ****** *** *** *** ...........*cough* I'v had too many experiences of people whining about weapons or controls because it wasn't easy enough for them to use and they would not practice,so they just made good cannon fodder.

In terms of advancements and stages,I'd say Armed Assault is possibly going into phase 5,I'v given explanations for them so I won't go into search here,but yes,Armed Assault and Game2,one of which we have heard nothing of,well....other than a few 5-15 second clips and whatnot,BIS is pretty busy no doubt,and maybe they are working on improving some things,like remaking a texture here or there,who knows,you just have to be patient like the rest of us,or you can join the group that 'demands' the release and the date and whines and gripes,both groups have one thing in common,both have to wait,both know it,one is just more patient than the other.

So its a possible misplacement of the proxy? Hmm..that would make sense. I am curious as to why the cockpit windows are seperate from the model,you can see the line..wonder if they might be openable,guess we'll find out in the final game.

WIP people,say it with me WIIIP,Woooork,Iiiiin,Proooogressss....hmm...now lets see..what does that mean? WIP...well it means that THEIR NOT DONE ><. Yeesh,c'mon people,use your minds,why would they release the game with a glitch like that hm? They'll fix it,have some faith in them.
Have to admit though,thats the damn sexiest Cobra texture in general I have ever seen,the rivet detail is so fine,you see them and yet you dont,and the details on that AIM-9...just beautiful...aside from its current size issue,its nothing short of amazing,I'v never seen a cobra like that from the COMPANY that looked so great,hope it performs great too.

Havent seen much of the vehicles or the neighborhoods either,just like the oil derrecks we saw in some early images but not since
I believe they have the stuff,their just hiding it,too many things to make me believe that. -
Don't forget,if the game gets too violent it may not be released in certain countries or something of that nature because of all the bullshit going on..oh yes we can have people screw hookers and kill them with a bat or something,we can have games that people can walk down the street and just shoot people for no apparent reason but then people cry out when a war game has violence..lesigh...people are really dumarses at times...oh well. Problem is too much violence may or may not be good,don't forget about those 'poor misguided' children that can't distinguish reality from games,and of course if the game comes out the kid is going to say "oh mommy a war game!" and like a fool the parent buys it without checking and then becomes infuriated the COMPANY when they find out the game they BOUGHT THEIR CHILD has violence. On another note some people just may not want it,its a difficult thing to be sure,having it as an option may be good,but I think in the end run,it probably won't be included in the game and would be more up to a person to mod it. I mean hell,the blood cloud and blood marks are usually more than what you see in most todays games. Even Resident Evil 4 had no blood when you shot people,sure there was a part where there was a woman with a pitchfork through her skull with trails of blood and whatnot but theres no actual blood when you shoot the 'zombies',and most war games don't have blood either. The most I'v seen so far would be perhaps a wound decal in a persons body,OFP had something similar but it kind of appeared more realistic,and OFP:E was more violent than OFP in the way of those textures,in OFP if you shoot somebody in the face you see the front of their face covered in a bit of an odd ketchupy looking blood. In OFP:E if somebody is shot in the head half of their entire head is covered in blood and if I am correct there is also a bullet hole in the forehead. And yes the blood is like a spatter and not so 'well kept' like OFP.

Steam...bad idea,but I'm just going to point out the most 'obvious' and not really rant on it,the downloading and connecting to verify files,it takes a long time and those without internet are basicly screwed.

Im tired of all these previews. I want game! Now.
As do the rest of us,but thats not going to get the game out faster and won't do anything other than irritate others.

If you guys are getting impatient its your own fault.
Yes I'm sure they would like to have the game out but its obviously not money they are after,otherwise (once more) the game would have been out long ago.
Sorry guys and gals but you have to wait like the rest of us wether you like or not. And they said that the date in terms of months is around October/September,if its not released by then we simply wait,if you want to move to another game feel free,we aren't gonna stop you.
