    looking forward to wednesday, too bad the markers thingy, it was anoying and frustating for admins. I´ve experienced that also, trying to make sure things run how their suposed to run, and someone just mess things up Now i got my microphone instaled
  2. I think some new mods would be kewl: Something like a whole Battlefield, like if u where in a WW2 Rommels Desert Wars. Like the Online Game "WW2 Europe Online". A mega Server that holds thousands of players strugling betewn Alies and Axis. The server would record all data so the next day we continue on our conquest. There would be a full dynamic military structure, Generals, would assign the new human players to the squads/platoons/companies/regiments/etc, and clans also would be assinged with theyr players together in a squads/platoons/companies/regiments/etc . There would be a server stats based on the military structures, then promotions and all the stuff. Lol the campaings could end in a month or in a year. Depends if the enemy is stronger or not. Taking bis game 2 units. It would be US vs RUSSIA. And u would be able to see a terriotorial Map of all The World. Then u could enter the area ur Nickname/ur clan was assigned and do ur job. While other players do they own job in the other areas. Lets imagine in 2010 russia would control a part of europe and america another part, then could have naval battles in north atlantic, and aerial combats. Then russia could invade america after europe total invasion, or the contrary. America could enter south asia and invade russia, or the contrary :P u can check the ww2 online game website to compreend this great idea. Also for that we would need a very good netcode, ability to hold lots of pll at the same time, and JIP makes this idea alot more easy. Anyways this would be the greatest battlefield recreation ever, just think about it, also there could be a servers relay sistem so its not concentrated in a server only. Pre estabilished server would control a aerea, so u enter the main server u go to the area ur assigned (web format, forums, sign in, like a league) then it automaticly transfers u to the server that is responsable for that area. In each area there would be a Commander, that would lead all the other human players. For that it would need lots and lots of maps, bis may not have the time, buts theres us the modding comunity and ability for new map and addons updates. Also this would make able to have 24h pll on the servers, because pll from all over the world would play it and keep the battlefield active. Think of this a as a massive Online Campaing, but to understand this better u should go to WW2 Online Web Page Its too complex to explain, but this is the best way to make ofp the best war simulation game, i think ofp1 mission concept(special forces kind, VBS1 kind, little squads kind) its not huge enough for online playing, or we shall not call bis game 2 a war simmulation but a squad simmulator. ;) Of course for this bis game 2 would need to be perfect both in naval and air not only ground, like puting together lockon, silent hunter and OFP2 :P now i wana see ur comments on this, this possible not ?

    well the best way to understand this is to go to that game website. Did u noticed that thers evolution in the arms sistem, for example in website shows that a new airplane model as been researched and constructed, this aplied to this idea, would put the new community addons as a tecnological advance to the battlefield =message in board= a new unit type as been contructed / research. and everyone on battlefield gets to used it. This way the new addons can be used for something ;) About areas, as new areas are devolped new conflits could occur in there. In this battlefield sistem u could recreate pretty much everywar(though new addons and areas needed). Like i said a War Simmulator. Combats could be scheduled or not, clan matches during other plls battles, stuff like that. Though this would be a 24h non stop mod. Would need alot of organization. If u see in that game link the moderators are the game developers ;)

    yes, thats i said about the areas. Maybe world is alot big but thats why i said modding community, initaly we can start from a few areas but then with maps being made and new addons it can expand. ;) still its very complicated

    what would you play ?

    I think as ofp is meant to be played as team, and the realistic way. About the modes, ctf and deadmatch it will just turn ofp like i did for sometime into a frags counter game (like cs or other game). Coop is the mod that is meant to ofp. But some new concepts of coop should be made, like coop human vs coop human. Also would be nice to see some new realistic mods.

    well i guess i should have got a x700, i think ati its better for ofp. i just sent my grafic card to be tested at the shop. Also in battlefields mission i get like 30fps with 900 vd without dxdll, thats very low for a 6600GT pci-e. also thers fade out when in dark i mean in cessena when i look to right or left instruments fade out for 2 secons or more. Its kinda suckky seems the whole game is lagged. and i tried 10 diferent drivers.

    i think ofp must have a diferent leveing terrain system, one that alows u to change height not from 50m to 50m but in anyplace that way we can have alot more realistic islands and tows, and "holes" etc etc rapels :P

    yea but maybe some special forces in 2010 use some digital binoculars: Zoom controled by motor (lens motor movemnt) Coordinates Thermal / Night ScreenShot ;) that would be realistic in case of special forces

    we cant folow our comments by the pics that a ofp 2 engine with ofp 1 stuff in it. To get rid of the ofp1 stuff in it they need time lol the time till 2006. We cant judge by pics cuz its a new engine with ofp1 stuff in it ;)

    i have serious problems i tried lots of drivers and when i turn reflections it kills it to 2-4 fps. also i feel the game its lagged I have xfx 6600gt pci-e i dont know if the vga is damaged or not. i tried a x300 and it was smooth and better fps.

    its just awsome how "flashpoin2" its gona become, sayng this based on the press info. But until Q4 2006(winter) im sure new grafics tecnologies will be out and the engine will become even better, also this is alpha/beta stage engine so this gona be best game ever even in grafics :P

    very nice work, as this is alpha or beta alot of stuff to be done but grafics are already wicked , perhaps later we will have new pics of the map features, such like grass movement and not like xbox grass, underwater, stuff like that

    lol i was for a moments than i saw other pics and edited the post :P it looks nice mostly cuz of the new ligthing effects but too mutch effects and it will look too much digital and less analog(like movies or our eye). Though its a great work, :

    If thoose 51 pictures are ofp2 when its full worked on, it will have the better grafics i have saw notice the terrain it havent been worked on and it already looks great, lol this pics should have passed trought the Anti Alising filter :P Though i still hope its AA ;)

    yes i think that, but when they say new engine i automaticly think of vbs engine improvements (like in that video). Its still ofp with improvements.

    just a thought, but someone u know thinks the same way, aka komuna ;). Im pretty sure ..., how would they get time to start a new engine diferent than xbox, also vbs2 havent been confirmed or "talked", it has only been talked "a new upcoming module". i based this on E3 Ralps report, he says that xbox is diferent to AA thats why it makes me think of vbs. Guess well just have to wait and see ... wells its worth it

    Like i said before im pretty sure that Armed Assault Uses the same Engine as VBS2 (stated above as VBS Upcoming module ) ;) And i guess that we would not have AA if it wasnt for the VBS2 developers, so i think we should be greatfull that vbs was invented cuz the vbs2 guys did the work for AA (lol now vbs price complaning threads should be history ;))

    i think we need: Realistic Enviroinment(underwater, air, and terrain) Realistic Grafics Realistic Fisics the rest was been posted before, but these 3 topics are essencial to be real so the missions can be real and therefore the game real and the gameplay real :P
