Think they try to call it the Individual Weapon again now, dunno why...SA80 sounds better. Ok,so the rifle does jam, and does melt, and doesnt work when its hot-cold wet-dry or any other climate, but it is designed that if in doubt there is one thing a member of the army can do at close range....twat the f****r with the thing and run I have previously fired an L98, single shot version of the SA80 and its good fun, when u dont have live rounds popping out and rolling down the range, makes a nice noise too (BOOM)

Us British people do have our successes. I mean, as mentioned we took the AH-64, made it a whole lot better and called it a WAH-64 Apache Longbow (or Longbow Apache....i dont know which). However in places we are still kind of backwards. Take the Jaguar....how many refits have those things gone through. The MoD seem to take the old Jaguars, put something minor in like a new ejection seat handle.... call it a new aircraft and then say its gonna last another 10 years. SA80 is now one of the best weapons in the world of its type, just a shame not everyone in the armed forces has the updated version yet. This weapon SHOULD be put into OPF along with standard British troops.

You put an Abrams turret on the top of any car and it would most likely crush the thing...let alone putting one on a Trabant (which in OPF u can destroy with a few bursts of M-16 fire).

There are a number of people talking about how they would like to see an OPF2 (if there will be one) focusing on Multiplayer and improving the Netcode. Now thats great for some of you but the rest of us that sit around on our 56K analogue connections it means nothing to us. I would rather see an excellent Single Player game with a good LAN potential than see a practically multiplayer-only game as i would simply....not buy it. Oh yeah, next time BIS.......PUT THE BRITISH ARMY IN THE GAME :-) and keep up the good work.

Does anyone know how much the "extended armour" helps the BRDM...because i just realised how little it takes to make the thing crumple. Want another example...shoot the Trabant 3 or 4 times with an M-16 :-|
