I've tried having @BlastCore at the front and back but I still seem to be missing the big old explosions when things are destroyed e.g. at 0:24 and 1:32 of this little video (used without ACE and the previous version) I made a couple of weeks ago to show the wonderful mod to a friend: Here is what I have in my target line: -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_RU;@ACEX_USNAVY;@JSRS-E;@JSRS-V;@JSRS-VW;@JSRS-W;@BlastCore Thanks again, Lewis. -

Thanks for replying, yeah, I've disabled ACEX_SM and I seem to have some of Blastcore's features, although the destruction explosions are still standard for me. No large rising smoke or those huge explosions that occur when a plane crashes. Guess I'll keep tinkering about in my folders until I come across a solution. Lewis -

Apologises if this has been asked before but is it possible to use the latest version with ACE? I adore this mod's explosions but ACE seems to overrule them. -

When V1.00 is released, will we have to download the entire mod again? Or will they be a beta to v1.00 conversion patch? Great work by the way, enjoying this mod tremendously! -

Excellent! Big fan of the Norwegians here :). I've used Freddern's special forces units quite often in ARMA 2, I even made a with them. It will be great to see more standard units though, and I really appreciate what you're doing.I'd love to see a Norwegian Combat Vehicle 90 too, but you obviously have you hands full already. I'm looking forward to a release and any future content you add! -

Ignoring enemy fire

Thanks guys, I'll try those. I have tried disableAI previously, I forgot to mention that, but I haven't used some of those parameters. I'll try some of the ones I haven't tried later. I did manage to find a small work around by simply not using groups and individuals instead, they still stop when coming under fire though, but it solved some of the other issues I was having with the group leaders, still it's not very logical so I'll try those disableAIs soon. -
Hello there, please excuse my lack of scripting talent, if this is common knowledge among you lot. For a mission I'm making, I want a bunch of groups to run while under fire from enemy static gun emplacements. I've set a waypoint with speed as 'FULL' and combatmode as 'Never fire' so that they don't stop and shoot while running. I've already added a trigger so that the units are always standing up while running. However, whenever the groups come under fire from the enemy units, the squad leaders make a halt hand signal and most of the groups slow down doing that slow walk thing instead of running. It looks rather silly watching all the units walking about while they are under heavy fire so I was wondering if there is a script/trigger about that makes AI ignore enemy fire, so that they don't stop running, nor do they shoot, hold position, or walk. Just a continuous sprint/jog to their destination, think of it a bit like one of those soviet infantry charges during WW2. I've tried using the 'SAFE' and 'CARELESS' commands too but that seems to make more walk and most of them still stop running after coming under enemy fire. Any help is much appreciated, Lewis.

Sorry for taking this thread up again.. I have to confirm Dwardens report about the replacement pack.. it really does some bad stuff to the soldier model: [/url]]http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/7964/wtfdy9.th.jpg[/img][/url] (The screen is from 1.12b + QG and loads of mods, but I tested it also without mods on 1.12b, on 1.08 and with/without QG.. all the same) However the model itself works perfeclty fine! Just the replacements dont seem to work (Tried both of the "official ones" and even did my own one, still the same bug) Any possible way to fix it? That would be great Maybe its SLX People causing it somehow? EDIT: FIXED! Me and Ryan_D (Aliens 4.0 addon author ) managed to fix the replacement (no more crazy models now! ) The archive contains 2 pbo's - one replaces only US Snipers, the second one replaces US and SLA snipers http://mihd.net/ksnx3ve LINK UPDATED! Files are now also binarized and signed. Bikey included. If there's any problem with releasing this fixed version, just let me know and I'll take it down Hope there won't be any and you all will enjoy it as much as I do Thank you very much! ive been experiencing the same problem but I cannot seem to download your fix from that link?
