hi! it's my first post in this topic. I haven't read the 167 pages of posts so maybe what i'm going to write is already present in this thread. We have an european channel, nammed ARTE. Last evening, it showed a documentary on the CIA, "the CIA secret wars". It was the third part which was treating about the last ten years (from gulf war to 11th september). People who are talking in this documentary are old CIA or FBI directors and members of these agencies. I guess it could be very interesting for people posting in this thread to see this program. you can download it on e-mule. If you want just informations about it, you can go to see arte-tv web site: http://www.arte-tv.com/dossier/dossier.jsp?node=371331 the site is in french and german. (no! it's not a Chirac/Schröder conspiracy against GWB:p )

first, nice looking addon. then, i tested it in the editor and it causes lag. i tested it on nogova and tonal. It was the only unit on the map and when i use the first person view it lags a lot, but really a lot. If i use the third person view, there's no lag anymore. It lags with the empty version of the lav. If i come close to the vehicle and zoom on it, it lags. When i open the back doors and look inside it lags too. If i'm at the gunner position, it lags too. am i the only one to have such a problem?? my ofp settings are: 1024x768 normal terrain view distance: 1200 my pc config: athlon 1800+ (1.5Ghz) 512 ddram radeon 8500 i don't think it comes from my settings or my config. hoping this bug report could help you. EDITED: i forgot to tell you that i was testing it under the 1.91 version. i didn't test it under 1.92 or 1.94.

(theavonlady @ Oct. 19 2003,16:59) ok, so if it would be as you pretend, i could pay for it. But i would still feel that something's wrong with it. I understand that in such a case paying is necessary and normal, but i would feel like i'm "trapped"...that the future of the game depends too much on the company goodwill... perhaps, i'm too paranoiac anyway, if i would pay to play on line, i would pay one or two euros, not more.

i would never pay to play on line. It's not about money. I just want to be abble to play a game many years after i bought it. Once the servers are closed, no game anymore. Â it's sad...

I'm new here, as an active member, so i followed your advice. But is what i wrote "so secret" that we should never post it?

Edited:"OUPS" If you only installed OFP and the gold upgrade, the version running on your pc should be the 1.30. if you don't have resistance, i guess you have to buy another copy...

Your opinion of what addons and types of missions
laulau replied to The Frenchman's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I agree with avon lady: More good quality missions , especially Coop missions with more ways to complete objectives. About addons, i'd like to see more addons allowing to create diversity for the environment. Civilian stuff to make towns look more realistic, less empty...
