I 'saw'/expirienced much much worse 'out there'; totally self ego-ed, God like(the site, that is Me), deeply with the 'real life' frustrated(everything is going wrong for me today, so I'm in a bad mood, therefore I'll pick on you, the user; you'll receive a lecture even for a wrong spelling, and if you'll even slightly complain about it I'll ban your arse) moderators. Placebo was a very good moderator, I think many new and future mods can learn from his patience, and 'moding tolerance'. I wish you a good luck in future steps in your life.

It's a looooong time since I last time played this mission,,,but I remember I never had such problems. Do you play the campaign with some mod(s) or something? This can sometimes mess with the mission's settings, especially with the older missions like this. If you do, try to play it without them. If you don't,,,well, then the only thing I can recommend you is to keep trying, and to play it strictly as the mission requires from you. I assuming there's the 'last loon' condition for the completition of that objective, so probably there still something smells like the enemy; it can be not completely destroyed tank with some crew member alive inside that tank for instance... My respect for this.

The specs of your comp should be quite enough to run OFP satisfiently 456820. I have a better comp than you, and this campaign still lags, not so much as yours, but it does. That's just how a Tonal Island is; laggy, especially with the lots of units on it.

Played this before. Quite nice skirmish with insane amount and type(armour) of units for that tiny island. Great entertainment.  That skirling ,,, a masterpiece dude!   Those soldiers are a real disco pussies.

From 14th of October we have a new local sport channel is our country, with matches from the England, German, French, Italian, Spanish leagues,,,it's just too much! Man Utd 2-0 Liv'pool, just finished. Not a memorable match.

There's also a nasty bug in this mission; one of those BMPs can go/float right (left from the player's point of view), end get stuck on the high cliffs there e.g. never came on shore. Because is a last loon condition to finish this mission, the mission won't end. So, you must go down there, find and RPG him. Happened to me couple of times. But in general I like this mission; it's plain simple, no deep tactical/realistical philosophing in it, just pure enjoyment/massacring of the enemy. @CameronMcDonald How many attempts took you to show your 'Rambo card'? Â

If it helps you, Bloody Wolf (and you burroughs, so you can stop bashing your head ), I had exsactly the same problems with the mission as burroughs. Have you tested it ONLY with the needed addons in the mod folder? This might help you -also in the future testing- to find such an errors/unnecessary addon requirements.

It fools me though,,, And I like to hear it from JW that misunderstanding is here on place, then'll edit/erase that post. Yea, good stuff bardosy, I'm enjoying it. Try to set his position: where needed make a trigger over the marker with Condition: _osama_ in thisList, don't forget to detemine the apropriate side present condition. Ok, in short .... Â When you're near the laptop, use addAction command: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">player addAction ["Take laptop", "takeit.sqs"] Make a script (takeit.sqs), in which put deleteVehicle for that laptop, and a variable, which will serve as (an aditional) condition for the end trigger. Of course you can modify the things to your liking.

Try with empty markers, and group them(F2) to Osama. Place those markers where you like Osama to appear; he'll then appear randomly on the places of those markers. -
Yes I read the reports that the game is hardware demanding, that's the price to an awsome graphic Gothic 3 is suposing to have (what do you think how the things with ArmA will be   ), but I also read that it runs quite satisfiently on 'older' machines, not on full settings of course, so your buddy should consider to lower the details a bit, and go down with resolution maybe, and above all to reduce the view distance. The predictions were that the map in this game would be/is huge (the land of Myrtana) in relation to a previous Gothic's maps. Is it is so?

Gothic3 is out? Aw, that's good news! Despite I'm not an RPG fan, Gothic series are one of the best games (not just in RPG gangre) I ever played, and I warmly recommending it to enyone who didn't try it yet; Gothic2/Gold Edition must be now so cheap that hurts, and it have the 'Night Of The Raven' expansion in it. XCess, in my scorecard Gothic2 is better than Fallout and  Baldur's Gate together. And Morrowind, and Oblivion, and ... Anyone who's interested: http://www.worldofgothic.com

I was onto it, but reading that the people are kicked out from the servers after a few mins of playing, that there's bunch of bugs present, of missing dll files, constant crashes ... nah, I'll probably wait till this thing is properly patched up. Also people are like fainting when they see its size (1 Gig!!! ) Otherwise I'm like really exited. Or something ...

The bis_resistance addon have a nasty habbit to 'drop off ' from the addons list of the mission, when the mission is saved from .sqm to .pbo, this sometimes happens to me too, so it's wise that the author play the mission also from the Mission's List (as .pbo), to check for such and similar errors. @bardosy Insert 'bis_resistance' in addOns (and also addOnsAuto, it can't hurt) list in mission.sqm.

I don't know for that script, but I quickly maded one. Where's a sense in all this, to make a mod which -to be honnest and in one word- suck? Can you imagine that in American Civil War Mod the units from a Stargate Mod or any other units that don't 'belong' there would be used? Why to make (and then to name) a mod, which is then in almost all aspects totally off that theme/premise?
