Please, do not use the SecuROM security for your new games, it is terrible.
I am a game reviewer for three websites and have had problems with SecuROM from the first game I had with it. Every now and then a new game comes along and I can have a great time gaming and other times I will have nothing but troubles.
I got the game from a digital download directly from the marketing firm handling ARMA 2 and downloaded and installed the game just fine. I have been playing for two weeks now and almost ready to write up the review when SecuROM says I have too many activations. Now I can't play the game and the response from SecuROM on their automated system is troubleshoot with Bohemia Interactive. They send me to the forums at BI to troubleshoot the problem but when you go to the posts about troubleshooting activation issues within Bohemia Interactive forums they say to go talk to SecuROM about it.
Someone please make up their minds to stop aggravating customers and stop using a security program that will not even take responsibility when they mess up. I have not reinstalled the game, have not deactivated it nor have I done anything on this computer but played the game and it says I can't play it anymore.
Bohemia, please don't use SecuROM anymore! :mad:
