Spawning markets on a helo crashsite
jimbojones replied to Falken's topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Sounds pretty cool, i am trying something similar. How did you make the chopper damaged, did you have an AT guy attack it or just have the health low? If you did I am curious how to have a specific unit target another via trigger. -
Thanks, I downloaded it but have not had any luck. Do you know what setting could fix that? I tried alot of combinations with no luck. I will do some searching and see if there is anything else.

Mine is straight install, no langauge modification. -
Just an update, tried patch 1.02 for German DL version, still no go...same error. Just thought i would try since it stated some shader optimizations were in place.

I went about it slightly different, I moved to truck up in the woods towrds the convoy. On my way there I placed a mine in the roadway in the spot indicated on the map. I then set up shop by the woods towards the direction the convoy is coming (to create a bottleneck) I used another mine and my launcher to blow up the tank/trucks -they all got jammed up in the woods and behind the exploded tank. I had also placed a satchel out on the road in front of my postion. One of the trucks unloaded their troops before i got a shot on it, but i just dropped low until the troops advanced then satcheled them. One truck did manage to haul out of there but they got toasted by the mine i placed earlier. I then burned out to the extraction point on foot, no enemies to be seen.

Make soldiers sit down and stay down?
jimbojones replied to jimbojones's topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I continued my search and found some info on OFPEC group_name setformdir value unit_name switchmove "EffectStandSitDownStill" and i believe i can just add this into the waypoint to have them sit when they reach it -

What programming language are Arma Scripts written in? Would like to start learning the basics of them. Thanks -
I downloded it the second day it was available with no problems. Does anyone know what happens after your 3 activations? Will you have to call and activate them or will my copy just become digital cannon fodder
